I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon and won't be returning. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming. When I was seated, my nail technician took her time setting up her station and acted as though she was annoyed to be working on me. Since I'm pregnant, I chose a basic manicure and didn't want any upgrades. When she asked if I wanted gel and I politely declined, her attitude noticeably changed. The rest of the appointment felt rushed, and she took shortcuts throughout the manicure. The quality of the work was poor, but by that point I was so frustrated that I just wanted the appointment to be over. What really stood out was how differently she treated the next customer. She was suddenly warm, friendly, smiling, and offering additional services after that customer agreed to upgrade. It made me feel like I was only worth good service if I spent more money. Overall, the atmosphere was unprofessional, the customer service was unfriendly, and the manicure was disappointing. I would not recommend this salon and definitely will not be returning. read more

Update: it has been 2 months and my nails still have not recovered. Two of my toenails were completely split down the middle from the overfiling. All of them have a clear line from the new growth compared to where they were filed too thin. The ends are paper thin. I've also done some research and found that gel should never be fully removed with the e-file. The outside layer of polish should've been removed with the file and the rest should've been soaked off. In the future, I'll be looking for a salon that does things properly so my nails won't be damaged. Stay away from this place if you want your nails to stay intact!! read more

I recently got my first set of Gel-X nails after always getting acrylics. As soon as I got to my car, I noticed several of the nails weren't sealed properly around the cuticle. There were visible gaps between the Gel-X and my natural nail, which didn't seem right. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back inside because I had to pick up my daughters. Over the next week, I noticed some of the nails starting to look dark underneath, and one nail developed a painful pressure sensation. As soon as I had time, I went back to the salon. I requested a different technician because I wasn't comfortable having the same person fix them. The new technician removed the Gel-X and told me I had come in just in time because moisture had gotten underneath due to the improper application, and fungus was beginning to develop. After hearing that, I asked if it would be better to let my natural nails breathe for a week instead of putting on a new set. He seemed a little annoyed but agreed and told me to come back in a week. What surprised me was that after removing the Gel-X, he didn't smooth or buff my natural nails at all. They were left rough and uneven from the removal process. He told me I didn't have to pay, which I thought was fair given the situation. However, as I was walking out, the woman at the front desk asked what had happened. I explained what the technician had told me--that the Gel-X hadn't been applied properly and fungus was starting to grow underneath. She then asked me to pay $15. Honestly, I don't think I should have been charged anything to fix a problem that resulted from the original application. I ended up going straight to Nail 2000 afterward to get a basic manicure. Even the nail technician there was shocked that my nails had been left so rough and that they hadn't taken the time to smooth them out after removing the Gel-X. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Mistakes can happen, but I expected them to take responsibility and make it right without charging me anything or sending me out with damaged-looking nails. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning. read more

Im writing this review for my mom. She went to go get her nails done for a wedding that is coming up. The lady that did her toes did good there is no complaint there. However the lady who did her fingernails (Molly) gave her the most unprofessional service. My mom asked for acrylic full set short square nails, due to my mom finger size she never goes for an almond shape however Molly insisted she should try the almond shape and my mom agree but didn't want them to be so short. Once she realized she told Molly she was unsatisfied and asked if she was able to redo because of the length. Well molly mentioned they would have to charge my mom extra for a redo and that my mom agreed to this size and shape. My mom never agreed to go this short and as they were discussing Molly walked away from her. The only thing they were able to offer my mom is to give her a 10% discount. Now she never asked for anything free but asked if they can redo the nails. She came home crying and upset due to their rudeness and NOT being satisfied with her nails. We completely understand their policy, however their customer service and not willing to redo the nails is upsetting. read more

Called this establishment and was able to book an appointment relatively easy, the receptionist was patience and kind. I booked a gel pedicure with Mia and was greeted upon entering the salon. I was offered a beverage and seated in a timely manner. Mia was so sweet and thorough as she explained the process. I switched to Nail Studio about 6 months ago and have been coming here primarily for the service & atmosphere. It's a very clean salon, the music is very upbeat/soothing and you ALWAYS get what you pay for. I spend an average of 1.5 hours for my nails and pedicure every visit. They take their time and never rush. Appointments are preferred if you have a technician that you like. However, I haven't had issues waiting too long when walking in. Either way, anyone assigned to you will likely do a great job. I've had a few technicians as I am pretty flexible. They also don't hound you with add on services and that's nice. My preferred technician for nails is the guy. His name is Khanh. I've NEVER had anyone do my nails with such clean margins on the gel nail polish. Previous places, they either miss the margins, or leave excess which causes your nails to lift or become annoying for my OCD. I love the "hot gel" option at this salon. Instead of acrylic or powder nails, it's a clear gel overlay that is light cured over my real nails and gives me the same strength as acrylic nails but with a natural/clear finish. It seems to last longer too in my opinion. They log your services each visit with your preferences. Shape, size, color & materials used. Simple things like this make a difference! read more

What makes it 5 stars? - reasonable prices ($30 for a basic pedicure) - great customer service (someone always picks up the phone for reservations and all the ladies were friendly) - great quality of work (my toenails were perfectly done by Molly; she was very meticulous and my nails are still looking amazing after one week) - beautiful and modern interior and decor. The space is open and bright - easy parking in front of the store Note: they charge a $1 fee if you pay by credit card. You can pay your nail technician by Venmo if you don't have cash on you. Long lasting gel manicures ! Found my place and love Kate and Mia :) . They take their time and are pretty meticulous.

I do not get my nails done very often (maybe 2x a year if that!).. but I keep coming back here because I know they'll do a great job! The first time i got gel nails done they chipped within 3 days... but I let them know and they scheduled me to come back and get them touched up for free. They didn't make me feel weird about not paying for this (even though it did feel strange to come in and not pay anything), and were very kind and generous about making sure they were fixed. I've also had dip nails done more recently (i'm rainbow!) and loved them! The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the quality is top notch in my opinion. While I haven't done it myself, I've seen plenty of little girls come in and get their nails done with a parent - which seems like so much fun! I love that you can pay via apple pay, tip via venmo, and they have an on-site ATM if you prefer cash. Today was my 2nd time here. I needed to find a new place because the nail salon I've been going to is just busy when I can go and they were so hard on my fingers that I would be sore for a few days. I tried to like this place, but my experience was so unsatisfactory that I will never waste my money there again. Upon entering, the inside was pretty clean and nice, and the lady at the desk seemed helpful. My issue was the technician that did my pedicure. She was clipping my nails while not even caring to look and kept talking to the lady next to her. My nails weren't straight at all, and the paint job was splotchy and not even covering the whole nail. The technician didn't even do the bare minimum. Not to mention that she didn't even file the sharp edges off after clipping. It was so bad that I had to go back in and ask only to file down the corners that actually really hurt. I just dealt with the bad paint job and it's already starting to chip. I've been to so many different nail salons, but I've never had a worse experience at one than I did at this one. . Maybe I just got the wrong nail tech but it wasn't a pleasant nail experience. I got a pedicure and I don't have gel so I was surprised when she pulled out a drill on my nails. Now I don't get gel because I can't stand the drill. She didn't ask just used it. During the cuticle removal she was rough, I actually pulled my foot back at one point and thought I would be bleeding. Cuticle removal isn't pleasant but this was on my toenail that came off last year and any nail tech would know that seeing it is only partially grown out that area is going to be sensitive till it is completely grown out. I normally go to chroma nail and I've never had to tell them to be careful with that now and they've been doing my nails since before it came off. But the worst thing that happened was a year and a half ago I broke my ankle and tore three limit ligaments. When she was scrubbing my heels she turned my ankle to an unnatural angle so far that I had to pull my foot away and when I went to leave I could barely walk on my ankle think about where the 3 o'clock is on the on the clock she turned my foot all the way to the three and with a foot that has had torn ligaments and a broken ankle that is not good it would not have been good on a normal person let alone someone who's had damage to their ankle. It's been a year and a half since that happened and I've probably had my pedicure done a chroma 10 times since then and no one has ever bent my ankle that way and I've never told them not to so I had no way to anticipate that someone was going to twist my ankle in such an awkward fashion. Lastly my big toe seemed to be cut crooked, they put paper towels between my toes and because the minute I was done she kicked me out of the chair she didn't remove the paper towels and by the time I walked out to my car they were rubbing in my nails. I've never had a nail salon kick you out so quickly and not take the paper towels out from between your nails so that they don't get damaged when you walked out to your car. On to just the niceties, supposedly they offer free refreshments, was never offered anything. I tested some polish for my nails on my fingernails she didn't offer to take that off I've never had that happen at chroma they always look at your nails as it let me take that off for you without even asking. THESE WAS NO WIFI it would not connect at all. I think they were playing Christian music and it was on a loop so I heard the same music twice in the 35 minutes I was there . And the new lovely massage chairs? Can barely feel them, but the nail tech never adjusted my seat so I would be comfortable, or showed me how to use it (which they always do at chroma). I so hoped that this would be an amazing nails on and maybe it is for nails when you want designs on them but for just stopping in for a pedicure did not have a great experience. A lot of this is Customer Service things maybe it's training things they are new and maybe it will get better overtime but just didn't have the greatest experience read more

I don't know what was done any different than other salons, but never have my nails felt so healthy and strong.
