This review is primarily for Ashley, who waxes my eyebrows to perfection, religiously. She is the first person I have ever had wax my eyebrows (I was a threaded eyebrow girly before), and I don't think I can go back to threading after the level of care she demonstrates. I also love that I can sit there, absolutely silent, and not feel obligated to chit chat; I can also yap about my job and not feel like I'm a nuisance. You want your aesthetician to be a girl's girl, and Ashley is definitively that. I have had my family members also get their eyebrows waxed by Ashley, with similar rave reviews. Because of my brand loyalty, for lack of a better word, I have also gifted services other than waxing to friends and family with similar results. My one issue with Selah is their booking platform, Vagaro. I hate hate HATE it because it is consistently buggy. I will book a service, then never receive a confirmation email. I got the cutest soft gel manicure from Jasmine. I'm so impressed with how she was able to remove my old hard gel from a nail tech who made it way too thick. She was truly able to transform my nails. They were so brittle and fragile, but she made them look so healthy. I wanted a simple glossy pale lavender. She did exactly that. Jasmine is flexible, easy to get along with, and truly cares about her clients. I've been to quite a bit of nail techs here in Tucson and I can say with confidence Jasmine is my favorite. I highly recommend messaging her as she's very helpful in creating your vision. The space is gorgeous, the experience was delightful from entry to exit. It is clear that all of the details have been thought out. For my first ever visit to Selah, I booked a Bliss Facial and Vanessa was my esthetician. The Bliss Facial is 100% accurately named because WOW! From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. Vanessa was extremely sweet and bubbly, the treatment room was clean and well decorated, and the facial.....the facial! Where do I even begin? Well let's just say Vanessa made the experience perfect. She has a great touch - soothing, but still enough pressure that you can feel tension melting away. All of the products smelled and felt great, plus I left with glowing skin. I waited to write a review for Selah because I had multiple appointments here. I made my appointments online (the only negative to this is that they don't have their full list of services doing it this way, so I'd recommend calling your first time if you aren't sure what you want!) My first appointment was lashes with Nikkol. She was super friendly and the salon is beyond cute and decorated perfectly. She had a great playlist and I was so comfortable I think I fell asleep! I did the hybrid lash set which is a mix of classic & volume lashes. The process took about 2.5 hours but refills are shorter and vary in price depending on how soon you go for a refill. I have gotten many compliments on my lashes since I've been in! I had my 2nd appointment for a brow wax and tint with the owner, Hannah. She was so personable and friendly. The wax they use is a hard wax, not the strips. The hard wax is less painful. During the tinting process she allowed me to check on the color to make sure I was okay with it, which was really thoughtful. I left with much better brows than when I came in! I have an appointment coming up for a facial and will be visiting Selah for all of my beauty needs. I highly recommend this salon!! read more

I just had the most relaxing and beautiful facial at Selah today. I opened for the classic facial which includes a brightening exfoliador because it was an option that didn't include dermaplaning and I didn't want to do dermaplaning. The salon is in a cool area in a gorgeous brick building. It's lovely inside. It smelled like pleasant soft, sweet spices. The lighting and temperature were perfectly comfortable for my taste. The decor is comfortable, chic, beautiful and welcoming. It feels like a very high end salon. The wonderful lady who scheduled my appointments and checked me in was a truly kind, sweet, friendly, and genuine person. Even waiting in the lobby was a pleasure. The facial itself was wonderful. All of the products felt high quality. The facial and scalp massages were patient, caring, and thoughtful. The pace felt relaxing and calm. My face is soaking in all the goodness of the last product she put in my face now, and my skin looks brighter and plumper. The room where I got my facial was very comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The bed set up was so nice with the booster for under the knees. Very nice cushion-- felt like a real bed mattress. Hannah has been my go-to gal for eyebrow waxing for years, and I always leave her studio a happy camper. She is so good at what she does, and I get compliments a lot on how what great eyebrows I have. Though I'm tempted to lie and take credit for my naturally fabulous eyebrows, I give Hannah all the credit, and anyone I've sent her way raves about the experience. My oldest daughter has had bikini waxing here, which can be awkward for a teenager - but Hannah is so sweet and relaxed, she put her right at ease. I've also been to Vanessa when Hannah wasn't available, and she is equally skilled. I love the new studio, which Hannah (with help from her husband) renovated herself!
