I decided to treat myself to builder gel. I went in specifically asking for builder gel. I said I wanted my nails short. Just past my finger tips. I wanted builder gel. I wanted natural pink. I had a photo of what I hoped to get. Realistic. Nothing crazy at all. I started with my pedicure. No issue there. It was great. Then they come to do my hands. I've not had my nails done in years. Many years. So they put the tips on and cut them down. Then start dipping. I'm not sure if this is the process. Well it isn't. I ended up with dip nails. I didn't want to switch up and make them remove it after they'd already started so I just let them finish. That's on me because I'm very non confrontational and just do what's easiest even if it's at my expense. Well they also did no clean up or cuticle work. And I asked several times to fix crooked nails and it never was right. So I left with crooked thick nails, ragged cuticles and dip on the cuticle and surrounding skin. Now I know. Some of it is on me. I couldve made them start over. But I shouldn't have to. I showed a photo of what I wanted. Color and very short natural look. I asked for builder gel at the beginning. Dip should've never been anywhere near me. My ignorance of the process was a factor but it shouldn't have been. I came home and had to clean up my own nails. File to shape properly and fix all the crookedness. Pedicures are fine. Nails? I'll probably go somewhere else from now on.

Familiarity and convenience kept me returning, but after my most recent visit, I believe it may be time for a change. My son and I came in for pedicures and I also planned to get my usual dip manicure. In the past, they would begin my nails while I was getting my pedicure, but that did not happen this time. Because of the long wait, I decided to skip the dip and just have it removed. I was charged $10 for the dip removal and $20 for the file down/no color or anything. And during the process, the technician actually broke one of my nails. Then comes the pedicure quality, which is why I had to return today. There were visual streaks in the polish and nail polish on my nail bed. When they attempted to correct it, a technician selected a polish color without asking what shade I wanted. When I asked to see the color book so I could choose the correct one, she left the polish she selected and walked away without correcting it. I sat for about six minutes before someone else finally came over to assist me. Thankfully, another technician brought the color book and I was able to select the right shade. She corrected it without hesitation, but this was not the first time I had to return to have something corrected the next day. After being a loyal customer for several years, the last year of experiences have been met with frustration and disappointment.

The older woman who does pedicures clearly needs to retire -- she moves painfully slow and never seems to understand what customers are asking for, yet they continue assigning her to clients. The rest of the nail techs aren't much better. They have bad attitudes, don't listen to what you want, and the quality of their work is subpar. The polish is often uneven, and instead of fixing it correctly, they just drill your nails down until they're lopsided or damaged. The last straw was yesterday. I went in for a simple soak-off, which should mean soaking the nails in a solution to safely remove the product. Instead, they insisted on using a drill again. I told the tech my pinky nail hurt and asked her not to use the drill. She ignored me and kept going. When I said it hurt, she told me to "come back when it heals." I even asked if she could just remove it manually -- she refused. That was it for me. They will never see another dollar of my money. The lack of care, poor service, and disregard for customers' comfort are unacceptable.

I decided to give it another shot today and WOW! The two people I got were amazing. I can't say EVERYONE is good in there but the people I got this last time had converted me to a regular. Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.

I walked in because it was conveniently on my way home rather than going to my regular place. It was super busy, and the manager was rushing around seemingly trying to do everything at once. The energy was uncomfortable, so I tried to leave but they called me back, saying they could do my eyebrows now. They had to kick someone's kid out of the wax room who was chilling on the waxing table. The manager would sometimes cool the wax by blowing towards my face. At least my eyebrows turned out good. The manicure was painted on fine. My big issue was that the manicurist didn't file my nails well. For starters, she didn't understand what "round" shape was. Only straight or almond shaped. I kept asking for "no corners" and asking her to file some of the sharp corners she'd make. She only used the coarse file, there was no finer file to smooth the ends. (Maybe she thought I was in a rush because of my earlier attempt to escape the chaotic energy.) I was hoping to trust the process and the polish would smooth the tips, but I left with toothy texture on the tips of my nails. Fortunately I was able to file them down myself at home without effecting the polish. And I was charged $50 for the gel manicure and eyebrow wax. Thats $10 more than my regular salon I visit.

When someone is spending around $200, time and attention to detail should come with that, and unfortunately, that hasn't been consistent. The lack of time taken is clearly leading to mistakes. During my most recent visit, I got a pedicure and brought my own base coat, polish, and top coat. The technician applied layer after layer of polish without allowing proper drying time, which caused it to smear. I followed the instructions and waited the recommended 10 minutes. By the time I got to my car, my first big toe had already smeared. I decided to leave it alone, went home, and sat through an entire movie. After that, when I got up, my second big toe had smeared as well. I had to return to get it fixed, which should not happen after spending that kind of money. Although a different technician corrected it and took her time, that level of care should have been there from the start. I appreciate that it was fixed, but at the same time, I paid for a completed service the first time. I understand this is a business and there's a desire to move quickly and accommodate as many customers as possible, but long term success comes from making each client feel valued. Rushing through services to get to the next person creates a poor experience and impacts quality. I also did not appreciate being pushed to upgrade to gel when I had already decided on what I wanted. I was there with my daughter as well, and while we were accommodated, the overall experience still felt rushed. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll return. If I do, it will only be for Jenny. Her customer service is a 10 out of 10. She is patient, attentive, and takes the time to walk you through options. She even recommended polishes I had never tried before. She consistently greets me warmly, checks on me throughout my visit, and makes the experience feel personal. If I were rating Jenny alone, it would easily be a 10 out of 10.

The last three times I've been here. just didn't come away satisfied with my actual pedi or mani. . I didn't realize until I left that I had a Cut on my foot. Wasn't there before getting my pedicure. I'm Putting some antibiotic ointment on it. While I Purchased a standard pedicure, which included a scrub. it doesn't appear they finished it with any type of cream. I while everyone is always very polite, also suggested that when clients were present that their conversations be in English so that laughter could be shared by all. It would put everyone at ease to know that they were not talking about us. I'm sad
