BE AWARE!!! This place violates the Standard guidelines!!!! Can't believe they have multiple locations such as Nail Eden. I use to love this place because they were precise on the work(depends who). When I was getting my pedicure and nails done a lady had her HAIR DOWN TOUCHING MY TOES! EW. The second complaint is they use USED TOOLS ,Buffers, Etc. Paid $230 for acrylic toes and nails just for them to use dirty equipment on me giving me a FUNGUS! When I tried coming in for a "soak off" they did me wrong with a POP OFF! I'm utterly shocked at the one star reviews because I have nothing but praise for this place! Not only were four of us sat immediately for pedis, we were brought our choice of red white or rose as a complimentary drink. It was even served in glass cups! The place is huge, spotless, doesn't smell like other nail salons and bright as day! The manager/owner, she was such a hoot! She personally thanked us all for coming in. Now, my grandfather was with us. English is his second language, he's 86 and it shows. It's clear my mother is his caretaker so when we were all sat down and it was time for him to take his shoes off, which he needs help with, the woman made sure my mother remained seated and she helped my grandpa take off his socks and shoes! She said you're not the caretaker right now, I am! That was such a sweet little blessing. My grandpa has never had a mani pedi before so we absolutely loved all the attention he was getting. Everyone was so so kind to him and not fake! It was certainly genuine. The woman who answers the phone was my tech. She has perfect English. What I got was an inexperienced kid that could not understand any English. ( maybe this was just a game for him) Service was bad, had to remove polish when I got home. I waited a week before I wrote this for two reasons. 1) because the 'manager' of the shop angered me and I wanted to write this constructively and 2) to continue to watch my toe to be sure it did not become infected. I went in for a pedicure on Thursday, October 3. They were relatively busy but took me immediately. The young man barely had started the process before my toe started bleeding. Approximately an hr and 20 min later (and after numerous 'I'm sorry's) and numerous methods he tried to get my toe to stop bleeding, the blood was still immersing from my cuticle area. When it continued after an hour, I began to become frustrated. I said to him that I hoped some type of compensation would be offered. Probably 1 hr and 40 to 50 minutes later, he was finally able to paint the last nail. I gave him a $10 tip and went to pay my bill which he said would be $60. I said no compensation for the frustration I have had to go through and he again said $60. He then went to what I am assuming is the manager and she tried to charm me as she approached me and I asked her the same question. She took the $10 tip out of his hands and told me I could have it back! I told her I didn't want his tip - just reduced cost of pedicure. She leaned down and looked at my toe and said well he did apologize for it. At this point, yes I was irritated and probably was a bit stern and said you obviously do not understand good customer service. I told her I was intending to put this on yelp and she decided to reduce my cost to $40. I paid it but am guessing the poor technician lost his $10 tip to the shop! I still felt that I needed to put this incident on yelp as I know that especially when I am away, I often go to help to find services and restaurants I am seeking. I have continuously been treating my toe and feel confident that it is healing. I went to this shop once before and was satisfied with my services but I can guarantee you that this nail shop will not be used again. I understand the cuticle removal accident can occur, however, her ignorance and selfishness is the reason I will not return to this shop. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst pedicure I've ever received. I'm a cosmetologist in Connecticut and know what's correct & what's not. Timmy was my tech. Granted I chose an express pedi but he completely rushed through the service. I was there for no more than 20 minutes. My cuticles were cut & bleeding, he dropped a file on the floor and continued to use it on my nails and broke the corner of my toe nail off because he dug the tool under my nail so hard it broke the nail. Massage was totally skipped instead he just man handled my feet around and acted annoyed the entire time. AND to top it off DRENCHED my toes in cuticle oil afterwards and didn't wipe it off so walking in flip flops was extremely slippery. After multiple attempts of talking with the nail tech to explain what I wanted, he continued to ignore me and was unresponsive aside from talking with coworkers. I was growing my natural nails out and asked for hard gel to keep them strong. Never did he ask about shape, length, or even color. He filed my nails completely down to my finger tips and put the THICKEST layer of hard gel on my nails causing them to look like stubby bubble nails. When asked if I like them I spoke up again and said they really weren't at all what I wanted and I hated that he filed down my nails completely. He did wind up thinning out the hard gel but was visibly annoyed. I never ever speak up in situations like this but they were SO bad I couldn't leave like that. She went to talk to the owner about it and they laughed at her after talking in their native language. The guy had no remorse. Nail salons have a duty of care to provide to their clients. This place never disappoints me. Just went for a Jelly pedicure and Crystal was AMAZING! This is just what I needed!! Also 5 of us were here around 4th of July for Jelly pedicures. i went to this place before by myself and wasn't happy with quality of service BUT I wanted to give them a second chance, not for me but for my granddaughter so I took her there (BIG MISTAKE) I had to deal with a mean and despicable manager or owner, all because I was waiting for her, seating in the front with my service dog. We were not disturbing her business. She didn't want me there but in the back of the salon and my service dog doesn't stand the strong nail products smell! I got enough from this place, I won't take anyone or recommend this place at all. I normally stick to the same nail place but I was in the area so I ventured to try something new. I had about three and a half weeks of growth on my acrylics so I asked for a refill and wanted a color change. I should have known it wasn't going to be good when the man brought back the wrong color. but mistakes happen, so I told him it wasn't the right one and he eventually got the right one. He asked if I wanted them cut and I said yes just a little bit. He then proceeded to cut them into almost numbs and use the nail filer to scrub my nails down. I was sitting there panicking because I don't like being a bother or asking people to redo things, but I mustered up the courage and told him they were way too short and no longer round, but super pointy. He acted annoyed with me and told him I said I wanted them shorter and I told him very kindly that I only had wanted them a little bit shorter than they already were. He also ended up cutting my cuticle and making it bleed, which has never happened before. so instead of starting over completely he decided to build my nails back up with the acrylic powder making them thick as could be. I was flabbergasted but again, didn't say anything because I didn't want to seem like I was complaining. I let him continue and held my breath for most of my 40 or so minute service. I paid 50 dollars plus a 10 dollar tip to have nails that are uneven, misshapen, chunky, and ugly. Do not go here ever. read more

I went here to try out a new nail place and it had good reviews online. I will not be coming back here. The nails themselves were well done but my cuticles are destroyed. On 6 of my 10 fingers my cuticles are raw and bleeding to the point where I can see the start of the nail beds. I told Dee that it hurt and he told me it wouldn't if I relaxed and kept going. When he saw that one was bleeding pretty badly he just made a "tsk" sound and carried on. The room I had to wash my hands in before starting was filthy and I had to shake my hands dry bc no towels. I went to the wax room and the chair was stained and dirty. The wax was WAY too hot & she ripped the strip off slowly. It hurt SO bad. She laughed & tried to say she took of some of my make up. THE SKIN WAS RIPPED OFF UNDER BOTH. I was bleeding & didn't notice how bad it really was. I sat down for my pedicure in so much pain. I wanted regular polish. I had to ask 5 times for the water to be hotter. By the 5th time he got annoyed. It was cold? I was finally (trying) to get relaxed & got ambushed by the manager about how I should get gel. I literally said no 20 times before she finally got the hint I didn't want it. She whispered to the guy doing my nails & stormed off annoyed. I think it was something along the lines of hurry up & get her out of here. I could tell he was rushing. As he was dremmeling the bottom of my feet he went WAY too deep. It burned SO badly. THEN as he was clipping my cuticles he cut me & I started bleeding. He DROPPED THE NAIL POLISH APPLICATOR FACE DOWN ON THE TOE FUNGUS FILLED FLOOR & put it back in the bottle & onto my bloody toenail. He continues to do the bare minimum & the whole time he's making inappropriate comments about my bf & ask if we kiss a lot. what? I then go to my nail table where he's doing my nails too. He asked for payment before. I handed him my debit card & he said "how much of a tip are you giving me"You don't ASK for a tip. Despite the horror, I tipped him $12. He cut me on 2 different nails. There was polish all over my skin. when I asked him to remove it he said "let me do my job." He didn't. The polish looked like a 5 year old did it. Then he says we forgot to charge you for eyebrows. The manager was sitting next to him & I showed her and told her how unhappy I was. She said she wouldn't charge me & whispered something to the guy. After that he turned the drying fan off & I asked if i should sit under the dryer. He said no just be careful. He was pushing me out of the door at this point. When I left, my card had been charged the extra $10 without my consent. When I get home I saw how bad my eyebrows really were & how awful my nails/toenails came out. I couldn't believe they let me walk of there like that paying $85. I was nice through the whole ordeal but was LIVID at this point. I called the store & explained my experience to the manager & asked for a refund. I'm not that type of person.. I never go out of my way to be nit picky or write reviews unless it's really awful. I didn't want to come off like I was just trying to get free services. I offered to come back & have the polish removed but she started interrupting me. I couldn't finish a sentence. I asked her to nicely to stop. She CONTINUED & started chanting "just give me your number so my boss can deal with you we don't do refunds". She was mocking/laughing at me & I asked for the owner to call me immediately & she hung up on me. I called back & once again she wouldn't let me speak without chanting "give me your number just give me your number" literally yelling & hung up on me for the 2nd time. I called back & said I was coming back with the police (I was ready to file a lawsuit bc of my injuries) the owner calls a couple mins later & took the time to listen & was nice about everything. He asked me what could be done to fix it & apologized , which I appreciated. I asked for a refund for the $50 I spent on my debit card & said they could keep the $35 gift card & the tip. He immediately venmoed me the full $85 back, which I wasn't expecting. I felt better, but it does NOT excuse what took place.The way it was handled and the customer service of the manager and other workers was absolutely disgusting. The owner needs to re-evaluate who he has working in his salon. This place is awful, and I am not writing this review to retaliate, but to caution other people. there are MUCH better salons with well-kept facilities & friendly staff. Choose ANYWHERE but here. I'm so disgusted I want to cry every time I look in the mirror. I'm appalled someone like that manager is even allowed to work in the industry. Dont waste your money here unless you want to be treated like garbage & leave bleeding with missing skin & bruising. What a terrible experience. I would have filed legal charges if the owner didn't make it right. IDK the managers name, but she has long dark brown hair. The guy doing my nails goes by "D" & I don't know the name of the girl who did my eyebrows either. I will find out & update. My brows look WAY worse in real life. They are now blistering & my right eye is swollen almost shut w/ bruising around both eyes & nails/toenails HURT. Save yourself the horror & go anywhere else! This place is tragic-See photos. I Got a fill on a Saturday and had for nails fall off by Tuesday so I went in to get them fixed and Christy offered to redo my whole set with dipping powder ( not to mention 15 minutes before closing). I was in Myrtle Beach for a week visiting my daughter and went to Nail Couture. Very disappointed!! Was expensive! The girl was nice who did the gel nails and pedicure but I realized after I got in the car she forgot to put the top coat on a few of my nails. They were dull and had no shine! When I went to check out I had a $100 bill and they said their drawer was locked and manager not there. Really, how can a business run like this. So I had to leave with no change!! Was talked into dip manicure and promised it would not harm my nails and be easy to remove. First off it was clunky and they cut my cuticles so that they bled. Pedicure was ok but definitely nothing special. Have had the manicure for two weeks now and it has held up nicely. I just don't care for the thickness of my nails. Trying to remove it now and definitely misled about "easy" removal. I'll have to soak in acetone for 10-15 minutes!! Nice people in this salon but I'm disappointed in being misled. read more

Well, this is my very first Yelp review if that tells you how upset this made me. I came to their grand reopening when they were giving out gift certificates to the 1st 100 customers. Came back in to use it today in the pouring rain, not knowing that the certificate expired 3 days ago. I asked politely if they'd honor it since it was enclosed in an envelope and I didn't know there was an expiration. I explained I was never told there was an expiration date the day I got it and I'd really like to get my nails done. They told me sorry it's expired and turned me away. As someone who has close friends who run businesses all over the grand strand, this is HORRIBLE business and way to treat your new customers!! I am floored that a place this nice would turn someone away when they clearly wanted to spend more than the handmade gift certificate they were given. What's even worse, is this place made these certificates by hand and they STILL didn't care to please a new customer. Told my friend I went with the first time and we both agreed to never ever return to this over priced nail salon if they choose to treat their customers this way. Shame on them!
