I've had a lot of pedicures, and I know that some are better than others. Maybe there are some good manicurists here, but it was my first (and last) visit. No question this was the worst pedicure I ever had. Guy acted like he had never done one before. He literally scraped skin off my toe and then proceeded to spray alcohol on my feet. Pretty good. I came without an appointment and they squeezed me in, but the team let me know they were accommodating me every step of the way. I felt like I was being an inconvenience and offered to go somewhere else multiple times when I realized that not having an appointment was an issue but they said no. I got a full set. I can't say enough great things about Nail Fever & Spa. My best friend got married in the Tucson area last week, and we needed to find a nail salon to accommodate a group of four. We were all coming from out-of-town with no idea where to start. This salon was one of the closest to the airbnb where the wedding party was staying, and the reviews looked great. When we arrived, we were promptly helped at the start of our appointment time, and all four of us gals were able to get our pedicures done at the same time. There were a lot of DIY wedding elements, so we all opted to upgrade our nails to gel at the last minute to avoid chipping them in the 48 hours before the big day. 10 days later, and our nails all still look great. My best friend, the bride, had very brittle and thin nails, and she was incredibly worried about how they would look on the wedding day. The nail artist she was working with did a set of dip nails for her, and they looked so wonderful in photos. Everyone was friendly, and we were so happy with the salon itself as well as our mani-pedis. If I am ever back in the Tucson area again, I will 100% go back to Nail Fever & Spa. I highly recommend them for wedding parties, and for anyone looking to give themselves a little treat! read more

I highly recommend this place l, it is family owned and all employees speak English. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. I've been going to this establishment for I'd say a good 10 years . The owners run a professional clean and up to date business. They are current on all of the nail trends, colors and fashions. The color selection is amble. Karen is always helpful to Accommodate me with my challenging schedule. For years, I've struggled with terrible allergies, Karen was able to create a cocktail which allowed me to still have gorgeous nails. Worse manicure ever. My nails were so over filed they still hurt 3 hours later. At first glance I thought they looked ok so I didn't say anything. But when I got to the car I realized that most of my nails were too short (I had 2 broken ones that easily could have been repaired but instead the nail tech decided they'd look better shorter. I have been a client for over a year and can honestly say I've been beyond impressed with the level of service, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere at Nail Fever. This did not change a bit when Covid hit! Nail Fever opened back up strong with many expensive upgrades to promote social distancing such as plexiglass at every station and between pedicure chairs. Hand washing, sign up sheets, and temperatures taken were immediately instituted to keep everyone safe. I receive compliments all the time on my beautiful gel nails. I opt for the French manicure and am always impressed that Alex can paint the white on perfectly with 1 stroke of his brush! The pedicures are always relaxing, professionally done, and long lasting! However, the biggest compliment of all comes from my 88 year old mother, who I also bring with me for her manicures! This lady is one tough customer and does not part with her money very easily. She GLADLY does when Karen takes care of her nails! Her hands look lovely and she constantly admires them! Thank you Karen and Alex for making us feel so special and beautiful during this horrible Covid time! At 3:30 the gal that was playing with her baby came out, bringing her baby with her, and plops her down in the chair next to me. The baby cried the whole time. Very unprofessional! I must say the facility is clean and the decor is inviting, however, this is hands down the WORST (gel) manicure & pedicure I've ever had in life! My 9 year old daughter does a better job painting my nails. difficult to communicate with the tecnichian due to the language barrier. There was no care taken to remove excess polish from my toes or fingers. I had to request that he clean up the extra gel from around my fingernails. Getting into my car I noticed my toenails and was livid! They looked more as if I had been kicking around dirt than a fresh pedicure. I turned on my heals back into the salon and had to have all 10 toes painted over. NOT WORTH A PENNY OF THE $65 cost. Save yourself the headache. read more

I was attending a conference at the nearby Loew's Ventana Canyon resort and didn't want to pay their astronomical prices for a mani/pedi so my husband found this salon for me and made an appointment. I have stopped wearing polish for a while just to get my nails healthy again (especially toes as they are always polished; hands hardly ever) and the nail technician did a great job. The salon is clean and modern and has a lot of free parking in the lot. The nail tech did the pedicure in the spa seat and I enjoyed a current Star magazine (love the trashy stories!) while she did a great job on my toes which included a calf exfoliator (and massage) in addition to the lotion massage. She then buffed my toe nails as I wanted no polish and cut my toenails short like I like them and which I hardly ever get at my home salon (unless I cut them myself and then the nail techs laugh at me because they're cut so badly). Two weeks since the mani/pedi and both my feet and hands still look really good. For the mani I was moved to a chair and again the nail tech did a good job on my cuticles and cut my nails short. The cuticles are just starting to come back after two weeks and my nails are clear and look very good. The technician didn't talk a lot but was pleasant which was fine with me. The total was $45 but considering the buffing and exfoliation (which I'd pay extra for) it was a reasonably priced mani/pedi and well done. Definitely way cheaper than having at the resort and I like to give local businesses their due. read more
