Nice salon but they have screwed up twice with my appointment. They tell me my technician is available and when I get to the salon they tell me she is all booked and that they made a mistake that they will put me with someone else. This is not ways to do business. The manager (not the owner) is incompetent and irresponsible as well she don't know what she is doing and basically tell you to deal with it and turns her back and you to go have a smoke outside. Don't get me wrong there are great technicians like Tammy she is the best. I would never get my eyebrows done at a nail salon but it was my bday so I was desperate. I am so happy I did! Jasmine did a fantastic job because my eyebrows look amazing. She is top notch. The people that work here are really nice! There's no language barrier, which I've experienced at a lot of salons. My issue is the quality. It irks me when they don't paint the whole nail. As I'm getting a pedicure I'm writing this review. Not amazed at all my friend came said it was great wanted to try it out my nail tech pretend to cut my cuticle and looked at me like she knew I knew. This place is a mess. The tool aren't sterilized came out a box now I'm freaking out. Didn't wanna be rude and walk out. I got the deluxe pedicure and it lasted no more than 25 mins. The lady said it would be 45 mins. I had a gel manicure and not only does it look fantastic but I'm in the second week and still no chips. I've given up on this place several times. They don't stick to appointment times and unless you have a specific tech, they aren't good. Today was the last straw. I received a gift certificate for Christmas, and I figured I'd give them one more shot. I asked for a specific design (before I started) which doesn't seem very difficult, the tech said "yes" I can do that. It turns out he could not. Now I have lumpy black nails for Christmas, which is not what I would've preferred. Wow. I've never had a 37 minutes mani pedi before. The nail tech offered to upgrade to a delux service for $48 dollars, and when I said the regular service was fine, she certainly did an express job. Virtually no leg or hand massage, I watch her touch instruments to the tops of my nails but not actually use them. There is polish on my skin on virtually every nail. The last couple of times have not been good at all--I bet there's new management. Won't be back. read more

I have found THE best hair dresser. My mother and I went in Saturday morning, to get her nails and hair done. Her hair was the first thing done by Chris. He was absolutely amazing. He was very confident in his work, was excited to do my moms new eggplant purple hair, and he didn't treat us as if we were just there to pay him. I've been to this place a couple times now. Let's say they always have a crowd and I understand why. The technicians are super friendly and are really to whatever you need them to do. Most of us have hang nails on out big toes. The nice lady took it out for me until the pain was gone, at most places they think they got it at but they never do. Just stopped in last Sunday for a pedicure. I have a permanent nail pl but was at marshals and it was almost 5 on a Sunday so I decided to stop by. The pedi was not what I am use to. I asked for just white polish and expected my nail to be buffed and cuticles done and most of all looked forward to the scrub that is usually done after the nails are filed but that really wasn't done. I saw the person that was doing my nails add acetone to the almost empty white polish! Agh.. I hate when they do that! Just open up a new one! Next I went to dry and notice since she did not buff out my nail it had almost uneven (ledge look). I had her add another coat thinking that would help but it did not. Before I left I went to desk and asked for clear polish to be put on that 1 toe since it had to be touched up and needed to dry. The person at the desk applied a clear coat of polish but when I got home I notice there was a hair under the top coat that was sealed in. I called back and they were closed but went back the next day to fix that 1 nail and would you believe while the man was fixing it he was wiping the nail polish bottle with cotton and applying it to my nail with some cotton specs sticking to the nail! Agh!! He did fix but omg!! Here we go again! Can not wait to go back to my amazing pl in pompano that is so amazing I will not mention the name because it is so busy anyway in addition to the great customer service and quality of their work.. oh and also a few $ cheaper! read more

Yesterday I went to this place to have a pedicure, and I specifically asked for someone who knew how to cut cuticles well, because I don't like technicians who are afraid of cutting too much. I like my nails to look neat, and especially I like my pedicure to lasts longer. So the first technician did a terrible job, she was cutting very little, and so I asked for a replacement. The other one was worse, she would miss the sides of my toe nails. But when I told her, she reacted with the biggest ego and told me that she has been cutting cuticles for 16 years, and that nobody had ever complained about it. At this time every technician had their eyes on me as if I was being a mean person, when I wasn't. All I wanted was someone who knew how to cut cuticles the correct way, after all it was not free, I was paying $26 for the job. So the 3rd technician came, and she was actually really good. However, she would not stop talking to the other technicians while working on my feet, and it was obvious that it was about me. Because all eyes were on me as if I was the main character in a play. That was really unprofessional of her, and of them. Most of these Asian technicians like to talk about their customers because they know we don't understand the language. And that's not nice. I felt bad, and very uncomfortable. I will not be going there anymore. Even the lady in charge said something inappropriate when I told her that I liked how the 3rd technician worked. She responded: "Thank God" instead of focusing in the problem. Because when it takes 3 technicians to satisfy a customer there is obviously a problem. "Also" she should have interfered when all the technicians were talking about me due to my technician who started the whole thing. We are the paying customers here HEllooooo! Love my technician "kelly". She is very hard to understand as she mumbles and has an accent, but I hate chatty techs anyway. I love that most days I can just walk in and get my nails done. Got a major infection from my pedicure!!! My doctor told me it was a bacterial infection from unclean instruments. I was not going to pass a negative review online however when I called and spoke with the manager so this would not happen to someone else she rushed me off the phone and said she would speak to her technicians about the importance of using the sterilizer after each use. However, I was actually going to Marshalls when I saw Nails Paradise and thought let's give this place a try. The shop was booming with business so I was concerned about being seen.
