This is the best nail salon I've been to! I had been searching for a clean and professional nail salon to go to for a while, and I finally found one. The place is super clean, professional, beautiful decorated and has relaxing music playing. The manager even makes me a delicious cup of coffee every time I ask. They also provide quick service. I've been there several times now, and I haven't had to wait to be helped. I do wish they had a little more color choices particularly some of the newer ones, but they still have a good amount of choices. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

The BEST eyebrow wax in town. No one wants to be stuck w a bad eyebrow wax. I've had Mary and Mindy do mine and it is perfection! They are artists. Never going too extreme or anything, just perfect. My sister-in-law and I went here this morning. We like to try different salons in the search for best pedicure for lowest price. Unfortunately, this place was just ok. Very cute and comfortable interior and great color selection however the actual service left both of us wanting more. My leg massage was a little rough and she barely felt hers. She also had a $7 up-charge for the type of polish she chose and wasn't told, nor was there a sign indicating that. It wasn't gel, but was the Essie drugstore version of "gel". I have been coming to 07 for a few years after the quality at my previous nail place had drastically gone down hill. I am not one to write a review, especially a nasty one, but today was so below par that I am left quite upset and actually physically injured. When I arrived, the salon was virtually empty- maybe 4/5 clients total, two of which were really just waiting to dry. The technicians seemed disorganized and confused as to who was going to help me, but I didn't mind the extra wait because I was in no hurry. Upon my first dip into the water, the water was SCALDING hot and actually burned my foot (this coming from someone who prefers her water on the hot side.) I flustered to fix it myself before a woman came RUNNING over to me to drain it and start again... Again, at this point not yet fully bothered- mistakes happen. From the second my technician (totally different than the 2 others who got me set up) comes out, I could tell that she was rushed and somehow bothered to be doing my pedicure. Not a fun feeling. The sparkly nail polish I came in with was a bit of a challenge to remove, and I could tell she was quite annoyed and hurried to remove it at any measure... like buffing and filing it off my nails and roughing up most of the skin on my toes in the process. Two of my toes currently hurt to the touch from being so raw. Sidenote: she must have given up because my previous polish actually was never fully removed! Her actions were rushed and half-hearted the entire time (i.e.: barely cleaning the nail, pushing the cuticle, etc.) The massage was MAYBE 2 minutes per leg, and she removed the hot towel before it had even had a chance to cool down... All of this is a quality FAR less than I have come to expect at 07. To add icing on the cake, she cut the corner of my big toe with the cuticle trimmers (without a mention or apology, may I add) and I was bleeding. As I sat waiting for my feet to dry, I was the ONLY client in their salon- so, clearly, there was no reason for her to be in such a hurry. My service from the time I parked my car, paid the meter, was finally helped, and given my pedicure took just under 45minutes! So now I am left with a bleeding toe, raw skin that hurts to the touch, and a subpar pedicure that will probably chip within one week. Super bummed that my go-to place has fallen below their typical standard. I'll be looking for a new nail salon. read more

My one and only time going here. The service was decent. Color selection seemed limited. Why I won't go back? They added charges and never mentioned them before hand. The girl who waited on me barely spoke English which I have no problem with, unless I need to discuss something like this. She didn't understand when I questioned the $5 charge for removing shellac polish which was never once mentioned before the work was done! My feet are still killing me after the paraffin wax that was way too hot! I even told them it was way to hot and painful but they said it was supposed to be hot and would cool quickly. Needless to say that is not ok as the pain has lasted all night and still the next day! Not to mention they didn't even mention the price which almost doubled the price of the pedicure. I guess I'm used to paying somewhere around $50 for a pedicure and shellac manicure that I didn't even think to look... but I walked out of there with a $74 bill, and I didn't even have enough cash to give a proper tip. This salon falsely advertised with a coupon deal for a "Shellac Mani & Pedi" and would not honor the advertised price after being told I could use the coupon. They did not tell me the coupon wouldn't apply until my nails had already been done. Additionally, the nail technician was unprofessional (I could hear her talking about me to other technicians in the salon) and did nothing to rectify the situation when I escalated it to the store manager. I will never come back to this salon due to false advertising and the terrible experience and I recommend you stay away as well! read more

I got a shellac manicure there right before Christmas (on the 19th). It started chipping on the 22nd and I had to take it off entirely and redo my nails on the 24th because it looked so bad. Although I went for the special powder silver shellac and a manicure before my vacation. I went on a Friday the flight out was Monday. The specialtiy shellac was an extra $5 a nail. When I got to Miami on Monday afternoon the silver had started fading to the black shellac under the silver. By the time we had dinner on Monday night the silver shellac as well as the black undertone was starting to chip. By Tuesday the shellac had peeled off completely. I spent $10 for 2 nails and add that to the overly expensive manicure that took all of 5 mins. I paid $45 for a manicure and shellac. I feel ripped off. read more

Had the worst manicure here ever. The girl was so rude and short with me. Is it that hard to make casual conversation when doing someone's nails? The minute I sat down and wrapped my nails up in tin foil and then left. Then she came back and handed me the shellac colors and two minutes later asked me if I had chosen yet. She then sat there annoyed until I picked one. She didn't paint over the end of my nail and she left the sides of the nail bare. This caused it to chip after a few days. Then I tried out their Birmingham location where the guy had a wart on his hand and shared tools with the girl next to me without sterilizing. So disgusting, these places aren't even cheap compared to others in the area. Also charging $10 to soak off polish?? That is unheard of at any other legitimate nail salon. Oh they're also so cheap that when the nail polish bottle is empty they go add stuff to it to make it last longer, I watched her do it... the color which I get all the time looked off and it was shitty. There were lumps and tiny bubbles all over my nails. I have now wasted $100 with this company and might possibly get warts on my hands... needless to say I'll be reporting them to the health department and the state board. Love the basins for pedicures with no jets. This allows for better disinfecting. The pedicure chairs, however are beat up badly and in need of replacement. Cracked vinyl and dirty. I recently stopped going to my normal salon because my nail tech quit, so me and my mother in law have been shopping nail salons. And our search has ended when we found Nails 07. We went there for a pedicure the first time and absolutely loved it! It's very modern inside. It's peaceful and relaxing. When we arrived they greeted us and offered us tea. My nail tech was Julie and she did an amazing job and kept us both happy and laughing the whole time. After we got an amazing pedicure I decided to come back a few days later to get my nails done. This salon only uses organic and natural products, which is awesome! Instead of getting acrylic like I normally do, Julie put a 'dip and powder' on top of the tips and they turned out GREAT! Also I had a request to do black matte nails with a normal black tip and she did exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed with her work and how much time she spent on me to make the nails the way I wanted them. I am very pleased with how they took care of me. Nails 07 is a great salon! read more

My nail tech said that they cut cuticles and when I asked whether that was legal in Michigan she seemed shocked and acted like I was an idiot. Cutting cuticles is unnecessary, unhealthy, and illegal in most states. Service was fine and I did not have a bad experience but the lack of knowledge here is scary. If you decide to cut your cuticles, do so at your own risk, but the nail techs should have a more knowledgeable response when someone requests against this practice. read more

My first time here to get a shellac manicure. The woman who did her nails did not seem to care, and did not seem to understand what "soft square" shape was. When I was done, the ends of my nails were rough, and there was clear shellac on my skin. A day later some of the top coat started to come off, and now two days later I have scuff marks on the tops of my nails. No interest in coming here again. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable thus I could really enjoy my pedicure with a massage end the end. I love the nice chill music. The nail polish on my toes stayed for almost three weeks. I've been to this place several times and had pretty good results, but I'm really disappointed today. Yesterday I went in to get a manicure because I just got engaged. I was talked into a shellac which I've done in the same color once before. The lady kept telling me she couldn't make it totally even even though last time it was. Also she clipped my cuticles so short (even though I didn't want it done) that today several of my fingers are painful. She also cut my nails short as requested, but cut them so short she couldn't actually shape them. As a result, I now have to live with some pretty sub par and unfortunate looking nails for the first few weeks of being engaged. It's pretty hit or miss, so if you want to be sure you get a good result, either make sure you stick with the technician you have good results with, or go somewhere else for important occasions. read more

I came here before & forgot how horrible they are. 1st of all I called & asked if they had the color changing polish they said they did however when I was getting my nails done they said no they didn't. They tell you what u want to hear just so you make the appointment, their prices are higher than average that is why they are not posted. I don't mind paying more for a good job but they do HORRIBLE work. I asked them not to drill my nails several times. They do not understand English & did it anyway so bad that my nails were hurting. The manicurist didn't spend much time on the actual ped...but, due to a sign stating it would be free if it was less than 30 minutes (or something like that) she spent a lot of time rubbing lotion on my legs! I wish I would have believed the reviews before I went there. I paid for convenience and it was so not worth it. I can't believe it was $ 70 for a pedicure and a shellac manicure. My shellac lasted 24 hrs and then started to peel. This was with only 2 coats on. I have gotten shellac plenty of times and have never had one this bad. The pedicure was sub-par for what I received. I can't believe that so many people think that this place is so great. I didn't feel that they cleaned the pedicure tubs well. They sprayed stuff in them and then wiped them with a dirty towel. So gross. I will never go back and will continue to tell people to go to Eco Nails instead. At least I know that they're instruments are cleaned under the right temperatures and then are put in sealed plastic bags. So when they are brought to the customer, they are indeed clean. Eco Nail's pedicures are so much better and less expensive. Lesson learned-don't stray from something that is already good to you! read more

For years I've been going to Studio Nails but after finding this place, I won't be going back. The inside of this place is spectacular, they're friendly and clean. Their biggest bonus is that they have sinks to put your feet in instead of the dirty salon chairs with the tub. By the way, you can contract a foot fungus from those chair/tubs. The staff offered us hot tea and helped us put our boots on after our pedicures. In addition, they do parties and you can bring your own wine in if you choose. My only complaint about this place is that they you can't put your tip on your charge, its cash only. read more

I had read nice reviews of Nail07 so when I had some free time to get a shellac manicure I thought I would give them a try since I couldn't get in to my regular salon for a couple of hours. Nail07's price is $35 for a shellac vs the $30 I was currently paying. I thought, okay the atmosphere is nice and my time is worth it. But when I got there and she told me it was $5 to remove my old shellac polish on top of the manicure price, I said, "No thank you," and left. I haven't heard of charging to remove nail polish whether shellac or not especially if get a manicure. I ended up going to my usual Royal Oak Nails and couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. There are always a lot of people available and all of them really take their time and ensure your satisfied with your experience. We actually brought our wedding party here for a mani/pedi before I was married and they let us set up a mimosa bar in a private area. They are very accommodating and when I was accidentally charged twice for a service they quickly put me in touch with a manager who refunded my money and gifted me with a free lotion. I have been here twice and needless to say, I will not be coming back. Yes, it is a very large, nice and clean facility, but that is where the positives stop. First, 40 dollars for a shellac manicure?? What?? That is very overpriced compared to other nail salons in the area for the service they provide. I felt very rushed and was serviced by 3 different people in order to get me in and out fast (getting seated, giving my manicure, and getting shellac). The man who did my shellac gave me no base coat and there were air bubbles in several of my nails after my mani was complete and also several brush hairs stuck in the polish which you could see because I got a light pink color. Now, one week later, 2 of my nails have chipped. I did not pay 40 dollars for chipped shellac in one week!
