I have been getting my nails done here for several years. It is the best place in the area. They always do a wonderful job.

I asked for Gel to be removed and do a regular manicure. Their procedure for removing the gel was good. However, when my nail tech did the regular manicure it was fast, bubbled, and pretty bad. They were going to send me on my way with some pretty bad nails. I kindly asked why there were black bubbles? In the end, they removed polish and did it again, still fast and sloppy but at this pointy I smiled and gave up. read more

Not only are the owners, and employees willing to go above and beyond - the quality of the manicure and pedicure cannot be beat. Lasted unphased for nearly a month. I was picking up a loved one from surgery nearby so had time to kill and a need for my nails done. What I thought would be 3 hours of waiting ended up being an hour - TN was willing to do my mani and pedi at the same time, while regularly checking the time and making sure I would be on time for my loved one. I've been coming here off and on for a couple of years because I don't live in the area permanently yet. So far, all the services have been great. Molly does my nails just the way I like them...very meticulously with gel so that when they grow out there are no ridges. Nice selection of colors. Typical salon in that sometimes you have a to wait, even if you have an appointment...but last time I was there they ran a little late and made sure I got out on time. Got my nails done for my wedding last week. Gel mani lasted less than a week before it started peeling up at sides and chipping. When I got my pedicure the water was way to hot so I asked her to add cold water so I could get the foot soak you get with every pedicure. She eventually did but proceeded to do my cuticles etc before that so my feet got less than 5min in water total. In the end I had cuticle cuts on both my toes and hands from her rushing. I had an appointment and there was no line and it wasn't about to close. I use to come to this salon all the time, but find that it really depends on who you get. Michael is great, but definitely hit and miss with the older ladies there. Probably won't be back. read more

The women at this nail salon are so talented! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. My nails look amazing, the detail work is so intricate and precise, and the woman doing my nails took her time to make sure I was happy with each step. Went in because I wanted to treat myself for my birthday/a wedding. I went in for both a pedicure and manicure. My pedicure was fine! The lady who helped me for my pedicure was super sweet and very attentive, which was nice. However, once I started my nails it became utterly disappointing and sad. I asked for the design in the reference picture, but to change the colors on the base nail to a light purple, which I was then told it was something they could do. It wasn't until after my fake nails were on that the lady told me she couldn't do the design I showed her, although before telling me she could. I left utterly frustrated and sad because she could've said it since the beginning to save us both time. Not to mention, throughout the entire time she was doing my nails, it felt as if I was being rushed to leave. She also kept trying to make it seem like it was the better option to not do it than try. I went back and instead of redoing, Lucy tried to glue the gel down. The remaining nails started lifting a couple days later. I went back and told her the nails didn't even last a week, and I asked her to remove them because they looked hideous and were pulling my hair every time I ran my fingers through my hair. She and the owner tried to sell me on another mani or pedi as I waited an hour to get the nails removed....and then they charged me to remove them. What a joke and a rip-off. read more

I had made an appointment to get a basic french manicure. The appointment was for a Friday afternoon. When I got there, the place was so busy that they sat me at an empty station for about 15 minutes before anyone came over to start on my nails. The guy giving my manicure, could not have cared any less about what he was doing. He spoke maybe 10 words to me, total. He painted the tips of my nails white, but did NOT go over the entire nail with a neutral sheer color. Every other french manicure I've had has included a neutral sheer color over the entire nail! When this guy finished, it looked like I had taken white out to the ends of my nails! It wasn't even neat, the work was sloppy, and they had the nerve to charge me $17. I will NEVER be going back to this place again and I suggest you take your money elsewhere too! read more

Came here with my husband on Valentine's Day. I like that it's open on Sunday til 5 pm. They are open 7 days a week. I've been here before and they are very attentive with no wait time. Very disappointing manicure experience. The place itself is not clean, i was grossed out by how dirty the manicure station is and the chairs and the drying stations. The tools and files they use are also dirty and not sanitized properly!!!!! I was shocked when in the middle of my manicure, the nail technician girl asked me to go wash my hands from the lotion she applied!!!! I actually had to stand up and walk and wait for my turn by the sink to wash my hands!!!! Seriously who does that? Every other place i got a manicure at, they use a nice hot towel to wipe off the applied lotion. I will not go back there ever again, and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! read more

Went in to get a fill and when i was finally sat down to get started i was basically forced into getting gel rather than acrylic. she was extremely careless with the application of the gel and rough when handling my hands. she then left in the middle of my nails to do a walk ins pedicure when i has an appointment . i sat there for 20 minutes waiting until another woman started on my nails again. she was nicer but i did not get at all what i asked for and was extremely unhappy with my nails. after they were done i was yelled at by a man "get up and wash your hands your done, get up" so rude and i was on the verge of tears leaving the salon. absolutely horrible experience and will not be coming back. read more

I stopped in here one late afternoon when I'd run out of time to make an appt any other place. An establishment down the sidewalk recommended them when I mentioned I was going to the beach for the weekend and really needed a pedicure. I had hopes given the high recommendation from someone I trusted. They were quite busy and it was late, but the owner fit me right in anyway, which I really appreciated. I opted for their top of the service pedicure. The facility is clean, the staff is all busy and appear to be doing a good job. However they talk between each other the whole time, not in English, and if you are paranoid like me you assume they are talking about you. The prices are on the high side of normal and the service is standard. However, the owner is a bit too crazy with the cuticle cutting. My toes hurt me for a week afterwards. I've never had a pedicure hurt me like that. She continually said "you have dry feet". I guess this is why she felt compelled to cut on them? Whatever the reason, I certainly won't be back. The reality is I have pretty good feet. They are not a mess, no big calluses or ugly nails. Most pedicurists thank me for handing them an easy job. But even if I did I don't think sending someone off with a week of toe pain to look forward to is the way to go. read more

The only one I did not care for as far as gels were concerned, a few years back, was her son. Didn't do a very good job but that was then. have had gel done here for two years. Usually a decent job however this time Katie filed to much on the tip of 3 nails leaving a "hump" in the middle. The arch was so severe it was bothersome and I asked if she would even it out. I made another appointment for the correction. I arrived and showed her the other 7 nails with a slight natural arch and the 3 with severe arches. She argued and said my nails grew that way. So for 2 years they did not grow that way and now they do? I was polite and said I did not want to argue. I did not want my money back just to fix the problem. I have used TN nails exclusively for 4-5 years since Molly bought the shop from Sarah. One of my daughters uses them exclusively. We find them very congenial and helpful. I have had to wait sometimes so I make appointments now. The shop and equipment are kept clean all the time. My teen-age granddaughter had a birthday party where all of her friends got a pedicure. That took a little more time because they had other customers-- but what should you expect with a busy shop. There are lots of repeat customers that would not go elsewhere. read more

When I get my nails done I always go there and have never had a bad experience. It is close to where I live and the hours are terrific. I find the staff to be very accommodating and skillful and have never thought that it was dirty. And I wonder what made her think the tools were dirty. After I finished reading her review, I read a few of the other reviews she has posted on Yelp and found that her normal pattern is to write nasty reviews.
