Called in advance for a birthday and set an appointment for 5:45pm I payed for a medium mani and pedi and everything was good with the service until it came to the mani , the man was rushing , lacking any patience, rude remarks the entire service and really brought down the vibe from being pampered to arguing about the length of the nails , the nails ended up being short but still payed for a medium , sharing so you know in advance b4 going , very unappreciated and this was expressed which just led to more rude remarks , needs to care better for people's feelings . read more

I was going to write this nail salon a good review because I initially was happy with how my ombré nails turned out but they BROKE OFF just 1 WEEK after. Mind you I'm basically a house wife so I don't do any hard work with my hands lol so there's no way these should have come off that easily!! I PAID $65 for ombré just for them to BREAK OFF a week after and my nails look ratchet. Ladies SAVE UR MONEY and go to a different salon! Owner did my nails and was nice but definitely over charged for crappy nails.... The owner/manicurist (I think he goes by "Lee") is very cold and unfriendly. I've been to him twice now and he has not once asked me my name, introduced himself or even said hello when I arrived. His wife also works there and neither has smiled or greeted me. You would think they would at least try to be pleasant, but no. Lee filed my acrylic nails extremely square with very sharp corners and when I asked him to please round them slightly, he seemed very put out. I've come here several times and they do a good job but their customer service and attitudes suck. I went in a few days ago for July 4th nails. I wanted red and blue sparkle and wanted them to put solid red or blue under said sparkles so you can't see the nail through it. That's normal. I shouldn't even have to ask. The woman doing my nails hardly spoke English so the female owner helped her. I explained what I wanted to her and she said, "I know, take it easy." From then on, the female owner was very rude. The woman doing my nails wasn't rude but probably because she can't understand any English. I imagine they were talking about me. One of these days, I am going to learn Vietnamese and through them for a loop They also typically rush you and get annoyed if you want something specific on your nails (which is what happened this time). I read the recent reviews and still gave them a chance. I got to talk to the owner as I was getting my manicure/pedicure and realized that they are genuinely struggling to keep their business afloat. The husband and wife duo are having a hard time staffing quality employees, thus stressing while doing it all themselves. The owner isn't the most charismatic person but he does possess over 20 years of experience. If you want exceptional service with a red carpet treatment this isn't the place for you. My sister recommended this place to get our nails & eyebrows done at. I just moved here from out of state and have been looking for a new nail place.. We spent about an hour there doing our nails & eyebrows. The guy that did my nails rushed it, painted over them twice & the color I could tell wasn't fully there. After leaving I realized my nails looked off. I came back the next day and asked for them to be repainted. I paid 100$ in total plus tip. The guy looked so annoyed and said to me " all we can do is paint over it one time " . Okay, fine. He did it so fast, told me to go dry them and sent me on my way. I'm giving 3 stars because the lady that did our eyebrows was on point. I felt rushed, I felt like they didn't care, and he also cut them too short before even asking how long I wanted them. Very rude & unprofessional. Safe to say I won't be coming back here.. if anyone can recommend me a new nail place, please let me know! Walked in and luckily was able to get a chair right away (w/o appointment)... the place is very clean and lots of nail tech. Looked at their prices and they're very reasonable especially for this area. Got a nice 45 min pedicure and my tech did an amazing job on my feet. Recommended it to anyone looking for a nice affordable nail spa. Def make an appointment because it gets really busy and people get turned away. My daughter loved her nails done by angel. I totally forgot about this salon but my daughter never forgot. I recommend you bring cash because they charge 3% Of your bill If you pay by credit card. I Didn't have enough cash when I paid for my daughters and my nails so i had no choice but to pay the 3%. By the way Holly did my nails who was very professional and sweet. She did an amazing job on my nails. I didn't want them too long or too short and she did them just right. I would recommend you show them a picture of what you want. Lisa was amazing! They were able to get me in for an appointment quickly, took off my old nails that weren't from this salon, and made my nails look beautiful! Lisa was gentle, attentive, and took her time perfecting the shape I wanted. They had a nice color selection as well. Right when I sat down, Lisa politely asked if I wouldn't mind using some hand sanitizer prior to her starting on my nails. I think that is so smart, stopping the spread of germs right away. Love both Lee and his wife Lisa. All of the staff are friendly and do great work, nails, toes or brows. I'm always asked where I get my nails done. Seriously. Lee does everything he possibly can to fit everyone in even if they call at the last minute or just walk in no matter what the are asking for. I've had nails for decades and it took me awhile to find a place in Paso that was able to do this great of a job that I have been coming back for years now. So I wanted to write a review because it's hard sometimes to find a nail stylist who is wonderful and I didn't want to give up her name because I didn't want to share. I can always walk in or call in and 99% of the time Angel nails can give me an appointment within the hour, as a walk in and same day appointment no matter who day it is. Angel nails is open later, which works with a busy schedule. They always do a good job and if there is an error they fix it! Lisa is my favorite but they are all good. Plus I love black tip fills and so far Angel nails is the only place that offer it, plus you can't beat the pricing. Love them! Go see Lisa! @ Angel Nails! read more

First and LAST time I come here! This time, it hurt to pay the $90 that they charged me. They put acrylics on two of my nails to even them out for my mani, but they didn't file them the way they should've and they ended up looking away wider and thicker than my other nails. If I could give this nail "spa" a 0 star rating I would! I called on a Wednesday morning to ask what their pricing on eyebrow wax would be and to possibly schedule an appointment. When the owner, Lee answered the phone, he told me to come in now. I asked him what the price was going to be for the service was done, he then proceeded to say, "the price is on bored when you come in, you see price if you don't like price, I don't care". I let him know how rude was and then hung up. This man had the nerve to call me back and argue with me!!!! How unprofessional. I don't understand how they are still in business! Take your money elsewhere. If you're looking for friendly customer service and someone who does a great job, I highly recommend TK Nail over in the Food 4 less shopping center... I called ahead and made an appointment for a pedi. I asked for a deluxe pedi $33. I sit down and the owner/manager or whoever he was began to yell at the woman doing my pedicure to move my seat forward. It wasn't a big deal, he could've said it nicer to her. That already made me feel uncomfortable. Then the woman washed the callous scrubber in the water WHERE MY FEET STILL WERE. She didn't take them out before doing so. She used the sugar scrub for about 30 seconds if that. The deluxe pedi us supposed to come with a 10 minute massage, I got a 4 minute massage. Very dissatisfied with this place and WILL NOT be coming back. Don't waste your money here! The thing is I've been here before and it was okay, this time was just horrible. read more

Now I go every 2 -3 weeks and I absolutely love how they do my nails. Lisa is AMAZING! She pays attention to detail and is so sweet. This place is so close to my house which makes it super convenient to get to. They take walk-ins. I had a very relaxing pedicure and the polish is still on 3 weeks later with no chipping or peeling. The chairs are comfortable, it's extremely clean inside and they line their foot tubs so each time a client is done, the liner is removed and a new one put in. It was quiet inside despite being located in a shopping center. They also have a great selection of colors and even a kids pedicure chair. I recommend this place for sure. read more

Still going to Lee and Lisa! Amazing duo that knows what they are doing. I never feel rushed and they are really friendly. The salon itself is very clean with I think 8 or more pedi stations again very clean! They have a very big selection of colors (of course i.tend to stick to black with some bling somewhere). Which brings me to there diamond selection which is always on point. My cousin got some nail at here which lisa does an amazing job at. Her hearts are very symmetrical. Another thing I like is that they have no problem telling you to wait or accurately how long the wait is (trust me it's worth it). I hate going somewhere and they put you feet in water and leave you for an hour, that doesn't happen here! I like that they ask me what I want and check with me along the way. For example, Lee always checks with me about the shape. Because I get stilleto a lot it doesn't always turn out perfect at to her places but Lee is consistent and hits it out of the park ever time! Also they check with you about the color. We have all been there where the color looks different on your nails rather then in bottle. To put it simple I've tried alot of places around paso and Templeton and I'm happy to say Angel's Nail and Spa is my place! read more

I used to come here three years ago to have Lisa wax my eyebrows (when I lived in Paso Robles), then we had to move... I was so sad to leave Lisa! I have since moved back to Paso Robles, and was so grateful that Angel Nail Spa was still here. Lisa does an amazing job waxing eyebrows. She gives meticulous attention to detail, and is also very quick, clean, gentle, efficient, and super friendly! I also love when she does my manicures and pedicures. She is very creative and we have great conversations. I see her there every time I go in; she is such a dedicated and hard, honest worker! Sometimes my kids (ages three and nine) come with me, and they love her too. She even let my daughter play with her phone to keep her entertained! I got my first "pedi" today at 75 years of age. I decided on Angel Nail Spar, as it's close and has good reviews. I got right in, no problem, no wait. Not that I'm that lazy of an old git, but with the hip bursitis that's been plaguing me lately, as well as being a well-fed 75-year-old, the calisthenics involved in doing it myself does not present a particularly easy task in my present condition. Angel's is very clean, and I have to tell you, it was v-e-r-y nice. Even though it was just the basic pedicure, my tootsies and even lower legs got a wonderfully refreshing spa treatment.
