I usually don't like to do long reviews however, when I do a review, I make sure that I'm as honest as possible. I initially went to this establishment on Tuesday the 11th, I had to return Wednesday and then again on Friday now today is Saturday and one of the nails has popped off. I only get SNS with an acrylic overlay. I refuse to return for a fourth day. I'm just gonna get these done today somewhere else. Hopefully they'll do a better job than what I have now! The worst !!! DO NOT GO HERE !!! The young lady in the front who looks like a kid was on her phone from the moment I walked through the door. I asked her for a pedicure and a manicure. She never acknowledged me. She never said OK. She kept texting on her phone and then I said hello did you hear me and then she pointed to a chair she never looked up from her phone Then the lady doing my pedicure, cut my toenail so low that it cut my skin. It made me bleed. Then the lady doing my full set, messed up the paint on my nails so bad and only discounted me three dollars and it was the day before my birthday. Worst nail shop ever ! Trust me they cannot do nails ! There is one tech that can and she tried to fix the nightmare on my nails they created . The owner was so rude she seen my nails were horrible and still insisted there was NOTHING she could do to help she was very rude . The lady doing my nails stated no one wanted to do my nails since I looked "high" fashion like what hell does that even mean so they sit me with a lady who does only feet ! So you can only imagine how my nails looked . The lack of empathy the rudeness was beyond me I had her stop doing my nails they couldn't even do a basic French tip ! If you have watched Zoolander, you know how important it is for us fellas to keep our eyebrows looking fresh. Yay, that is right, we have to look studly while doing the "Eye lock or Magnum" So no, I do not get my nails done here, even though that is what this place is known for. The ladies who do eye brow waxing here are excellent, they are all about great attention to detail and make sure you are happy with the look before you leave, or they will fix it. This place is awful..... The nail tech kept rushing me to pick out a color. I was wanting sns dip powder. They only had 2 spindles of sns colors and I didn't like any of them but I was still looking at what was available. I finally said forget about the nails I'm just getting the pedicure ( since I didn't like any color and she was rushing me.) she acted like that was a problem..... Anyways on to the the pedicure; the pedicure was very nice and the tech was good BUT she couldn't do a simple flower on the big toe. One flower design w 3 lines. Also not only her but 3 other techs she asked to do the design said they couldn't. Ummmm this is your profession how the heck do you not posses the skills for your position. I just spent nearly 2 hours in here because they dont know what they're doing with SNS. I asked for 2 colors that looked one way on the display and were completely different colors on my hand. They charged me full price for wasting my time and now I gotta walk around with glitter nails to camouflage the fucked up job they did. I have been to this nail shop about four times for an SNS fill and a gel pedicure. Only one person in the salon knows how to do SNS and when you ask for that person they tell you they are busy and someone else will do it. I've have three other people do my SNS and neither of them knows what they are doing. I was there Wednesday (4/19/2023) and asked for Lee. I was told she was busy but I was willing to wait. Mary did my nails and did a HORRIBLE job. They were very bumpy and the SNS was all over my cuticles. I'd say this place is decent for the price you pay. I wouldn't classify if as wedding quality, but I would say it's good enough to look nice. Closer inspection reveals some paint on the cuticle and skin, bubbling, etc. But then, I only paid $20 for a shellac removal and reapplication. She didn't do a hand massage or soaking or anything. I'm not sure if I had to request that. Also, the salon was completely packed despite how large it is. Maybe that's because Memorial Day weekend is a hella busy weekend. I had Trang who had been doing this 20 years she said. She said she was retired but helping out for the busy weekend. She was nice. It hurt a little when she was removing polish with her nails from the front of my nail skin. My nails are very short. I'd come back if I'm in the area and wanted something cheap. The man at the front desk is rude and racist. They have a sign for the holidays that says free gift with $25 or more service. I saw them giving the gifts out to others customers. So when I asked about one he started talking in his language to the lady next to me then she told me that he said it hasn't started yet. He just didn't want to give out a free gift. I stand behind anyone who has had a bad experience here! They are horrible don't risk it. Go somewhere eles. They should be reported. They are very unsanitary and don't clean tools properly. They offer botched service and there is fungus in there sns powder. They do very little. They offer mani and pedis with no massage and are rude. Fast but attentive service, results that last! I used to live in the Stockbridge area for a short period of time and would always go to Nail Land for my mani/pedi/waxing needs. Since then, I have tried other nail places in the metro-Atlanta area due to the fact that I rarely drive south of Hapeville anymore. If you have read some of my other reviews you may notice an underlying theme--what you get for your money. At Nail Land in Stockbridge you get good service and a great mani/pedi for the price. Other places in metro ATL charge much more and don't deliver (AKA the paint on my toenails has chipped by the next day!) Eyebrow waxing seems easy enough but is a big deal to me when it comes to temperature, timeliness and the lasting result. At Nail Land, the wax is never too hot, the technician is quick but thorough, and the lasting result is no little strays growing back for a couple of weeks! I have been to soooooo many other places that either (1) burn my freaking head off with the temp of the wax, (2) take 30 minutes to wax/pluck my eyebrows which an unnecessary amount of time, or (3) result in eyebrow hair growth two days after the waxing--what the heck? Nail Land in Stockbridge is really only 10 more minutes south of the airport area, so why not give them a try? Saturdays get pretty busy but a visit on a week night may just end up being a pampering, relaxing evening for ya. read more

Although I arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes before they were to close, I was refused service so that they may close on time. This was my favorite salon. I'll be sure to never return. read more

The fact that there is no nail technician licenses displayed worried me. And they were then dumb enough to offer waxing to a licensed aesthetician(me). That was crossing a line. This place is terrible. First of all made an appointment STILL had to wait 20 minutes. Told the girl I wanted pink white ombré, coffin shape, with a hump I hate flat nails. She start doing them I immediately knew they were going to be trash. I kept telling her there was no hump and the nails look like press ons. She used the wrong pink for a black person. Neutral pinks range given the color of your skin tone. She fails to understand this. She talked on her phone the entire time and there's a sign that says don't be on your phone so u won't be distracted and make sure they're doing a good job or something. She was the one on HER phone and did a shitty job. I kept telling her they were ugly she told me wait til she done. Once she finished I told her I still don't like them. She got all sad and long face I told them I wanted them reshaped and painted over. They called someone on the phone I guess the owner and they told them to charge me for my repainting and not to reshape so I ended up paying 55.00 for this bullshit u see below. Literally going to another shop tomorrow so they can fix this mess. That girl need to be fired cuz she trash. These are more like $20 nails. Just horrible. I'll never comeback here. read more

I have had my nails done here several times in hopes that a different nail tech would do better. That is not the case. They do their nails WAY to thick so they look tacky. The last 2 times I've gotten them done I've had one or two nails pop off in less than a week and when I went back for them to fix it they wanted th charge me $10 to do it. Best Pedicure I've ever had! & this is Coming from someone who has lived all over the U.S. Michael (Asian man) didn't speak any English at all and I think he was new but did an amazing job on my feet. Really took the time to care for my feet and turned my rough dogs into pretty clean puppies. Nice massage too! Always ask for him when getting a pedicure, you won't regret it. I've been coming to this location for years and I'm shocked I'm writing this review. I work in the Customer service industry so I try to be as understanding as possible when I'm out. Once arriving, I let the technician know that I would like the style for my sisters wedding and would it be possible to make it short because I type for work. She said okay whilst she was talking on the phone to someone else but when she started to cut the nail it was still long and I tried to let her again that I type for work and it has to be short. Now she tells me that the shape would not look right if she makes it short, so I compromised my style to an almond shape so it can "look right". At this point I'm a bit upset but I'm optimistic of the outcome. However when she did the web I was done and already decided that I was going to another salon and get it done how I would like it. So I left very upset but I came back to give them another chance to make it right. When I told the receptionist, who was very nice and understanding, she said that she will let her know and take care of me right away. From where I was sitting I can hear the technician talk about me in a negative way and have an attitude about the situation. Once hearing her; I got up and her know that it was okay and don't worry about because I was going to go somewhere else. Im giving this place a one star for cleanliness. They're currently under renovations but the real issue are the spa tubs which are stained with nail polish and didn't look clean at all and the floors are filthy. Considering I'm 6 months pregnant I wasn't about to stick my feet in there!! And, even if I wasn't pregnant I still would've walked out. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to I Luv Nails.
