I'm utterly shocked at the one star reviews because I have nothing but praise for this place! Not only were four of us sat immediately for pedis, we were brought our choice of red white or rose as a complimentary drink. It was even served in glass cups! The place is huge, spotless, doesn't smell like other nail salons and bright as day! The manager/owner, she was such a hoot! She personally thanked us all for coming in. Now, my grandfather was with us. English is his second language, he's 86 and it shows. It's clear my mother is his caretaker so when we were all sat down and it was time for him to take his shoes off, which he needs help with, the woman made sure my mother remained seated and she helped my grandpa take off his socks and shoes! She said you're not the caretaker right now, I am! That was such a sweet little blessing. My grandpa has never had a mani pedi before so we absolutely loved all the attention he was getting. Everyone was so so kind to him and not fake! It was certainly genuine. The woman who answers the phone was my tech. She has perfect English. The other techs are still learning so please be patient and kind. The is was second time here, I'll be back next time I'm in MB.

I waited a week before I wrote this for two reasons. 1) because the 'manager' of the shop angered me and I wanted to write this constructively and 2) to continue to watch my toe to be sure it did not become infected. I went in for a pedicure on Thursday, October 3. They were relatively busy but took me immediately. The young man barely had started the process before my toe started bleeding. Approximately an hr and 20 min later (and after numerous 'I'm sorry's) and numerous methods he tried to get my toe to stop bleeding, the blood was still immersing from my cuticle area. When it continued after an hour, I began to become frustrated. I said to him that I hoped some type of compensation would be offered. Probably 1 hr and 40 to 50 minutes later, he was finally able to paint the last nail. I gave him a $10 tip and went to pay my bill which he said would be $60. I said no compensation for the frustration I have had to go through and he again said $60. He then went to what I am assuming is the manager and she tried to charm me as she approached me and I asked her the same question. She took the $10 tip out of his hands and told me I could have it back! I told her I didn't want his tip - just reduced cost of pedicure. She leaned down and looked at my toe and said well he did apologize for it. At this point, yes I was irritated and probably was a bit stern and said you obviously do not understand good customer service. I told her I was intending to put this on yelp and she decided to reduce my cost to $40. I paid it but am guessing the poor technician lost his $10 tip to the shop! I still felt that I needed to put this incident on yelp as I know that especially when I am away, I often go to help to find services and restaurants I am seeking. I have continuously been treating my toe and feel confident that it is healing. I went to this shop once before and was satisfied with my services but I can guarantee you that this nail shop will not be used again. I understand the cuticle removal accident can occur, however, her ignorance and selfishness is the reason I will not return to this shop.

I was honestly a little scared to go here given the reviews, but I took the chance anyways and let me tell you it paid off ! Aurora did AMAZING, she listened to want I wanted and replicated it perfectly!! The salon was also clean and relaxing! I'd recommend anyone to go there !

Daughter got a nail fungus from dip after telling the man she DID NOT want to to the dip three times. He insisted and did the dip anyway. A week later her nail fell completely off. She went to talk to the owner about it and they laughed at her after talking in their native language. The guy had no remorse. Nail salons have a duty of care to provide to their clients. That duty of care was violated!!

They always do a good job and pretty friendly. The only place in the area that I go for a full set, prices a little higher than others but worth it for a nice job.

This is the beginning stages of toenail fungus. Hopefully I will be able to remedy it prior to it getting unmanageable.

Sure enough, despite my best efforts I have toenail fungus. Prior to my one visit to this salon my nails were healthy and without any fungus. I hadn't been to a nail salon in 3 years. I am convinced that anyone who frequents this salon undoubtedly has toenail fungus as well. I got it from only going once and removing the polish the moment I got home.

Was talked into dip manicure and promised it would not harm my nails and be easy to remove. First off it was clunky and they cut my cuticles so that they bled. Pedicure was ok but definitely nothing special. Have had the manicure for two weeks now and it has held up nicely. I just don't care for the thickness of my nails. Trying to remove it now and definitely misled about "easy" removal. I'll have to soak in acetone for 10-15 minutes!! Nice people in this salon but I'm disappointed in being misled. read more

Well, this is my very first Yelp review if that tells you how upset this made me. I came to their grand reopening when they were giving out gift certificates to the 1st 100 customers. Came back in to use it today in the pouring rain, not knowing that the certificate expired 3 days ago. I asked politely if they'd honor it since it was enclosed in an envelope and I didn't know there was an expiration. I explained I was never told there was an expiration date the day I got it and I'd really like to get my nails done. They told me sorry it's expired and turned me away. As someone who has close friends who run businesses all over the grand strand, this is HORRIBLE business and way to treat your new customers!! I am floored that a place this nice would turn someone away when they clearly wanted to spend more than the handmade gift certificate they were given. What's even worse, is this place made these certificates by hand and they STILL didn't care to please a new customer. Told my friend I went with the first time and we both agreed to never ever return to this over priced nail salon if they choose to treat their customers this way. Shame on them! And by the way, these gift certificates were only good for a WEEK. read more

Super nice staff and clean atmosphere. They are taking the right precautions with covid as well, they have plexiglass in between you and them, wear their masks etc. Kat was amazing, definitely one of the best nail techs in Horry County. read more

I've been looking for a nail place for a while and I've definitely found it! I booked online through Facebook with ease and was able to get a next day appointment. I was greeted and served immediately upon walking in. I showed Peter what I wanted and he replicated it perfectly! He was gentle and absolutely amazing! This salon has a great atmosphere and spectacular service!! The shop was clean, very pleasing to the eye and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Hey I'll be a customer for life! read more

I have given this place so many chances. Don't get me wrong they do nails SO well but they are so unprofessional. They will tell you there is a 10-15minute wait and you end up sitting for 1-2 hours sometimes. I had to get dip powder soaked off my nails which they soaked off for an hour. Then they made me switch to two other chairs after which is very annoying. They don't have a tip line, so I assume they either include the tip in the cost or they have you use their atm in the store so they get cash. I had asked for my nails to be shortened and coffin shape and they told me coffin doesn't look good short. After I said it's okay I like them they still wouldn't shorten them make them coffin and I had to ask multiple times for them to finally do it and ended up getting attitude from the man doing my nails. If you want a better experience and better cost for nails, go to US Nails in Conway. read more

Recently, i went here and asked for a basic design and they tried to charge me $90. I was not paying for that so i opted to get a basic french tip. The guy that did mine was paying no attention to me and watching something on his phone and cut me. The white part of the french is very far down and looks strange. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

I went here and asked for the cat eye, it ended up looking like they just thru sparkles on it. Then I went the next day to get it fixed and he didn't even take off all the cat eye to put the new color. Terrible nails I was embarrassed I had to go to a different salon on day three read more

Not a fan got a pedicure still had rough heels when I got home polish was chipped and pinky toe only 1/2 painted. Had to remove it on day 2. Never experienced cheap polish at a salon before. Won't go again read more

This place is very clean and the staff was very friendly. However, this was my first time coming here so when I walked in I first asked how much it would be to get a fill in with gel polish and was told $25. Once my nail tech was done I was given a price of $35 which was clearly $10 more than what I was initially told. After hearing the total, I brought it to their attention of how the woman who welcomed me told me it would be $25 when I first came in and they clearly overcharged me for the service. Because of this incident, I will not be going back. If an employee tells a client a certain price then the client should get that price even if the employee gave the incorrect price. read more

This place is amazing! They accommodated 7 walk-in pedicures and sat us together and super quickly. Everyone was super friendly and fun! They offered complimentary water and soda. Be did my pedicure and she was fantastic!! She did an amazing job plus was friendly and even sang me a song! Be gave me one of the best pedicures of my life! read more

I got acrylic gel nails done here not even a week ago and they are already coming up, I've gotten my nails done plenty of times so I know its not normal for that to happen within less than a week. The lady that was doing my nails didn't have me wash my hands during the process like they normally have you do and I found that a little weird too. I paid $60 for just the nails... I think that's a little steep for simple color. And on top of it 3 of my nails got a small infection after getting them done here. I won't be coming back and I won't be recommending this place to anyone either. read more

Andy did an amazing job today! If you want the most relaxing, full attention to detail and melt away pedicure go see him. He did a great job, paid attention and really made you feel relaxed and comfortable. I will be going back to him. I am never one to leave bad reviews, unless it is was a very bad experience. I have never had issues with Nail Couture in the past as they are very clean and typically nice. For the prices they charge, you would think they wouldn't hire someone who didn't know what they were doing. I went in for a gel manicure and left wishing I just did them myself due to the terrible paint job and filing. Everyone I showed asked me why I even paid for them because they did not look like they were done professionally at all. The person who did my nails name tag read "K" and it genuinely seemed like she had never done nails before. She struggled with filing them and got paint all over my skin and did not even bother to clean it up, as well as the way she talked to me was demeaning. I was very bothered by the whole experience and I know people have their off days, but I don't think this was a mistake as every step she did was off and my nails are a mess. Make sure you make an appointment with someone who has good reviews if you want an adequate experience, as this is a nice nail salon. Sad to leave this but I needed to share. read more

This is the only nail salon I'll go to in Myrtle beach. They are incredibly sweet and accommodating. My boyfriend and I got pedicures- and they had three people working on us at the same time- lucky, Lisa, and Be. WORST mani/pedi I've ever had by Lisa. My toenails look like a 4 year old polished them. My nails are unevenly filed, missing polish in some areas and not shiny at all. There is dust and polish left all around my nails and cuticle. Drilled my skin several times while removing my previous gel polish. Will never come back. Still charged full price despite me complaining during and after services. read more

I went in as a walk-in and was met by the friendliest, coolest staff and the vibe was immaculate. Jake had availability for my tattoo, and he was incredible from start to finish. I couldn't find exact reference photos for the tattoo I had in mind, so I came in with a collection of tattoos saved on my phone that highlighted different concepts, line work, and details I liked. Jake genuinely seemed excited about the idea and took the time to go through every detail with me as we talked through how to bring the piece to life. He then drew up a design that captured exactly what I had envisioned. Once the stencil was ready, he was just as meticulous about placement as he was about the design itself. My wife showed him what she wanted and Sam went to work , within a few minutes she was happy and the tattoo was started. My wife already wants to go back for her next one. The whole staff was really friendly and helpful, Sam even gave us food recommendations on where to grab lunch .

I had initially wanted a scripture (Genesis 16:13) below the Hebrew letters but due to the size I wanted he explained that over time the loops of the letters would close and it would not look crisp/clean anymore. I was grateful for that feedback as I was unaware of that fact and would not want a tattoo that doesn't look high quality... even years down the road. It's a very clean place: brand new needle in package shown to me before tattoo work began. Thorough follow up care provided including great responsiveness to messages. Very reasonable price for such quality work.

This place not only said they would stay open but that they were waiting for us. We came all the way from Murrels inlet to this place not only because of the hours given but because the guy on the phone was so sincere. We even called on our way and they said they would be open. We got there, shop closed & someone inside saying they were closed after we described what we wanted on the phone. I work in the customer service industry & don't think I have ever written a review. The fact they literally told us they were staying open and going to do our tattoos so that we traveled 30 minutes, just for them to close. Can't speak on their work or what they do if you would be there earlier but the lady on the phone and the service we got when we arrived 45 minutes before closing was actually wild.

I went to this place for the first time today and had Kristi do my nails. Not only was she so kind, but she was patient and took her time on each nail. Unfortunately, the customer next to me wasnt pleased with her nails and began to be extremely rude to the workers! Not only was Kristi kind, but she did everything she could to help this customer. Luckily the customer left pleased, but the demonstration of maturity and responsibility I saw from my nail tech was amazing! If you read the review I wrote yesterday on Nail Avenue you will understand why I had to have my nails redone today. Today was my first visit to Nail Couture (by 38th, not Carolina Forest) and Thu (sounds like to) was amazing! I left with a beautiful design on a full set of nails and even had another pedicure to correct the disaster from yesterday. I came in on my lunch break and was seen almost instantly. Lucky did an AWESOME job on my nails! The salon is clean and well kept. This is the first nail salon I've been to in this area and I will definitely be back. What's best is it's minutes away from work making it very convenient for me. If I could leave no stars I would! I just walked in to this nail salon and no one greeted me. I picked up a brochure and started looking at my options, when another woman walked in and was greeted and taken back before me. I will never recommend or visit this nail salon again! This was the first time me and a girlfriend visited this location. We both got the honey macchiato pedicure and were extremely pleased! Service was amazing and offered us beverages right away (we had white wine)! Pedicures were relaxing and not at all rushed! Will be back for sure!
