He has such an artistic eye and always nails exactly what I'm looking for (and usually makes it even better than I imagined). Giancarlo may actually be one of my longest relationship. He's been doing my hair for almost two decades, which is basically the beauty equivalent of a golden anniversary. It takes a wildly talented stylist--and saint-level patience--to keep me looking presentable all these years while putting up with my nonsense. I show up for my appointment, looking like I lost a fight with a leaf blower. Giancarlo greets me like royalty, offers me a beverage, and this hair sorcerer works his magic. Sure, sometimes I wish he could speed things up--but with his many, (yes, GC, I said it) years of experience, he reminds me great hair takes time and isn't a drive-thru service. He's always up to date on new techniques and trends, so I leave looking like a much-improved version of myself--basically the "after" photo in a makeover session. And Revival Hair Salon? Gorgeous and professional. Perfect lighting (aka free Instagram filter), sleek equipment, and a vibe that says, "you're cooler than you actually are." My only disappointment? My hairdresser is Stephanie. I have been going to her now for over five years. I was happy when she changed salons and moved to this one. It is always clean. The people are always friendly. Everything is very professional however, as I said, the people are friendly and welcoming. One of the things I do like about this salon is its location. I can stop in at Whole Foods and get a few things. I can pick up pet food at the Petco. There's a Walgreens there. There is a QT across the street so I find the location very convenient. As I said, however, the salon itself is always clean. The people are always friendly and professional. I have never had any problems with them and I have been going to my particular stylist Stephanie for years now. read more

With Giancarlo it wasn't nice he had so many appointments and didn't take his time to make sure all his guests are satisfied with the hair color, service we're asking for and what we want. There was all kinds of color on my hair still. Showed a picture of what I'm looking for. I know it will take a few appointments but I don't see myself going back because of my first experience. Had blonde, ash, grey, silver, brown colors I don't like. There's still this brown hair still there. He didn't even do the lowlights just left it. He doesn't make enough time for each guests.... To finish his appointments more of what he has time for. Does everything so fast scared of getting hurt in his chair and even hair cutting etc.... It's scary sitting in his chair. He does everything so fast because he has multiple guests to work on in a day. One of his guest sitting on his chair, his other guest is sitting somewhere else after he dye their hair, This is my first appointment with him not going back. Ask for something similar to what I'm use to. But this is what the colors turned out to it's horrible! The last picture is what I'm looking for. Even if there was lowlights and highlights would have been perfect but he didn't takes his time on each guests he just does everything quickly and fast.... I asked for this color I use to have but this is what it turned out to be on the left. This extra light blonde color is what I'm looking for. But the other pics is what the color turned out into it will take a few times but not going back in his chair. He doesn't take his time to make it look amazing and give his guests a wow experience like what I'm used to. I'm not going back to him. Cost $570 something but it's not even great colors it looks like any hair color I've seen. This guy was even rude! Probably because he's overbooked too many guests on his appointment's. I don't mind if it turns out the wow experience I would spent more but I don't see that. read more

OK, so I did a hair reboot since the pandemic and was introduced to Revival by my wife, who went there last week and loved it. So, they style hair for both men and women, so I gave them a shot. Yea, I'm happy. Totally going back happy. Loving the staff, the vibe, and the jam of the place. What's not to like? First, I had my hair washed with a nice and relaxing scalp massage. Then, while waiting for my stylist, Corrine, I enjoyed a very tasty mimosa. Yes, you read that correctly. There are other beverages that they offer, but how can you say no to a Thursday afternoon mimosa? I mean, really. Corrine expertly cut and styled my hair, paid attention to detail of the cut, and we had a great conversation throughout. I am thoroughly happy and impressed with every aspect of Revival. I, of course, booked my next appointment and see returning their often in the coming months and years. read more

My experience at Revival has been superb in every respect and at the center of it is the expertise of Giancarlo. I began seeing him 6 months ago on a friend's recommendation. In short, his cuts and color are absolutely superb (in the same league as some amazing stylists I've had in both California and Washington D.C.). Although I have short, layered hair and his cuts hold their shape longer. But, most important is that he cares about "hair health". I normally have great hair, but to make a long story short, between wrong shampoo and too hot blow drying, I'd been frying my hair. And, unlike the previous stylist I'd gone to in Tucson, Giancarlo immediately recognized, diagnosed and recommended ways to repair and grow out of the mess. Following his advice, the change is very obvious. I am so grateful! In addition the overall vibe of Revival is very nice, offering a choice of beverages which in my experience is not necessarily a given. They offer a complimentary glass of wine or mimosa with your service. They are located in a busy shopping plaza so sometimes parking can be scarce. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to find a spot so that you're not late to your appointment. Stephanie has been my go to girl for hair for a while now. She does a beautiful balayage on my hair that helps me keep my hair low maintenance while not appearing that way. Stephanie is always happy to hear any ideas I have for my hair and gives really great in depth consultations. I would highly recommend her to everyone that I know for their hair needs! This salon is also beautiful and clean. They have many professional and quality hair products in their retail area to choose from to maintain your look! read more

Came on time for my appointment, got greeted by everyone except the stylist never came so I left. 30 minutes AFTER my appointment she then calls telling me about a delay, and blames her previous client for coming in late?? Any decent hair stylist would know this is the reason why late/cancellation fees exist.. if you can't complete a service because someone is late and it effects the next client, you're supposed to decline and take a late fee. It's not professional to tell someone about a delay 30 minutes after a first time appointment, and this was my only day off I scheduled this thing way in advance, but last second had to go to a different salon who pulled through for me. the interior of this place is nice which is probably the only good thing , but as a first time client my experience was terrible and inconvenient. read more

While the salon seems to have a good ambiance and presentation, the service with Carina S was quite poor. She was 17 mins late, I felt rushed and quite unhappy with the haircut, it felt a total waste of money. I would not recommended her at all. read more
