She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. The older woman who does pedicures clearly needs to retire -- she moves painfully slow and never seems to understand what customers are asking for, yet they continue assigning her to clients. The rest of the nail techs aren't much better. They have bad attitudes, don't listen to what you want, and the quality of their work is subpar. The polish is often uneven, and instead of fixing it correctly, they just drill your nails down until they're lopsided or damaged. The last straw was yesterday. I went in for a simple soak-off, which should mean soaking the nails in a solution to safely remove the product. Instead, they insisted on using a drill again. I told the tech my pinky nail hurt and asked her not to use the drill. She ignored me and kept going. When I said it hurt, she told me to "come back when it heals." I even asked if she could just remove it manually -- she refused. That was it for me. They will never see another dollar of my money. The lack of care, poor service, and disregard for customers' comfort are unacceptable.

I walked in because it was conveniently on my way home rather than going to my regular place. It was super busy, and the manager was rushing around seemingly trying to do everything at once. The energy was uncomfortable, so I tried to leave but they called me back, saying they could do my eyebrows now. They had to kick someone's kid out of the wax room who was chilling on the waxing table. The manager would sometimes cool the wax by blowing towards my face. At least my eyebrows turned out good. The manicure was painted on fine. My big issue was that the manicurist didn't file my nails well. For starters, she didn't understand what "round" shape was. Only straight or almond shaped. I kept asking for "no corners" and asking her to file some of the sharp corners she'd make. She only used the coarse file, there was no finer file to smooth the ends. (Maybe she thought I was in a rush because of my earlier attempt to escape the chaotic energy.) I was hoping to trust the process and the polish would smooth the tips, but I left with toothy texture on the tips of my nails. Fortunately I was able to file them down myself at home without effecting the polish. And I was charged $50 for the gel manicure and eyebrow wax. Thats $10 more than my regular salon I visit.

To make matters worse, my nail tech was on her phone during my calf massage and even took a phone call. That felt incredibly unprofessional and made an already disappointing experience even worse. Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service has significantly declined. On multiple occasions, my acrylic overlay was not fully cured, and once, the overlay started peeling off my nail. The same issue occurred with my toes, where the gel polish wasn't fully cured. Although they tried to fix it, the problems persisted. Most recently, my acrylic overlay began lifting again, and instead of properly fixing it, the technician filed down my natural nail and applied gel on top, claiming it would help. Unfortunately, this only resulted in my nail breaking -- and it was a nail I had been growing out for a long time. My nails take a long time to grow, so I was very upset by this. To make matters worse, they also over-filed my nails to the point where I now experience pain and am unable to get them done. After several calls to inform them of my issues, they did attempt to make repairs, but the solutions didn't resolve the problems, and it became repetitive to keep asking for fixes. I also want to mention that after I raised concerns, the staff didn't seem happy about the feedback, which made me uncomfortable. This negatively impacted my overall experience. I spoke with the owner a couple of times, and while she encouraged me to return and give them another chance, I've reached the point where I feel it's no longer worth it. This last visit was the final straw. I even told the technician that if they needed to take a different approach to ensure my nails would last, they should have communicated that with me. After all, they are the professionals. Until they address their staff issues and improve their service consistency, I will not be returning.
