I have been coming here for years but will definitely not be back . I came to do my nails and one of the workers was taking pictures of me and of other customers which was super weird . I saw her pull out her phone multiple times and even caught her trying to take pictures of me . She saw me looking at her and that I had my phone out and she stopped . I spoke to the owner about it and mentioned how uncomfortable and unprofessional that was . I hope he talks to her and takes the complaint serious . I really don't like giving bad reviews but this one is a must . I've visited this shop a couple times and I'm always left with one or two flaws but this recent visit was the last. I made an appointment for 3:30PM and left work early so I could be there on time. Once arrived I was told to wait 20 minutes, I'm patient. After 30 minutes I hadn't got an update and decided to give them 10 more minutes of my time. It was 4:10PM I waited forty minutes and never got an update or an assurance that my appointment would be honored, I left. There's no point in making appointments, this place isn't as professional as they should be. It should be walk in only. I also noticed over the years how Vincent is always booked and no one else there is on the same level of experience or talent. Careful with the "massage" upgrades, they just apply lotions for an additional $25. I'll be taking my money elsewhere. The locals are the reason this place remains in business. read more

I am a regular there and I came in today to get a gel manicure and while I was waiting the nail tech came and greeted me and the thought she was really sweet. She started with cleaning my nails and after she used the nail clipper for the cuticles and she was not gentle at all. She made me bleed from my finger and didn't take care of it or wipe it with alcohol. She painted my nails really messy. The color was all around my nails and hands and the clear gel color was messy as well. They still had the audacity to still charge me after a horrible job. Never coming back here. Super disappointed. I don't know what happen to this place. They use to have really good nail technicians. The ones they have now should get more training. read more

I've been coming here for 16 years, but the service has declined so much it's unrecognizable. All I asked for was a simple French tip on medium-length nails and a basic pedicure with a French tip--nothing complicated. Instead, it turned into a three-hour ordeal filled with back-and-forth corrections, unprofessional behavior, and unfinished work. I had to micromanage every step just to avoid leaving with completely botched nails. When I politely asked the tech to fix acrylic that was overlapping my nail bed, he got defensive, said he wouldn't finish, and gave me a sloppy, uneven French tip on purpose. The next tech doing my pedicure couldn't shape evenly--one toe was noticeably longer--and seemed irritated anytime I asked for a fix. Meanwhile, the salon was full of chaos: staff arguing, clients screaming, and drama being stirred between customers. I left with unfinished nails and feet. I'm fairly new to the gel ex nail game, and this has become my favourite place to go! The first time I went - I can't remember who my tech was - they admittedly used an excess of gel underneath the extensions, which then burned the heck out of my fingers. However, I went again about three weeks later, mostly to get them removed. After noticing that the tech I had that visit - Tony - was significantly gentler, I decided to try getting the gel ex service one more time. He did a wonderful job, making sure that everything looked smooth and clean. I came back today for my second set by him and got what I've attached in the photos. Again, Tony was great! I'd highly recommend going here. As for the nails themselves, they are quite sturdy - I took too long getting an older set removed and nearly ripped my nail up, yikes - and light. The only complaint I have that has been a recurring issue is how little polish is sometimes applied to the entire nail. When I got a nude set, they appeared gradient in low light, but it became clear in good lighting that there was not enough polish towards the tips of my nails. Otherwise, they have always looked and felt wonderful! As for prices, when I get gel extensions, my total is $50.00. Adding a removal service prior is only an additional $5.00. Today, I got a fill, and my total came out to $45.00. Do with this info as you will. Considering my natural nails have the structural integrity of playing cards, I opt to keep mine professionally done. read more

I recommend Jenny! I was nervous getting acrylics removed for the first time and my nails were a little soft, but she was really gentle and patient. She checks to make sure nothing hurts and she's efficient at the same time. Being a licensed professional in the beauty industry, I saw State Board violations as soon as I got seated. This is what I saw while getting my nails done. Didn't disinfect station before taking new client after finishing with previous client Didn't change gloves between clients and were visibly dirty Used visibly dirty tools from a container clearly stating "Soiled implements" Filed nails with dirty files that were lying there on the table that were most likely used all day with clients The lady was nice but it's a high volume salon where they reuse dirty tools, work with used disposables, and don't disinfect in between clients. read more

I went for first time to get gel color with French tips and a simple, basic design. As soon as I came in I got attended but I think it was just luck because after me there were people coming and calling during all the time I was there. Well, I usually do my own manicure at home just before going to the shop because I like to make the shape and length of my nails, so I was ready for the color. Besides I told the guy at the entrance exactly what I wanted, the lady started doing manicure. Well, o let her go (I shouldn't have to) but I told her to respect the length and shape. Like nothing, because she cut all the edges of my naturally square nails, making a super irregular shape (see picture). Tina was very nice, but I didn't like her work. Too many coats make me have really thick nails right now, and I don't like it. Also, they charged me $5 for the design in one nail which is not even a design. I wanted a flower and I got several dots joined by lines like if a kid did it (see picture). Overall experience: I won't be back. It is not worth the price $25 (manicure that I didn't wanted + gel color) $5 design (that is a joke). There are plenty of nail shops with even better prices in the exact same are. I've been coming here for about four years. VAN is the best I've never had any issues with her...EVER. The work here is over all great, the issue usually lies with scheduling from the receptionist. She isn't the best at predicting time for future appointments. LOUIE is highly skilled and fast but it is usually an advantage used against him. Since he has this skill set, he abuses squeezing people in and he isn't on time. He will accept a walk in 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and make you wait. I've waited over an hour for him and he seems to be more interested in head count than customer service. If you book with him, best practice would be to show up 15 minutes to 30 minutes late and there's a 50% percent chance he'll be with you within 20 minutes if your lucky. read more
