I got a manicure and pedicure done for my birthday. The pedicure was amazing for 30 dollars, however the regular nail polish pedicure I received has not even lasted a week. I got this manicure on the 20th, it is now the 25th. Not very impressed at all.

I am very disappointed and upset with the service and finished look. My mother and I went in, 5 minutes early to our appointment by the way, and we were unsure what color we wanted and while browsing the colors they told us many times to hurry and pick a color so i already felt uncomfortable and definitely not relaxed. We only took a few minutes to look at colors and I will say my massage was good but my moms was not and was very rushed so that they could start on her finger nails. They know how long it will take so we were frustrated she didnt have a real pedicure with massage. All of my toe nails were cut so so short and now are painful growing back. (photo included). While they did my moms finger nails they stoped and asked her to pau before they put the nail polish on... As if we were going to run out and said they would not proceed until we payed which is just silly, then the total was 30$ more than it should have been based on their website, it was also more expensive then THEIR OWN MENU SITTING THERE, they said they just upped their prices and had not picked it yet. That is ridiculous to me that as a business if you have prices posted you honor them but we were so tired of the crap by than so i paid and they finnished and we left very unsatisfied. Her finger nails look half assed and over the next 3-4 days the ACRYLIC (!!) nail was separated from her real nail and i have never ever seen that happen.

I love this place they are all very nice the gentleman does a fantastic job on my set of nails and I can't tell you how amazing Anna is on always giving me the design I want !!! Got a classic pedi and mani the other day for the first time at this establishment got there and was rushed to pick a service when I did I got asked 5 times in the span of 20 minutes am I sure I don't want gel or acrylic nails after saying no the first time. got in the chair for feet woman half assed my service. then when I went to get my nails done got asked again you sure you don't want gel or acrylic like yes I am very sure. women went way too fast on my nails because when I under the dryer my nails were streaky, lumpy, and not all the way done. And to top it off the only reason I went to them is because they had a deal for first comers and paying with cash. The woman didn't put the deal on there and messed up my transaction 3 time and after that she finally got it right. read more

When I walked in I noticed this place was pretty dirty but I was absolutely desperate to get my nails done being that I am traveling and rarely get the chance to get my nails done on the road. I'm glad I stayed bec. the older guy did a great job on my acrylics and nice job on my gel color. Not much in the personality department but who cares? Great place for a quick pedicure. They were efficient and easy to understand. I usually always go with my mom and some places they make one of us wait almost an hour to get ours while the other goes. This place got both of us in and out and let us sit next to each other. Also the price is better than most salons. read more

AMAZING. I love this place so much, I come monthly for pedicures and the occasional nail dip. They are extremely clean, and professional. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I have went to a lot of salons in the BG area and I am amazed to how BG Nails express takes their time and pays attention to every detail while doing a service. If you're there for a long toke it's because you're waiting to be seen it's bc they will sit there and perfect every detail. It's pretty amazing. Also as far as pedicures go there's a woman that will give you the massage of your life. I don't know her name but I call her goddess hands. read more

MY NAILS WERE DISINTEGRATED AND MY CUTICLES COMPLETELY BURNED!!!! During my pedicure, my hands were put in ziploc bags with what was supposed to be cuticle softener. After 10 min. my hands burned so badly that I took the bags off. At the manicure chair, the woman started scraping with a cuticle scraper. Instead of scraping cuticle, she scraped away my nails. The bag had been filled with callous remover and completely turned my nails into jelly. I had to have fake nails placed on top of my tissue paper thin nails so that my hands were useable. My fingernails were throbbing and my cuticles were red and burning. My nails are now ruined until a completely new nail grows back in. AND they had the audacity to try to charge me for the pedicure!!! They are LUCKY that I just walked out!!! PLUS, they still use a razor for their pedicures which I was recently told is now illegal... read more

Nails Express was a horrible experience. If you are afraid of foot fungus stay away. This is a very dirty place. They do not properly clean and disinfect their pedicure tubs. They sat me in a foot tub filled with very dirty water from previous customer. I waited to tell someone but they forgot about me and took another customer while I sat there waiting for someone to do my nails. Needless to say I was not sticking around. I talked to others after who said they will not go there anymore because they felt it was unsanitary. Horrible customer service as well, they acted like they didn't even care that they were providing such horrible service. All I got from the manger was "sorry it wasn't fun for you." WTF..... really!!!!! read more

They are recently under new management, yet the service is still pretty poor. I got shellac on my fingernails and he got it all on my skin and left my thumb nail jagged. After a week the shellac had already started peeling off. Definitely way better options in Bowling Green for the same price. read more

I have always been a costumer to this particular nail salon and I have never experienced anything like what this other customer did. They always place my feet and hands into the ziplock baggies and nothing happens to my nails. Plus, fake nails ruin your nails. So, that probably didn't help you at all. These people always do a GREAT job. As I've said, I've been going to this nail salon for about 4 years now. I've never experienced anything like that. I'd charge you for the pedicure too. read more

We called ahead asking if they had availability and were told to come in. When we arrived, I was directed to the back... and then left standing there with no guidance. There didn't seem to be any communication between the front and the back, so I just stood awkwardly until someone eventually noticed me and pointed me to a seat. Throughout my visit I watched multiple customers standing around confused about where to go or who to check in with. A simple "we'll be right with you" or a quick instruction would make a huge difference. I was handed a book and told to pick a color. Only later did I learn that the colors in that book cost extra -- something no one mentioned up front. I had chosen the most basic pedicure and certainly wasn't expecting added charges just to choose a polish color. I also asked for polka dots on my toes (I came in with them, so it was clear what I wanted). The first time I asked, the nail tech just stared at me. After she finished the base color, I repeated the request, and she nodded... but then continued without doing them. By the time she was finishing up, I stopped her again to ask, and she still didn't do them. If staff members are unsure what a customer is asking for, someone should jump in and assist -- especially since multiple employees could hear me. My daughter asked for a full set. One tech started, then told her to sit and wait for someone else to finish. After my services were done, we sat at the front and watched two walk-ins (who openly said they had no appointment) get seated immediately, while my daughter continued waiting. After 15 minutes -- and already being there for over two hours -- she decided she would just go elsewhere. Only when we stood to pay were we told she'd be "next," but by then we'd had enough. To top it all off, one of my fresh nails cracked on the side before we even left, and my daughter's shaping (from the little that was done) looked uneven. Then I was charged extra for the polish color I didn't know carried an additional fee -- and I still didn't get the design I asked for. There are too many salons in the area to settle for inconsistent communication, surprise charges, and work that doesn't hold up. I hope they improve, but for now, we'll be going elsewhere.

Two days prior to discharge, my Mom was excited about going home; however, she was embarrassed that her hair had not been cut and styled in a number of weeks. I called two local salons asking if any stylists would be willing to come on site to Sky Rehab to cut and style my Mom's hair. Unfortunately, the first two salons I spoke with (by phone) thought my request was somewhat odd, they were short on the phone, and unable to assist. Fortunately, my third call was to Bella Salon & Spa. The receptionist I spoke with was very cordial. I quickly explained the situation and made my request. I then overheard the receptionist repeating my "odd request" to a room full of stylists. Fortunately, I heard a "I'll do it" and the phone was handed to Callie. I quickly explained the situation and my request to Callie. She very quickly agreed to assist. I wanted to make sure I had enough cash to pay for the service and tip, so prior to hanging up, I ask for the total charge amount and she said "it's free, I want to help your Mom feel beautiful." We worked the out details for Callie to come to Sky the next day (a Friday) at 3:30 PM. Around lunch, Callie texted me that she was running behind and would likely be 15 minutes late. Callie arrived on site at 3:40. I greeted Callie at the Sky front door and escorted her to the courtyard where my Mom was seated in her wheelchair. Callie was so sweet to my Mom treating her like a VIP client - asking how she was doing, talking about my Mom's grand kids and wanting to make sure her hair was cut and styled exactly how she wanted it. Once Callie finished, she gave my Mom a hug and I gave her a very nice tip as I escorted her back to her car. This was Callie's last style for the week and she could have easily passed on the request to go home early to spend time with her two sweet kids. I will forever remember and be grateful for Callie's generous act of kindness.
