I gave this place a second shot because one of my friends recommended it and i'm so glad I did! I walked in for my appt at exactly 2pm and sat down immediately! Erin was my nail tech and he understood exactly what I wanted and even guided me through the colors and ensuring I liked every step. Staff is awesome and I LOVE my nails! I did not read reviews before going in but should have. I just popped in for a quick pedicure but will never go back. Minimum for pedicure is $30 before tip and they have about 3 options. I picked the 2nd level and it was mediocre at best. Paint job is not even! Check out photo. $40 bucks for this? Salon seems stuck in a weird time warp. Music, decor, cleanliness, etc all struck me as odd. Salon has a strong odor like salons of the 90s. No thanks! They also do not offer any common colors you'd expect bc they do not offer OPI or Essie brands. read more

The first time I went to get my nails done, I got them done for ball and i was not too happy because they messed up the design I wanted but they still looked decent for the price. The next time I went back was to get gel nails for a wedding and they looked absolutely awful and I told the nail tech to redo them but she refused and said they would look better at the end. For what I paid I was not happy with the final product. My mom took me back the next day and they redid them for free with a different color but they were splotchy because the new nail tech didn't fully take off the gel that was on my nails before. I took my daughter to have her acrylic nails removed. Instead of soaking them and drilling them down, they stuck a fake nail under each one and popped them off causing pain and for her natural nails to rip and bleed. Disgusting for a professional nail tech. And then whispering to her friend and then offering a free nail painting to cover her mistake. I'm sickened and will not be going back. read more

Posting this immediately after my nail appt. I'm really dissatisfied in my nails. I have no artistic abilities but I could've done them myself at home and they would look the same and/ or better, which says a lot. The first girl doing my nails had no idea what she was doing . She had to have another girl come over to do the designs that I wanted and was willing to pay for , and they still don't even look up to par for "salon quality". The more I look at them the more mad and upset I get that I paid $40 for this. Embarrassed actually. I won't be coming here anymore because they don't seem capable of doing anything besides a basic color which a 5 year old could do for free. Sad. Do not recommend. I went there and asked for ombré long coffin acrylics and I got gel color short coffin acrylics that look terrible and embarrassing. She also got glue all over my skin and I've been peeling it off since I got them done. Clearly they sit there and talk about you in their native language which is extremely disrespectful. Update: I went to their salon for about a year. I have since switched salons. While this salon is still incredibly affordable there is a few things I would note..The nail artists are all VERY different. While all of them (but one) were great. There was one nail artist who was just awful, rushed through my nails and I always had issues after having her do my nails. I also had contracted fungus 3 times in my time there. While it's not a huge deal since it grows out and is easily treated, its still frustrating they can't use cleaner products. For those reasons, I left. read more

I go to nail expo because they are affordable and there gel polish it beautiful. But the nail it self look terrible no full set should be showing your real nail on the side when u look at them. I'm a good customer and I've been patient with them but this last gel set I got it terrible I missing my side of my nail. They lady who did my nails were in a hurry for other business I understand that but to leave my nails like this make me not want to come back bit i still do. My nails should bubble either or chip where the cuticle is and mis sing on the side they don't understand me and don't understand them so I go on my way. I've gotten nails like this before but ni this bad. Basically waisted good money on this "gel set" I tip amazing I'm a easy customer but to have nails like this shouldn't happen i would like my nails to be fixed . but I doubt that would happen. read more

The worst manicure I've ever had. I've been looking for a place that does nice dip-powder (ANC) Polish because my normal salon only has a few colors. I had heard good thing about Nail Expo so thought I would give it a try. It was fairly busy for mid week so I was encouraged that it was such a popular place. The technician I had was so busy doing other things and worked so fast on my hands that she cut me 4 times: once with the regular file and three times with the rotary file. I've had the dip powder done other places an the finish was so smooth--Iike glass. Not so much at Nail Expo. As you can see in the picture, the finish is uneven and bubbled. I'd love to ask them to fix it but I'm not about to subject myself to that pain again. Once these cuts heal, I'll be shelling out the cost of another manicure. read more

So i have been coming to nail expo on and off for years, it's hit or miss and once the techs get used to you they rush through your nails, make them look like shit or laugh when they don't look the way they are supposed to. I spent 120$ there a week ago, full set of nails turned a nasty orange color in 3 days, went back for them to fix them and the owner Cindy tried to leave me with mid matched nails. I've gone to this salon for 6 maybe 7 years and I'll never go back. The quality went downhill and obviously so did the cleanliness because I got AN INFECTION AND INGROWN NAIL FROM A PEDICURE! !! 10 painful days on augmentine and epsom salt soaks 3 times a day. Never in my life have I've ever gotten an infection from any service. I showed the owner my foot and she apologized and said it would never happen again and said she'd take care of me. It was a new girl that did the service and was really sorry and so on.. Ive been going there for years and prior to that and I was pretty happy so once I was recovered I went back. Never to that girl again,but I gave the salon the benefit of the doubt. Plus this is bville and the rest of the salon options suck here so I was a little more forgiving. Truth be told I didnt want the next pedicure but it was offered as an "im sorry" service ,or so I thought. They actually charged me for the pedicure at the desk and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Mind you when I told the owner about the infection she never even offered to pay for my urgent care visit and antibiotics which really upset me since they're supposed to be fully insured. I assumed at the very least the next service would be on the house. At this point I couldn't take the bills in and just paid for the "I'm sorry we gave you a disease pedicure",so I guess I'm the idiot for giving them the second chance that I did. So I'm on a mission to find anothet salon because I will not be returning. As for the comment that they talk about you....yes they do. Try opening the google translator when you sit there.
