First, let me say the technician did a great pedicure. Beautiful work and great massage. My friend and I walked in wanting our pedicures done together. They said they could accommodate us both and after a short wait, had us both soaking. While my friend was getting her pedicure, I sat for 45 minutes, soaking in now cold water before anyone started my pedicure. No one acknowledged me or apologized for the delay. I was not happy! The technician that did my friends pedicure, ended up doing mine. They clearly did not have the time to do two pedicures together and I felt duped. Something that should've been relaxing and fun turned into something annoying and stressful. I would probably give Nail Envy another chance though. Their work is always quality. read more

Took my daughter here for a mother daughter date to get our nails done. She got a full set and I got gels with a manicure. They were very clean and had a good selection of gel colors to choose from, but during my manicure the girl doing my nails pushed back my cuticle on one of my nails with her fingernail. I'm not a manicurist but I know that's a big no no. While we were there someone came in complaining that the gel on one of her nails that they just did had bubbled and peeled off and they had to fix it. When we were done we got in the car and my daughter said she didn't like here acrylics. They were uneven. No nail looked the same. Usually she is pretty picky but when I looked at them I was shocked how bad they were. She tried communicating with the man who did them but they don't speak much English and she was having a hard time explaining to him that they were uneven. He would try to "fix" it and she said it ended up looking worse and making them shorter than she wanted. She said she just gave up. We probably won't go back. read more

This is the best nail salon in town. The service is always friendly and the salon is very clean and relaxing in its atmosphere. Tin at Nail Envy worked me into their busy day and I was incredibly pleased with the facility, location and service. The owners were fantastic and both my manicure and pedicure turned out very nice... and the hand and foot massage was incredible. Two days later and no chips on my nails. Nail Envy is the place to go. I've been going for a few years now and always get excellent service. The prices are fair and quality is very good. I always go for pedicures and come out feeling refreshed. I like the choices you have on how much you would like done with the price adjusted accordingly. I walked in for a pedicure without an appointment but got seated right away anyways. The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly. My pedicurist did a great job on my neglected toe nails, paid attention to detail and my toes look great now! My gel manicure was great until I noticed all the bubbles in the clear nail polish at the end of the service! It was a waste of $40. :(

We made an appointment to have Manis and pedis. We arrived right on time and the guy that was working there told us it would be a 20 min because he was finishing 2 pedis. We waited for 1 hour and he was still not done. Will not be going back!!! read more

I can honestly say this is the best place to get pedicures in Paso Robles. This is from a person that has lost toenails after getting pedicures in other locations in the area. My gf made me go to this place with her as a joke turned into a nightmare. A lady named Tracey dug at my toe so bad she cut it then shoved back down in the dirty water it was immediately infected and is extremely painful. Great place! I've been here 3 times for acrylic nails and the first 2 times got the same guy who did my colored square tips perfectly. 3rd time I went in right before Halloween looking for a new style I'd never done. I got someone new this time and I was nervous since it was both a new style and new artist doing my jet black stilettos, but they turned out really well. The guy even saved me some money by drilling, filling & reshaping the acrylics I already had on :) The ONLY negative was that a few hours after I got home the shellac on my left thumb bubbled and peeled away in one spot, but in the artist's defense I had also taken a hot shower directly after I got them done so I cant say it was lack of skill on his part. I will definitely return here :) read more

I used to love to come to Nail Envy. But last week I got a mani with gel polish-- the man who was working on me kept answering the phone (I scheduled a 9am appt)and taking appointments. I was there over an hour! He painted my nails and kept painting my cuticle (FIRST RULE of Gel application is do not touch cuticle/skin with product)!! He seemed rushed and it looked like a 10 year old painted my nails! I left the next morning for vacation and was gone until late Tuesday evening. Two days after my nails were done, my polish was lifting and started peeling off. I went to the salon Friday early afternoon to see if he could remove the remainder of the polish (only 5 fingers left with polish on) and get a refund. He asked me why I didn't come in when it happened. I explained again to him I was on vacation! I asked for a refund and he said all he would do is give me half back...I was shocked. I reminded him it had only been 9 days since my appt and my polish was coming off on day 2. He told me he didn't believe me!! His wife started talking to him in whatever language they speak and I was so irritated I just left! This was not a great experience for me and feel I was treated very poorly! I have been to this salon a dozen times and even bring nieces, mom and friends in when they visit! Never again! Think twice before you go....it was a costly ($27 plus $5 tip!!!) mistake!!! read more

I decided to give this place a try and I'm sad to say my experience wasn't as great as everyone else seems to have. I came for a set of acyrilic nails with gel polish. It was some grumpy older man that gave the impression that he hated his life. Any way to make the story short he misdirected me as to where the gel nail polish was located and then proceeded to use it on the uv rays, it wasn't until he had EVERY single one of my fingers painted and put under the uv for like 3 times that he noticed it was all wrinkled and actually got mad at me and pointed out, saying he wouldn't charge me and I could just leave it like that... seriously!? So I said I'm sorry but I wanted my nails to be pretty. He mad me feel like it was all my fault when it was obviously a miscommunication on his part (and he didmr even say sorry!) So he reluctantly and sort of aggressively grinded the polish off to start over and didn't even let me rinse my hands off with were covered in the nail dust just roughly wiped them with a dirty towel. Which I can still see underneath my 4 coats of nail polish that he had to use in order to cover up his mistake. I tipped him despite the mishap and he was just as rude when I left, not saying thank you or anything. This was also the day after the 4th of July and it was literally like so slow and I spent almost 3 hours in there, and left feeling disappointed. Step up your customer service nail envy. read more

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting in the salon, listening to peaceful music, and enjoying a wonderful pedicure. This is my first time here, and it was by sheer luck. The normal place I go is closed and my sister said she'd heard there was one by Verizon. First thing I noticed was the way they have decorated and set up the salon. Soft, pale yellows and modern furniture make for a very relaxing experience. Plus I love the way they set up the pedicure chairs. Instead of the normal all the chairs being in a line, they're set up more in a semi circle. Very unique and catches your eye right away. Offers for a more private experience then bumping elbows with your neighbor. This was the nicest thing I notice though: everyone here spoke English! I don't mean to come off as racist or a snob, because I love other cultures and appreciate all of them. But I think we can all agree that when you go to get your nails done and they're talking to each other and you can't understand them... We all assume or suspect they're talking about us. Which can make even the most relaxing places unrelaxed. But I love love loved that they spoke to us in English and we never felt like they may be talking about us to each other. It's run by a husband and wife and their son helps them when he's not at school. They are all very warm and pleasant and even though several people came in or called for appointments and such, they never rushed to finish us. They took their time, and made us feel pampered! I have been getting my nails done at Nail Envy for over a year now. Linh had me change from acrylic to gel. What a difference it made for me. My nails are beautiful and no more lifting or splitting. She is such a perfectionist. Linh's husband and son, Sean also do wonderful nails and pedicures. They make you feel very welcome, just like family. Making an appointment is very important because they devote their complete attention to only you while you are there. My husband and I spent a relaxing morning at Nail Envy Spa in Paso Robles and we were both very pleased with the wonderful service. It was my husbands first manicure and pedicure; he has always said no in the past and he was extremely pleased with the personal service her received. He definitely plans on going back with me now that he too is able to enjoy being pampered. After trying various salons from North to South County, I can say I finally found MY place!!! I have been thrilled w/ the services- from the pedicures by Tina & Vicky, to my nail fills & waxing from Linh, who happens to be the owner, & my sister looks forward to the gel manicures by her husband & co-owner, Tin. I am especially impressed w/ the fact that I have only had to make my desires known once as to how I like my nails done...she has remembered since then--nor has she pushed how SHE wants to do them, and neither has pushed extra services....a nice touch compared to many other places I have tried. My appointments are ALWAYS on time; they accommodate me as a walk in, they are always pleasant, sweet & friendly, but most importantly the shop is CLEAN & the instruments are sterile.
