I absolutely will not be going to this nail salon again. I came in for a gel removal and classic gel pedicure. Gwen started filing off my gel polish and it was hurting on a few of my nails, which doesn't normally happen. I looked down and notice the top of my nail was red but figured that was temporary. She then wiped them with alcohol and that was when my nail started burning badly. I told her it was burning and stinging and she just said "oh it hurts?", to which I responded yes, and she said "your nail is thin" and the just laughed it off. At that point I felt it was unsafe to put anything on my raw skin that was now exposed from my nail being filed down too thin, and she asked if I wanted normal polish instead. Being a professional, I would think she would advise no nail polish on the nail since it was open to my skin. I told her I did not want anything on them. She then pulled out a "strengthener" and insisted on putting that on. That also burned and I told her so, but she continued putting on clear polish anyways. She never once apologized or acted concerned over my skin being exposed through the nail. They still charged me $41 for the removal and pedicure, even though I asked to be done after the polish was filed off. I am now concerned this will end up infected because of the poor technique of filing too hard. I am extremely disappointed as prior to this, I had a very positive experience with another nail tech at this location. Called this establishment and was able to book an appointment relatively easy, the receptionist was patience and kind. I booked a gel pedicure with Mia and was greeted upon entering the salon. I was offered a beverage and seated in a timely manner. Mia was so sweet and thorough as she explained the process. She never once made me feel pressured to get any add ons which was a big relief because I always feel like salon pressure you into getting addition service. I switched to Nail Studio about 6 months ago and have been coming here primarily for the service & atmosphere. It's a very clean salon, the music is very upbeat/soothing and you ALWAYS get what you pay for. I spend an average of 1.5 hours for my nails and pedicure every visit. They take their time and never rush. Appointments are preferred if you have a technician that you like. However, I haven't had issues waiting too long when walking in. Either way, anyone assigned to you will likely do a great job. I've had a few technicians as I am pretty flexible. They also don't hound you with add on services and that's nice. My preferred technician for nails is the guy. His name is Khanh. I've NEVER had anyone do my nails with such clean margins on the gel nail polish. Previous places, they either miss the margins, or leave excess which causes your nails to lift or become annoying for my OCD. I love the "hot gel" option at this salon. Instead of acrylic or powder nails, it's a clear gel overlay that is light cured over my real nails and gives me the same strength as acrylic nails but with a natural/clear finish. It seems to last longer too in my opinion. They log your services each visit with your preferences. Shape, size, color & materials used. Simple things like this make a difference! read more

I stopped by for a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised by my experience! They opened this location earlier this year and I decided to try it out. What makes it 5 stars? - reasonable prices ($30 for a basic pedicure) - great customer service (someone always picks up the phone for reservations and all the ladies were friendly) - great quality of work (my toenails were perfectly done by Molly; she was very meticulous and my nails are still looking amazing after one week) - beautiful and modern interior and decor. The space is open and bright - easy parking in front of the store Note: they charge a $1 fee if you pay by credit card. You can pay your nail technician by Venmo if you don't have cash on you. I hope this isn't the honeymoon phase of this business opening and the high quality and great customer service continue! Definitely will be back soon for another pedicure. read more

Really enjoyed the vibe and the services at this salon, it was a great experience and my nails turned out perfect.

I do not get my nails done very often (maybe 2x a year if that!).. but I keep coming back here because I know they'll do a great job! The first time i got gel nails done they chipped within 3 days... but I let them know and they scheduled me to come back and get them touched up for free. They didn't make me feel weird about not paying for this (even though it did feel strange to come in and not pay anything), and were very kind and generous about making sure they were fixed. I've also had dip nails done more recently (i'm rainbow!) and loved them! The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the quality is top notch in my opinion. While I haven't done it myself, I've seen plenty of little girls come in and get their nails done with a parent - which seems like so much fun! I love that you can pay via apple pay, tip via venmo, and they have an on-site ATM if you prefer cash. It's always a comfy place to be with tons of TVs and beverages available (although i've never had one!). Will definitely be back when I need to get my nails done again! read more

Today was my 2nd time here. I needed to find a new place because the nail salon I've been going to is just busy when I can go and they were so hard on my fingers that I would be sore for a few days. First time I went in early on a rainy day so it wasn't busy. I got gel-x which I loved! The tech then was super gentle and I didn't leave with sore fingers. This time, instead of having them removed and getting a new set, I wanted a gel fill. I'm allergic to activator for acrylic and the guy checking me in had no idea what I was talking about. Which, I often have this problem so I don't blame him at all. He grabbed the nail tech that came to look and she knew exactly what I needed. Jenny did an amazing job on my nails, she didn't file super hard, or in a hurry even though it was nearing the end of her day. She asked me multiple times if I liked the shape and length. When she was done, she told me what to say I needed next time - hard gel fill - in case anyone is wondering. I appreciated that so I don't feel difficult each time I come in. I realize what I ask for isn't typical but it's not like I'm asking for something they don't have! I tried to like this place, but my experience was so unsatisfactory that I will never waste my money there again. Upon entering, the inside was pretty clean and nice, and the lady at the desk seemed helpful. My issue was the technician that did my pedicure. She was clipping my nails while not even caring to look and kept talking to the lady next to her. My nails weren't straight at all, and the paint job was splotchy and not even covering the whole nail. The technician didn't even do the bare minimum. Not to mention that she didn't even file the sharp edges off after clipping. It was so bad that I had to go back in and ask only to file down the corners that actually really hurt. I just dealt with the bad paint job and it's already starting to chip. I've been to so many different nail salons, but I've never had a worse experience at one than I did at this one. This was truly not worth the money, and I won't be returning. read more

. Maybe I just got the wrong nail tech but it wasn't a pleasant nail experience. I got a pedicure and I don't have gel so I was surprised when she pulled out a drill on my nails. Now I don't get gel because I can't stand the drill. She didn't ask just used it. During the cuticle removal she was rough, I actually pulled my foot back at one point and thought I would be bleeding. Cuticle removal isn't pleasant but this was on my toenail that came off last year and any nail tech would know that seeing it is only partially grown out that area is going to be sensitive till it is completely grown out. I normally go to chroma nail and I've never had to tell them to be careful with that now and they've been doing my nails since before it came off. But the worst thing that happened was a year and a half ago I broke my ankle and tore three limit ligaments. When she was scrubbing my heels she turned my ankle to an unnatural angle so far that I had to pull my foot away and when I went to leave I could barely walk on my ankle think about where the 3 o'clock is on the on the clock she turned my foot all the way to the three and with a foot that has had torn ligaments and a broken ankle that is not good it would not have been good on a normal person let alone someone who's had damage to their ankle. It's been a year and a half since that happened and I've probably had my pedicure done a chroma 10 times since then and no one has ever bent my ankle that way and I've never told them not to so I had no way to anticipate that someone was going to twist my ankle in such an awkward fashion. Lastly my big toe seemed to be cut crooked, they put paper towels between my toes and because the minute I was done she kicked me out of the chair she didn't remove the paper towels and by the time I walked out to my car they were rubbing in my nails. I've never had a nail salon kick you out so quickly and not take the paper towels out from between your nails so that they don't get damaged when you walked out to your car. On to just the niceties, supposedly they offer free refreshments, was never offered anything. I tested some polish for my nails on my fingernails she didn't offer to take that off I've never had that happen at chroma they always look at your nails as it let me take that off for you without even asking. THESE WAS NO WIFI it would not connect at all. I think they were playing Christian music and it was on a loop so I heard the same music twice in the 35 minutes I was there . And the new lovely massage chairs? Can barely feel them, but the nail tech never adjusted my seat so I would be comfortable, or showed me how to use it (which they always do at chroma). I so hoped that this would be an amazing nails on and maybe it is for nails when you want designs on them but for just stopping in for a pedicure did not have a great experience. A lot of this is Customer Service things maybe it's training things they are new and maybe it will get better overtime but just didn't have the greatest experience read more

I don't know what was done any different than other salons, but never have my nails felt so healthy and strong. Despite being a busy mama, cooking, cleaning, playing with my toddler and going on vacation, my gel nails have yet to chip.
