Do not go to this nail salon. I've given this place multiple chances, and the service has been consistently horrible. The older woman who does pedicures clearly needs to retire -- she moves painfully slow and never seems to understand what customers are asking for, yet they continue assigning her to clients. The rest of the nail techs aren't much better. They have bad attitudes, don't listen to what you want, and the quality of their work is subpar. The polish is often uneven, and instead of fixing it correctly, they just drill your nails down until they're lopsided or damaged. The last straw was yesterday. I went in for a simple soak-off, which should mean soaking the nails in a solution to safely remove the product. Instead, they insisted on using a drill again. I told the tech my pinky nail hurt and asked her not to use the drill. She ignored me and kept going. When I said it hurt, she told me to "come back when it heals." I even asked if she could just remove it manually -- she refused. That was it for me. They will never see another dollar of my money. The lack of care, poor service, and disregard for customers' comfort are unacceptable. read more

They treated my grandma very well and gently during her manicure and pedicure. We were a walk in and they attended us right away with overall good service entire time. My grandma messed up her manicure and they did not hesitate to fix it for her being very kind about it. They charged $17 for the most basic manicure and $30 for pedicure. $5 for gel removal if you had it like my grandma did. Would definitely come again as the salon was very inviting. Not the most luxurious salon in Arlington, but customer service was great. read more

The customer service was nice. Pretty quiet. The lady who did my toes was nice and friendly. The lady who did my nails wasn't all that friendly. My nails weren't perfect looking. My fingers was nicked and bleeding. The lady wasn't very gentle. My nails also came out looking bubbled and thick (which may had came from the gel). Maybe it was a one time thing, but it was a bit of an discouraging one. read more

I'm very leery of going to new places to get a pedicure. However, this place is conveniently located in the Albertsons's shopping center. So, I thought I would give it a try. The pedicure was average to say the best. The advertised specials didn't apply as stated and the credit cards taken were not what was advertised either... The only saving grace to this story was the cold drink on a 106 degree day and the 10 minute neck and shoulder massage that was complimentary with your service. Will I return?? Excellent customer service! I got a pedicure on Friday and then on Saturday I ran over it with a vacuum cleaner. I came back Monday for a repair. They fixed it immediately and didn't charge me. I fully expected to pay something because it was totally my fault. I will definitely be back again! I only gave 4 stars because I was a little burnt after my eyebrow wax. Just an observation on my 2nd trip... I wanted to spend some time relaxing after finishing quite a bit of work so I decided to get a mani/pedi. Okay, I didn't mind the first 20 minutes with my feet just soaking. Once the tag-team mani & pedi started I couldn't relax with the massage I was being given on my legs because of the constant conversation back and forth not only with the techs working on me but also the other two who had finished their work. My pedicure was done in a huge rush. You could clearly tell the employee was too occupied in finishing so she could get back to her previous clients manicure. She'd get up every so often to check on the client and assure her she wouldn't be long. Once she set her timer for the massage part, she stopped THREE times to text on her phone! ANOTHER time to answer the store phone AND another time to tend to the front desk. Once she finally got to painting my nails, they were done half asked then she disappeared. Nothing was said, my shoes weren't given to me or anything. My friend next to me finished nearly 20 minutes after me to show comparison. I would not recommend this salon. My nails got ruined right after I left and the supplies they use is very cheap. They're very unprofessional and will never fulfill your expectations now matter how much you pay. I've been to this nail shop about 2 times and I have been very impressed with the services I've received. Both times I've gotten a pedicure and the atmosphere as been very relaxing. They offer a wide range of services and you get to fill out everything you want on a sheet when you walk in, and the prices are already listed so that you're not tricked into an amount at the end. They offer drinks and there is always something entertaining on the tv's. I've left both times feeling completely relaxed and I'm excited for the next visit. read more

Buyer beware!!! Make sure you ask for Tommy or Maria and don't let ANYONE else do them! I usually go here regularly and have them do it but yesterday they were busy and I was given to a lady with tattooed on eyebrows who had NO IDEA what she was doing. I wanted a fill of solar pink and white nails and mine had grown out about 3 weeks since my last fill. She never asked if I wanted them cut shorter, I assumed she knew from the growth that I did. She put the pink so it ended where my fingertips did and that's when I told her they were supposed to be shorter but to just fill them up with powder and put polish on them bc that took her 45 minutes and they were terrible looking, I just wanted to leave. She got the sticky powder all over my fingers and hands. She cut my cuticles with the dremmel ON PURPOSE like she was cutting away dead skin but she could've given me staph or MRSA! One nail was as thick as a stack of three quarters and the lengths were all uneven. The white/pink border on ALL of them was jacked up. Finally I told her to stop and that I wanted someone else to finish them. She they they WERE finished!!! Tommy came over to look at them and promised he'd fix them. I waited patiently for 20 minutes for him to finish his current client and he stayed late to fix them, make them all even, and paint them red. This was the worst experience of my life and if I ever go here again no one but Tommy is touching my hands! (He didn't charge me but I tipped him $20 for being so sweet and fixing them right) Overall I really like this place, but they need to fire whoever did my nails. I may go to Skyline from now on bc paying more would be worth it to not have to go through this again read more

Get the $35 pedi package, they rub fresh citrus on your legs while they scrub and massage and then you have the choice of hot stones or hot wax, followed by a hot towel treatment. When I first went the ladies were nice, and as I explained what I wanted they kept changing the price (which doesn't bother me because I wanted to have nice nails). When I had finally decided on what I was getting I was introduced to the women who would late be doing my nails, I began to try and talk to her making small talk and she ignored me and just kept working on my nails. I asked for powder nails in a certain shade (I forgot the shade number), that were matte, and the style to be square oval (or as some nail salons call it squoval), oh yeah and on my ring finger I asked for a ombré with red and black. When she first brought the nail color I immediately noticed that it looked different from what I had originally chosen (such as there were sparkles and it wasn't as deep of the color I had chosen). I left her continue doing my nails with this color because I didn't mind the color change, so she started to dip my nails in the powder which really confused me because I didn't ask for dip powder nails and I have never seen that before. Once again I let her keep going because she has the degree in cosmetology not me. Now when I was asking about the ombré she had someone else come over and talk to her about it (I could not understand what her and the other guy were talking about because it was in their language, but they said the word ombré 5 times). As she is doing the ombré it looked werid, and actually that's me just being nice it wasn't an ombré at all it was half black and half red and you could see the black underneath some of the red. When the lady was done with my nails I asked if this was ombré and she said yes. It looked really odd so I asked my friend what she thought and she said it was nice so I ignored it and payed anyway but I was very uneasy about the nails. but when I got home and showed my mom she told me that they were ugly and that the "ombré" they did was sloppy and unprofessional (my mom went to cosmetology school and graduated so she knows when something is wrong). I went back to the salon the next day and when I presented my receipt and asked if they could take my nails off because I didn't like them and I had wanted a refund the manager told me that I could their policy does not allow refunds, so I asked my mom if they could do that, my mom said she wasn't sure so we would have to hire a lawyer. When I told the manager that the ombré is what and ombré should look like she told me that I didn't pay for an ombré but I had paid for a design, then I explained that I had told the lady who did my nails that I wanted an ombré and she had said that it was ombré. The manager refused to give me my refund until I said I wanted her to see her manager and she said that she is the store manager so I told her I wanted the owners phone number and the manager said she won't give it to me, so then I told her I want to know the owners name. Once again the manager refused to tell me and then she kept yelling "I am the manager!" "our policy say no refunds!" I told her that if she is refusing to give me her employers name I would contact the police and she took my receipt and walked away. When she came back she told me that they will take my nails off and give me a refund. I have never had a problem with my nails and had to have them taken off and get a refund. So I'm sorry that I caused a seen but I did not like my nails and so I came back and handled it. I'm never going back her because I was disappointed but mainly I was disrespected. read more

I thought I'd try it since I got a coupon in the mail. The employees were nice; however the pedicure paint job was only mediocre. They sloughed away a lot of my dead foot skin. I paid, left to go run errands, and realized I did not have my debit card. They had accidentally kept it (well, I'm hoping accidentally). This really irritated me having to drive all the way back over there. Just for this alone, I highly doubt I'll be going back there. When I was leaving I saw another nail shop in the same shopping center advertising their pedicures for $1 less than the coupon for a basic pedicure at Nails USA. Will not go back. Had a bad experience the second time around. My nail chiped the same day that I got my nails done. I returned the second day to get a repair. The tech that did my nails did not measure the Nail to be exact like the others. She was upset when I pointed this out to her. She raised her voice and she did not replace the Nail to fix it.
