This has been my nail salon for over 10 years now. I have tried others on occasion or when given a gift certificate but I always go to and recommend Nail'ori. Holly and Mae are wonderful and my favorites , but the others are excellent as well when on the rare occasion I cannot book with Holly and Mae. The salon is comfortable, clean and neat, the service is exceptional. I believe they charge what they are worth and are worth what they charge. I highly recommend this salon! read more

UPDATE - I love coming to Nail'ori for a shellac mani but unfortunately I won't be back for a pedicure. I received my first pedicure this weekend and I had to go back the next day to get it fixed because the polish job was so bad. There was polish all over my toes even though I asked her to clean it up while I was there. I came back the next day and they had to completely repaint my toe nails, but it still looks awful. Not all of my nails are painted fully - it's uneven, chipped and there's still paint on my skin. It was so nice of the salon to repaint my toe nails, but unfortunately they still look awful. Everyone these is so nice so I hate to even leave this review, but I'm very upset with my pedicure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nail'ori has become my new favorite nail salon! This place is okay. If you're in the area and need a polish change, that is basically what a manicure/pedicure fee covers. They offered everyone a drink except for me. Maybe I am not light enough. They charge 75 cents to offer sanitized tools. I have never been to a salon that does not embed this into their fee. They use cold water for your feet, perhaps to save money? The technicians and owners talk A LOT in vietnamese amongst themselves. This is very distracting and not at all peaceful. The nail tech tries to sell you on additional services throughout your chosen services. This is obnoxious and you basically learn, all you're getting is your hands/feet washed and fingernails/toenails painted. The paint doesn't end on your nails, it continues onto your cuticles! I've had much better. Hopefully your experience is better than mine. read more

The people at this nail place are not customer oriented at all. Tried to get a quick manicure at 6:30 and they would not do it because it was 30 min till they closed. But a manicure only takes 15 minutes the most. Very disappointed read more

This salon is hands down the best pedicure experience that I have ever had! I moved to Houston in May from Pearland and have never been able to find a really good nail salon. Houston salons in general are expensive without the high quality work. This salon is very reasonable with a large menu that encompasses different price ranges and different services. In other words, whatever your budget may be, they have something for you. On top of their extensive menu and great prices, the staff is amazing. Everyone speaks perfect English and is extraordinarily friendly. Finally, the quality of work done is a 10/10. For the basic pedicure, they give you a 10 minute massage on each leg! After reading the reviews I wanted to try this place. I called and a little girl answers the phone " hello" I ask if it's nail'ori and the phone hangs up. Thinking that I might have dialed the wrong number I double check the number and call back. This time an older sounding lady answers " hello" the lack of greeting is very unprofessional and already gives me a bad impression. I love this place and I'm so spoiled that I can't go anywhere else. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted and they are happy to see you. Then there are literally over 1000 colors to choose from and they're all organized by colors and its easy to find what you like each time. The massages that come with the manicure/pedicures are amazing and the place is relaxing and soothing. You can have wine or water or hot tea served to you at no charge. The pedicure I got was amazing! They really took their time and were extremely detailed. The polish work was perfect and lasted for several weeks with no chips. I accidentally stepped the wrong way into my shoe and smeared the polish, but they were so sweet and fixed it from the beginning. They removed all the polish from that nail and started all over, and made it as good as new. I am so happy with their work. I am normally pretty hard on shellac and can't make it last too long, but they did a great job and it looked good for 2 weeks (which is great for me). They keep a really peaceful atmosphere here, and it actually is relaxing, unlike many other nail salons in the area. I will be back! read more

The nail technicians at Nail'Ori really know their stuff. I have not had anyone do a better, more professional job than they do. I started coming here for the occasional manicure before important events and later got hooked by the shellac/gel nails trend. I visit regularly now and always receive the same high quality for low cost. I don't stick with the same technician every time, but that doesn't matter because all of the techs are phenomenal. The shop is also incredibly accommodating at fitting customers in, even at the last minute. Their practices are entirely hygienic and you simply can't beat their quality results and prices. Only once I had a shellac manicure that started to bubble and peel after a few days. A lot of people like the "massage" when getting a manicure and pedicure. Not me. They dig their thumbs into your neck/ shoulder muscles multiple times and this is supposed to be relaxing. With the last manicure I also received a stab wound near my cuticle. I understand there is the odd time where you get an inexperienced technician but this seems to be the norm for me. A very bad customer service. I pretended not to be in the same ethnic group and the lady did my nails was trashing on me and other customers. They ignored their clients and just chit chat with each other in Vietnamese. Not just that but they used profanity over the place. They fight with each other verbally and threaten to beat each other, especially the store owner. She yelled at her employees sound as bad as she would yell at the animal. I came on a weekday around rush hour and didn't really have to wait. Staff and owners were courteous and patient. I got one of the special pedicure (can't think of the name at the moment) and a shellac manicure. Both of my techs were extremely helpful, gentle and patient. Amy was excellent! I can't remember the guy's name but we had a good casual conversation. He didn't ask me too many questions about my private life like the techs at other salons, yet he managed to make me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Price is good for the area and service. These ladies do the best job! I've been going here for about 3 years now, and I've never not left feeling fabulous! Everyone who comes to visit, I take there. They have even done my nails for my wedding and every other special occasion. It's calm and relaxing in there. Instrumental music plays softly and the tv's are muted with closed captioning in case you want to watch the (usually) hgtv show that's playing. They never fail to offer complimentary bottled water, soda or a glass of wine to enjoy while being pampered. And their shoulder massages make the experience!
