I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she recreated the nail shape and got the color pretty accurate to my nail inspo. I went on a Tuesday and it wasn't super busy, which I liked. My favorite thing about my nail artist was how gentle she was. I've been to other salons where they were really harsh, filed down my nails so thin, and even made me bleed. But this salon was not like that. It cost me $40 for dip powder manicure. I would go again and even try to get a nail design next time!

We had made an appointment at 3pm on a Tuesday after asking for the best time. We were not sat until after 3:20pm which was frustrating. I had one nail with a little crack so they put some hot glue on which cost a tiny bit extra. I did gel and got a design on one finger on each hand. I did love my nail tech at seat 10 and allowed her to freestyle the flowers on my accent nails. The pricing was good and once we started, the process was pretty quick. Unfortunately, 3/10 of my nails chipped or cracked within 9 days of getting my nails done. This is super frustrating as I tip well and expect them to last at least 3 weeks. I paid $45 which is great pricing plus a $10 tip but the fact that they chipped after less than two weeks ruined it for me. I don't love the builder gel but feel like you need to get it for your nails to last here. Unfortunately, after the long wait and the gel not lasting at all, I do not think I will come back. I'm very disappointed as I loved the location and the nail tech.

I Think I Found My New Nail Home!…read more I was absolutely devastated when I found out that the nail salon I had been a loyal client of for the past 9 years was closing so they could move to another part of the country. I'm genuinely happy for them... but selfishly? Very sad for me. For the past month, I've been asking around, getting opinions, and doing my homework on local nail salons--likes, dislikes, recommendations, horror stories... because finding a new nail salon after 9 years is basically like dating again. Then I stumbled upon a brand-new salon opening not far from my old one. And let's just say... I am HAPPY! They had literally just opened their doors, and making an appointment online was super easy and convenient--which, as someone who would rather schedule something online than make a phone call whenever possible, gets an immediate gold star from me. They offer a ton of services including: *Classic manicures * Shellac * Dipping powder * Acrylics *Builder gel (which I'm definitely curious to find out more) -*Pedicures *Kids' services And the COLORS. An absolutely obnoxious amount of colors in both dipping powder and polish. Which, obviously, is not actually obnoxious because I support having an unreasonable number of choices when it comes to my nails. One thing I really liked is that they require each guest to purchase a personal nail kit at their first visit for sanitation purposes. The kit includes a file, buffer, and other personal-use items, and you simply bring it back to future appointments. Replacement kits are available if needed. I actually really appreciate this extra step! And then there was Kally, who did my nails. She was fantastic! She took the time to ask exactly what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page. I did have one little nail emergency. I had broken one nail, and it was MUCH shorter than the others. I already knew it was going to need a tip replacement. Kally looked at me and asked, "Would you like me to cut this one shorter?" And then immediately started laughing. I knew right then we were going to get along just fine. She has a great sense of humor, and I absolutely loved that about her! So... after 9 years of being with the same salon, I walked into a brand-new place wondering if I was going to have that "Oh boy, what have I done?" feeling. Instead, I walked out thinking... Yep. I'll be back. New salon, and apparently a whole lot of colors I now feel obligated to try.
