They butchered both of my friends nails and when I asked for a partial refund so we could go get it fixed I was SCREAMED at and called multiple mean words. I booked this place trying to be optimistic as it didn't have the best reviews. Now I know why, my nails were extremely rushed. I don't think I've ever had a full set with tip and dip done in less than 30 mins. It was very rushed and the quality shows. The colors in their book do not match the numbers very well. I want a light pink nude color and somehow ended with an off pink tan? The only reason I am even giving one star is because I asked her to clip the excess glue off and she did. (Which shouldn't even be there anyways but whatever) read more

Had an appointment at 1pm, had to wait 20 minutes. She rushed through gel mani then while I was drying she went to eat her lunch. Manager told me to sit in pedicure chair. Lady who did my mani said sorry she had another appointment and the man would do my pedi but I would have to wait. I explained I only had 45 minutes since I was seen late. The other person who was waiting was nice enough to allow me to finish the pedicure. It was also rushed, harsh and painful not relaxing at all. I don't expect to have to wait if I have an appointment. I didn't notice any sanitizing of instruments. Long time customers seem to be treated better. I've tried so many nail places in Apollo Beach and have yet to find a decent one. Oh well. read more

It's just not a good week for my nail experiences as I came here to get new color to replace the designs I got yesterday somewhere else. I got the new girl and while I am typically all for benefit of the doubt, she has a very chunky application technique which isn't correct to begin with and doesn't bode well for a matte finish and has made my nails look triple thick and even less smooth than they were before. To top that off, one of the older ladies did my eyebrows which are not even and shaped plus she left wax around the edges. Overall not a location I'll return to unfortunately. read more

I will never be back here. I went with a friend as a walk in appt, they said they could take us both but we ended up sitting and waiting for about 20 minutes, which is fine, they just didn't say anything and let us sit there at the tables waiting. I got a powder dip "manicure" which was dip only. There was no actual manicure. When I went to pay for it I told the guy that I was paying only for the dip, no manicure. He said that when you do dip you don't do a manicure and that it was $30. My friend got a gel manicure and hers was $28. The prices do not make sense, my nails were a mess, polish all over my skins and cuticles. The next day 5 of my nails are already badly chipped and I will have to get them redone again. Lanie was GREAT! She greeted me as soon as I walked in and (granted they were not busy) she began on my nails immediately. I got a fill-in and gel coat and was out in less than 35 minutes! I loved it. She did cut me by accident when she was filing my nails, but no big deal. I will be coming back! read more

Absolutely atrocious! Customer service is terrible. The nail techs are terrible and their practices are lazy. I asked for a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine not the best French manicure I've seen but not the worst . The nails ...see the pictures for yourself.I'm unsure of what shape you would even call these things at this point. The filing is terrible. she used the drill to cut them down and cracked my index finger. She then refused to fix the nail because she said it was my natural nail line I was seeing underneath not a crack. She left the nail polish on the sides of my nails from my previous color. I asked for pink and white three times she filled my nails with clear acrylic anyway even with me repeatedly asking her for pink and white. She then tried to do a painted French manicure instead ! I literally had to tell her pls just paint my nails clear so I can leave. Absolutely terrible don't waste your money I now have to go spend more money for a full set because this set is trashed and this was the first fill on this set ! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Went for a toe nail trim only customer in place no greeting at all. Finally spoke up said i needed toenail trim no one even looked up from their phones or said anything all all just pointed at a chair. After a few minutes came over with clippers that were used before. Started trimming and with in 2 minutes i was bleeding from 3 toes one of which was running down my foot. She finished in another 2 minutes and pulled a used piece of cotton out of her pocket and dabbed at the blood twice and said that will be $10. Had to walk to my car barefoot so as not to get the inside of my shoe bloody. Can't believe any one would ever go here. read more

I came here to get my eyebrows done and I'm not sure if the wax was too hot or of the strip was on my eyebrows for too long and got some of my skin but it left me with scabs under my eyes. I didn't get my money back. They told me it'll be fine by the next day but it's day 4 now and it's even worse. read more

My girlfriend came here to get her eyebrows waxed. I waited in the front while she got them done. On the way in, I noticed a donut by the curb baking in the sun, which of course could have been left there by anyone. But when I went to sit down I noticed a small Asian shrine on the floor by the counter with another donut, crusty styrofoam cup and a melon of some sort by it! Worse, we're all the ants on the floor that in sure these food items were enticing. I'm writing this while I wait for her and hope they do a good job with her eyebrows although if they don't, it will certainly seal the deal not to ever have to come back here again. I'll let her comment on her service. So the waxing was ok. I didn't have a picture of what I wanted my eyebrows to look like but based in the above comments and the fact that the room where they do the waxing could have used a cleaning as well I think I'll say I tried the place and move on to the next. read more

had a pedicure and manicure, no gel. no cuticle attention, quick manicure rushing to polish, quick pedicure ending up with a bleeding toe. tools were not autoclaved, just pulled from a drawer or basket and briefly sprayed with something. files were not new but well used. would not recommend! read more

Employee was not trained in nail work. Did not clean nails with proper tools and nails ended up ragged from improper filing as well. Paint was on my skin on both hands and feet. For anybody who gets their nails done at Nail Experts & Spa 6166 US-41, Apollo Beach, FLnext to the old Winn-Dixie, I wanted to share that my daughter got her manicure and attempted pedicure there last night. They cut her toe pretty badly and she bled quite a bit for which I don't have pictures. They treated her toe there to the best of their ability and I picked up my daughter. I went in to ask what happened and the manager explained how it happened. She said my daughter moved while she was using "the cheese grater tool" (my words) and was cut. I asked her if my daughter paid for services there this evening and she told me no. After talking to my daughter in the car she told me that she still had paid for her manicure. I returned to the shop today about 430 and spoke to the same female manager and I told her that I considered it bad business practice to take my daughters's money for having lopped off part of her flesh. As you can probably imagine, the attempt at civility on my part was quickly challenged by money grubbing ignorance. The gentleman there was very kind and understanding but the female manager was quick to tell me to sue her, and when I told her my daughter would never come back here again, she said good, all while she had several customers receiving services there. I don't know about you guys, but do you think you should pay for services after they literally remove flesh from your body? I told her I was embarrassed for her business practice and ashamed as well. She told me she was embarrassed for me. I teach high school at East bay and wouldn't do anything to threaten my reputation of civility and professionalism, which I had attempted with this establishment. So I left and took a picture and I'm sharing this experience because I'm not proud to say they are part of our community. read more

I have been pretty happy with the service. I find they usually have adequate staff on and although I usually make an appointment I have had a few times when I needed a nail fixed or color change and they fit me right in. They have 7 pedicure stations and 8 nail stations so adequate for the area. Always have movies on which is nice when you are there for awhile. Prices are good and lots of parking and very conveniently located. read more

I love this salon....I go to Didi and she is terrific...she is great with the massage and since I have sever arthritis she always asks me first where I hurt and works at making it a wonderful experience. I have never had to wait very long if I don't have an appointment and she is always glad to do a little extra with decorating my nails for holiday and such.
