The clientele ranges from the more conservative "cut-just-an-inch" type to the more daring "i-want-something-different" type. Whoever you are, In Vogue will make you a happy girl (or boy). My appointment was with Tara, who is the most fun, passionate and knowledgeable stylists I've ever worked with. When she talks to you, you can tell she's very excited about what she does and that her heart goes into it 100%. It was no secret that they were in a rush, as they were all but shoving us out the door the moment we were done. However, it seems they didn't wait adequate time in between coats as my nails have the most hideous bubbles on them. I would have gone back in to ask them to fix it, but given how they were pretty much closing as we were sitting waiting for our nails to dry (shutting off the music so we sat in silence as they didn't acknowledge us any further, turning off lights, playing on their phones) I did not feel comfortable doing so. Had I not paid I honestly would have removed the nail polish immediately myself and redid them at home. Moral of the story, if you want poorly painted nails and an experience in which it is clear that your presence is unwanted, this is the nail salon for you!

They've recently updated their systems, so now you receive text reminders about your appointment, which I really appreciate, and you can gather points for discounts as you come in. I've gotten their gel manicures, dip manicures, and extensions. I've never been disappointed. They are meticulous, attentive, and they listen to requests and changes you want made. I think it's important to be discerning when you read reviews. Business owners not loving having…read moreyour poorly-behaved gaggle of children causing havoc in their place of business is on you. Your nail(s) coming off/chipping within 1-2 days is on you (they do the same exact thing for every customer--if you have very long naturals nails/acrylics, they will take more abuse, moisturize too often, take a shower soon after having your nails done, are generally hard on your nails, etc, your mani will not last long). That said, I have never, EVER had polish last as long as when I had them done from this place. I am very active & accept that my activities are not conducive to nail polish, so when they chip within 1-2 days, it doesn't bother me (I'm sorry, but ladies, they are JUST NAILS). I went downhill mountain biking at Thunder the day after I had these done & not one chip. They are beautiful and perfect still after 2 weeks. Make sure to make an appointment, as with any salon.

Still the only salon for me! Simply amazing! After having my very first hair process done at Ochoa and then coming here, this is the only place I will ever go to. Not to mention the HUGE difference in price. Ochoa quoted me a full highlight to start at $124 and go up from there and said it would definitely be more because of my long hair, well the Finishing Touch starts at $75 for a full highlight and charged me $78 when it was all said and done even with my long hair. I love the color I got done at the Finishing Touch and it's the only salon I will go to from now on, not to mention their great prices! I'm in love with this place and will be returning as much as possible. They do everything there too, hair, nails, tan, waxing, ear candling, manicure pedicure, massage, you name it they do it, a true salon and spa!
