I am very pleased with my service. It's difficult to find a nail salon that doesn't treat you like a number. Not only do they remember me, my nail tech knows how I like my nails done. Awesome Mother's Day pedicure with my two girlfriends. They had extra staffing and were really kind. Nothing was uncomfortable or painful. It was amazing. They use tub liners and freshly sealed, new pumice stones and tools. One of us got the basic, I had the middle and the other friend had the high end spa pedicure. We all looked great! Walking in, the first impression was great. Large, roomy, new. The pedicure chairs were very comfortable as well. However, the nail technician I had was a disappointment regarding my standard mani/pedi. It seemed like he had little training, if any at all. I ended up with polish on my cuticles on my feet and hands, and had to ask him to paint my nails twice, because the first time looked so bad. My friend was with me, and neither of us got a hand massage with the regular manicure, her paint job was fine, though. There are plenty of places to go to for nail services in Lake Nona with slightly lower prices and better service, and I will not be returning here. read more

These ladies seemed to know what they are doing...and they were very nice. I am new to the area, and have been looking for a place that takes cleaning their tubs and instruments seriously. When I learned they use the plastic tub liners for pedis, I thought I would give it a try. My nail tech (Vee) did a very good job, and her English is better than most! My lingering question is this: even though the plastic tub liners are used, the water is still swirling and circulating through the jets--and my concern is that bacteria and fungus are still present even though they say they do a "terminal clean". That would mean filling the tubs up and and running a powerful disinfectant through the tubs for at least 10 minutes-- I didn't see that happen when my pedicure was finished. The files and buffers were not brand new...they had been used on a previous client. The "autoclaved" instruments were already opened, so who knows if they had been opened for a week...or just before I showed up? Lots of smoke and mirrors, just like every other salon in the U.S. I have seen news reports where people lose part of their toes/legs/ and/or end up with a serious infection. I wish these salons were better regulated, because I love getting pedicures. I just want to know that I am not going to be sitting in the chair that has the horrible bacteria swirling in the jets...but there is really know possible way of knowing. All salons should be monitored by the department of health, just as restaurants and hospitals are regulated--and they should also be rated for their cleanliness as restaurants are!!! The bottom line is this: The Nail Garden is an adequate place to get your nails done, however, every time we sit in one of these pedi chairs and have our toes done, it's like a game of Russian Roulette... read more

I am currently going through chemo and was in the process of losing my nails from the treatment. I took my mom to Nail Gaden when she was visiting from out of town. She always visits the Nail Garden and is remembered and welcomed as if she was family. I told Nance I wouldn't be able to get my nails done and showed her the brown, detaching things that were my nails. She quickly told me she would take care of them. While my mom had her manicure she trimmed back all the dead, detaching nail then soaked them in hot salt water. Next, she brought out a large stem from an aloe plant and rubbed my fingers with the aloe. She sent me home with this aloe and specific instructions on how to take care of my nails so that when they grow back they are healthy. Even offered to give me aloe whenever I need it. They took such good care of me and all without a charge. read more

Horrible! Stay away from here if you don't like overpriced bad nail jobs while employees are very rude. They just want to make money off of you and don't care about anything else. They pushed a foot massage on my mom and I and ended up charging us 25$ for each foot massage for only 15 minutes. Plus my toenail painting was already chipping before I left. Horrible experience! Made an appointment for Dip and a pedicure only to sit and wait. I had to ask that they at least put the acetone on my nails before they finally got to my pedicure. She barely wet the cotton so after an hour and a half I wasn't even close to having the old come off. On too of the horrible service and attitude it s only 5 days later and my nails have chipped and cracked. Avoid this place!!! read more

Subpar. Expensive for what you get. I was charged for a deluxe manicure but didn't get a paraffin or a hand massage after the gel polish. Technically ok, Owner (the man) is very sweet. But each time I go I am disappointed and always feel like I paid more than what it was worth. I don't feel like that at other places. Unfortunately I keep telling myself the next time I go it will be better ( so I don't have to drive and pay tolls) As for other places here on Narcoosee, they are old and dirty except for the Eagle creek one. So it's slim pickins... I'll stick to the place by Eagle Creek. They just seem to do a better job, they are also more consistent in what they offer. read more

Got my eyebrows done today and the woman spent a long time trimming, evening out, and getting it all just right. I've also never had anyone make sure the gel stuff to take the sensitivity and redness away gets in between my eyebrow hair roots. Great job, great result! read more

It was clean, all natural products and a great staff that cares about you. Nancy can arch your eyebrows like a work of art! I happen to live in the apartments right behind the Nail Garden, making my travel time very convenient! I have been here several times and have always had a wonderful experience. I typically get a gel manicure and I love that there are so many colours to choose from. The manicures are quick and turn out great! Most recently Nancy was kind enough to reshape my eyebrows and I could not be happier. I can not say enough about Nancy. She is brow expert!! She ALWAYS takes her time and listens to my needs. I have never had anyone take such time and pride in their work with my eyebrows. She uses this aloe that feels like I'm getting a massage. How is it possible to feel relaxed getting your eyebrows waxed? lol I had to go out of town over Christmas and was not able to see Nancy, but I had to get my brows done. The woman messed my brows up soooo badly!! Nancy fixed them with no problems. I don't know how she did it?! Then after she was done she gave me the BEST pedicure that I ever had in my life. I have been going to Nail Garden for 3 years now. It is the best when it comes to cleanliness, and atmosphere. Unlike any other "typical" nail salon. They tend to be inconsistent with staff, and there is a high turn over. Appointments are hard to understand, and most of the time if you make an appointment, they don't even realize it, and the nail tech you requested is busy with another customer and you have to wait. I chose this place for the cute little butterfly chair for my daughters 1st time at a nail salon. I got an upgraded pedicure and asked for mani/pedi for my daughter. Service was just ok for the upgraded pedi. I expect a nice massage when getting an upgrade & they fell short on this. I would skip it altogether and stick to the regular. My main concern arose when my daughter messed up 2 of her nails waiting for them to dry. I asked for a touch up. I was told ok, someone would be with me but no one ever came. So I said ok, I'm just gonna leave. While paying, I'm guessing the manager asked about the nails & didn't know the person never retouched them. The lady had left. So she called someone else to come up and fix them. The lady first chose the wrong color. I told her it didn't look the same. She took it off and redid with the correct color. The retouched nails looked horrible. I think I could've done a better job. The rest of her nails looked good but I think I would skip coming here again. read more

It was a Thursday evening and my mom and I walked in without appointments and we were seated immediately. We both got deluxe pedicures and we were both seated next to each other. A man did my pedicure and a woman did my mom's. To say that it was the worst pedicure I have ever received is an understatement. I am a nail tech myself and I'm usually not picky at all but I do know how things work. The guy seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He skipped cutting my cuticles and when I pointed it out, he said "later later." Not only was he rough but he was also rude. My moms nail tech was ok but she was rushing cause she wanted to leave early but we came in and the manager asked her to stay to do my moms pedicure. They did not use a pedi liner like most salons I've been to so I don't know how clean they really are when it comes to cleaning their pedi chairs after each customers so I do not recommend this salon. read more

this place needs a little bit more help in the way they treat their clients. I speak for myself when i visited this place for the first time. The Lady who did my pedicure & manicure had a little bit of an attitude with me, the hot water was almost gone so the water on my feet was almost cold. She had to continuously ask me to lift up my feet for her to work on me when she should be telling to relax and put some kind of support so i don't have to be holding my leg up in the air and being scolded by my own tech. I will give this place one more try, if i get treated the same way or the situation does not get better it will be my last. I pay good money to be treated like nuisance, i come from new york city where the service was amazing they treated me like royalty when i got there any thing available at my fingertips with the ability to relax and forget about my troubles. Terrible quality, terrible service!! This is the worst nail salon I have ever been too. I visited twice. Two weeks ago, I visited with four others for 3 manicures and 5 pedicures. For two, the water was burning hot, another cold water. One, a child, had to wait nearly an hour for her pedicure. The cost, nearly $300. However, I loved the nail color and gave them a second chance, since a party of 5 might be hard to handle. Nope, never again! I simply wanted the same nail color since the color had already chipped on several nails and I had pictures in the afternoon. The guy insisted that the color I thought it was, was not accurate and said it was a different color. "Try this color". "You take picture of the color? We have hundreds colors." The color he insisted on was not the color I asked for. He tried adding glitter which made it look worse. Then "you sit there. She help you. I help someone else". Next lady wanted to add a different color, still not the color I wanted. After talking to several people, and being told they can redo but I have to wait because they were busy, I said to just finish the job with the same color. She simply swiped a clear topcoat over splotchy, rough nail color. The color is uneven and rough. She said "You done." I said my nails are rough, bumpy. "You done". She replied and insisted that I was done. "You come back later. We busy." So my nail color is uneven with parts of natural nail color visible, rough with bumps and NOT the color I asked for. The attitude and service is terrible as is the quality of the results. And it cost $30 per gel manicure! Yep, I am done.....done with this establishment. My sister and I came one morning for walk in manicures and pedicures. We were greeted as soon as we came in and went to pick out our colors. My sister did a gel manicure and I got a regular one. My technician was nice but 2 minutes into the manicure I noticed she was speeding through it. The whole thing was over in about 7 or 8 minutes. Then she sat me down under the UV lamp to wait for my pedicure. I noticed that she had another customer waiting and had rushed through my manicure to make her appointment. I wish they had warned me they were expecting an appointment because I would have gone elsewhere. I was annoyed that some of the filing was uneven and my cuticles aren't as cleaned up as I expected. I didn't get the time to check the manicure before she started painting them. My sister was unhappy with her gel manicure as well. It was very uneven. I was left waiting by the UV light for about half an hour before my pedicure began. The pedicure went okay and I'm glad they use liners in the tubs. Overall, I wasn't too satisfied with the experience. The color selection was lacking and for the price I think there are better salons. read more
