Terrible. The salon is very old unkempt. I received a pedicure. However the instruments didn't seem too hygienic. They were dipped in the peroxide however not sterilized. When i went to my usual place the nail color had stained my nails. It took my nail tech a long time to rectify the situation. I only went to Armonds because it was near the mall! Never again. I am a regular here, and it's not the fanciest, but the polish usually doesn't chip, which is the most important part! They don't kill you with kindness, if you are late, or annoy them they will tel you. They have a television that plays , currently forensic files. They have a section of decent polish it's not grand but it's good and has OPI and Essie. It's hard to tell if the dryer is in or not. Just a tip. read more

I have been remiss in not writing this five star review for years! I have been coming to the salon since I was 18. The owner, Mr. dang, is one of the hardest working shopkeepers I know! Without an equivocation of a doubt the best nail salon I have ever gone to. Whether it's a standard manicure, acrylic nails, or the works, this place can do no wrong! DO NOT GO HERE!!! The place is a mess!!! No one know what they are doing. My wife drives 45 minutes to specificity go here to get her eye brows and nails done! The one day she went they DID NOT tell her they had a new person doing eye brows and the new person ripped off HALF OF HER EYEBROW!!! They lady claimed she was helping here cause she had a bald spot when she definitely did not and only went in for a touch up! HALF OF HER EYE BROW IS GONE!!! It's absolutely disgusting how they treated their customer as if she was the one that was wrong. It was literally her birthday and they fucked up her eye brow hours before a interview, a holiday party and birthday events!! When I called to speak to the owner they said he comes in randomly, just goes to show you how poorly he is running the business.!! Horrible. If you hate yourself this is the place to go! read more

One of the worst experiences EVER! This place is by far the worst it's a NOOOO FOR ME!! Never again! Now, The gentleman in the front was great! Very nice man, However, he didn't do my nails, the woman behind him did! She was awful!!!! OMG! I've never been here, I was in the neighborhood so I took my chances! I regretted it the second I sat down! I asked for a simple full set ... pink powder! Round nails. Short! She was annoyed immediately!!! Who knows maybe she was having a bad day .. but she took it out on me and my poor hands that's for sure! She was pulling my hand immediately as soon as I sat down, and pulling me closer to her the slapping my finger away, if it went up, then throwing my hand so I would give her my other hand! Breathing heavily as if annoyed. I asked got short she cut the medium, when she asked good? I said no I said short ... she breathed heavily again ... like it was my fault. I said short like 3 times. Like literally the worst I've ever experienced and I've been getting my nails done for about 30 years! I'm 41. I've had all kinds of experiences but nothing like this!!! I came in bc I needed some pampering. To relax. My hands needed some attention! What I got instead was an aggravated, rude, rough, experience. She literally kept hurting me by stabbing her nail into the sides of my nail ... then she cut me a few times and then she became even more aggravated like bitch I didn't do shit YOU DID! I told her .. wait you keep pulling me what is your prob? The gentleman came over and tried to help bc by then when I looked at my hand I realized my nails weren't even ... my right hand didn't even look like the left! The nails were chubby the acrylic was not smooth.. it looked pregnant lol like wtf ... it was a mess I tried to explain but then they BOTH said well what's the prob ... clearly flipping it on me! I said you know what just finished so I can get the hell out of here!!! File it down please ... make it somewhat even, i was already completely annoyed and my fucking fingers hurt!!!! She was so upset w me like I did something to her ... then she starts speaking in her language ... like bitch I know your talking about me! Omg !! The worst!!! NEVERRRRRRRRR AGAIN WILL I GO BACK AND I BC IT WAS SO BAD I HAD TO WRITE A REVIEW. TO WARN PEOPLE! Us woman get our nails done not only to look good but to also relax get some pampering, enjoy the experience, quiet time, especially after a long day of work! We are paying you for the experience and it's not cheap! It's getting more and more expensive these days. I'm giving you my money, how dare you act like your bothered to do your job. Wanted to get pedicures for me and my daughter, i was asked what color I wanted , I asked for let's be friends by opi , they said they don't have that name brand. So I should them what color it was online, so they would able to find me the best match .The owner was so rude to me saying you have to pick color we don't do that , clearly that if your a nail artist you do have to be able to match colors ridiculous. I have been going to Armonds Nails for about 11 years now and I have always had amazing service! Even though I live out of state I make it a point to go there whenever I am in town visiting family. Steve, the owner is so sweet to all of his clients and will fit you in no matter how busy he is. When you call to make an appointment he will also address you by your first name without you even telling it to him! Like who gives that kind of service anymore?! His wife Julie is a bit more reserved but she knows what she is doing and is truly the best in the biz for nails. They just updated there nail color selection which is nice too so I can wear whats "trending". The place is small. They cut my fiancé and they were too rough on her. The hot towels burned our feet-literally. My nails had to be redone with top cosy as the top coat left lines. When I left I noticed my nails were uneven and missing paint and it was so bad when I got home I had to remove all of the polish, I couldn't even fix it myself (since I brought my own color) They are being clean for social distancing with glass shields and cleaning, I'll give them that and their prices are decent, but we won't return due to the errors with the service and how horrendous of a paint job it was. My fiancé's paint job also looks terrible. I'll probably be disputing the charge due to how bad the end result was. read more

Never again! This was my second time at Armond. The first time, Mai did a nice gel manicure and was very pleasant. Today, Julie interrupted my pedicure to do a walk-in brow wax! Left me sitting with my feet on a wet towel. Pretty much skipped the foot massage. For the eyebrow wax, she was in a rush and left gummy wax stuck to my eyebrows. Second time coming for a pedicure they do AMAZING at cleaning your nails and cuticles. I decided to do a manicure as well this time and did not regret it! I usually get nail enhancements but really far away with my nail girl but I'm tired of the drive and commitment. It was nice just having a simple clean up for once close by my house. Mary cleaned my nails so nicely she made sure she didn't leave NOTHING behind, gave me a nice hand rub that felt like heaven and painted both hands and feet really precisely. The yellow I picked out I guess paints on sheer so she recommended to paint white polish first then go over a couple times with the yellow polish for it to pop! She was right it looked amazing. She even goes over with a brush to clean up the edges! She made sure I sat long enough so the polish dries properly. I really like this place I think I'll be coming here from now on. I do not recommend this place at all. They are rude, make mistakes, try to cheat you, and they are rough. Save your money and time.

There is NO ambiance, but prices are good and the work done is good. I wouldn't get a pedicure there because their chairs look HORRIBLE, OLD, and just dirty, but I don't think they are. I would and only go there to get my nails done. They don't have a lot of colors so I usually just bring my own. read more

She charged for me for a style she didn't even know how do to and she was packing on the dip powder way too much & I won't be going back! I had to get them removed the next day from a different nail salon. I'm sure they have other nail techs that are better then the other but I got a terrible one to do the style I wanted.
