They suggested powder/dip nails, which I was open to, but I'll be honest the process kind of threw me off. They dipped my whole finger into the powder and reused it, which made me a little uneasy. I didn't see anything that reassured me it was being sanitized, so that part didn't sit right with me. My nail tech, Talia, did take her time, and I appreciated that she wasn't rushing. I also liked that they used a tool to make sure all the nails were even and consistent, that attention to detail definitely showed. That said, I wasn't a fan of some of their pricing and options. Charging an extra $5 just for coffin or stiletto shape feels a bit much, especially since most places include that. They also don't seem to offer or advertise more modern/trendy styles like duck nails. As for the final result... my nails honestly look like press-ons. It's just not my style, so I know now that dip powder isn't for me. Overall, the vibe and service were good, but between the sanitation concerns, pricing, and the end result not being what I like, I probably wouldn't come back for nails. I might give their pedicures a try in the future though.

One of the tips was placed crookedly- the technician noticed and redid it. It takes me forever to decide on a color. My sister (who was with me) recommended I don't go with my usual beige tones and do an ombré nail. Well, I'm not a fan of pink and all the options she showed me were. The first round; the technician did clear- didn't look good. No questions, no comments, she redid it with the beige color I chose, added the ombré again, and it was perfect. Ever since the first time I went, Ping and Michael have remembered me by name! I always get a specialty pedicure (usually the Green Tea) because of bad calluses (I know-TMI) and they do an amazing job. Usually Michael does my pedicure but everyone there is great. One of my biggest pet peeves is people talking on their cell phones while getting my pedi. Since they have a loyal client base, this rarely happens and, for me, it makes all the difference! Long story short, someone here ripped the nails off and it damaged my nail bed. She also sneezed on me without a mask and said it was allergies, but her prescription antibiotic for pneumonia/conjunctivitis was on the counter. And then I got super sick -which is honestly the most annoying thing to me besides my nails looking horrific for two weeks..and paying more than I expected for a bad take down. I wouldn't go back, but I don't do like long pretty nails, my friends love the designs and all that so they love it there.
