My aunt's friend recommended this place, which was nearby. I'm moving, so after packing and moving things, my hands looked a mess! My thumb nail on one hand was tearing in my nail bed. She fixed it during my gel manicure. I had a basic pedicure with "nail art." Both ladies did a nice job! I love the atmosphere of this salon; the chandeliers and the lighting. The space and it's relaxing. They have a check-in system with an ipad at the door. If I'm in the area, I will come back. I've been here to get my nails done the same way by the same person at least 5 times just for the price to change every time I visited. Love Nails & Wax is new. Super new! They've only been open for about a month on my visit this past Wednesday (2/26/19). It's spacious. There appears to only be 2 nail techs and one lady that does pedicures. I went in for a nice pedicure. I noticed none of the pedicures featured a callus remover treatment so I just went with the basic pedicure. I inquired about callus remover and she said they have it and putted to the word "mint softening cream". They doesn't sound like callus remover to me so I had no idea they had it. Just an FYI if you decide to give them a try. The "softening cream" is their callus remover. I was in and out, maybe 30 mins. In the short 30 mins 4 women came in for a pedicure, 1 fill in and 2 full sets. I'm not sure if they've been before or they were trying them out because they're new. It appears to be a hair salon (well one salon chair) in the back of the salon. They have lots of gel colors and lots of SNS powders. Okay pedicure, nothing to rave about. Went to the salon with my dad and younger sister for the first time and ended up being there for over two hours and not very satisfied. The younger women who did our pedicures and my dad and sisters nails was polite, but did a semi decent job. However, the older woman, Julia, was on the phone with various people the whole time she was doing my fills (one of the gentlemen she was talking to on speaker continued to use inappropriate remarks/language). The conversation alone was very uncomfortable and left me uneasy. She wasn't paying attention to my nails at all and left multiple finger nails uneven, not fully polished and not even a day later did the polish start to come off... they left multiple customers waiting for services as well. I'm pretty sure she had overcharged us and taken the other young woman's tip as well. Very rude staff, I asked for a normal pedicure not gel and the lady got mad at me for not choosing gel. she then starts painting my toes all white when i asked for french rip and when she did french rip it looked HORRIBLE. I hate to be a Karen, but I came here because they had good yelp reviews which I simply don't understand. I would give them 0 stars if I could. DO NOT come here. Place was filthy, clearly not cleaned or disinfected (dust from filing all over the tables and partitions, liquids and powders spilled everywhere in the nail supplies carts). One woman started my nails, then moved to another customer without saying anything and eventually another lady came and had me move to another table. Neither of them washed their hands before starting my nails. I feel a bit bad, the second lady was very nice and friendly for about 5 minutes. Then she was on FaceTime the rest of the time, she was so distracted she cut my finger with her file (picture below). She later sprayed a LOT of polish remover right into the cut which was extremely painful and careless. Once again distracted by FaceTime, she started filing the cut so hard I jumped and pulled my hand away. She hardly wore a mask, she had it on initially and took it off when she got the FaceTime call and there was no partition between us (This is during the Covid mask mandate). There were partitions at all the other stations except hers. All of my nails are different shapes and lengths. I wanted matte top coat on some nails and shiny on others, she mixed them up and then was upset when I asked her to fix it. The glitter color I chose was so dry it was clumpy and she used it anyway, I had to ask for a different color and it's not what I wanted (she only gave me about 4 options when they had many others). One of my nails is so bumpy it literally looks like a raisin (picture below). The acrylic and nail glue is all over the skin around my nails. My fingers are so sore they're throbbing. I've been getting acrylic nails biweekly for 5 years, and I've never had an experience this bad. Definitely NOT worth $50. I will be going to another salon to get them fixed. Please be cautious of coming here. Super bummed about this :( read more

The owner of the nail spa and the owner of the hair salon we're fighting about rent money while I was getting a pedicure. The lady doing my pedicure didn't pay attention because of the mess that was happening. It was really awkward. I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I even cancelled my manicure. I have come here around 5-7x now and my nails usually turn out fine, I'm not really picky so I usually like them and always tip well. I had Julie this time (I've had her 2-3 times before) and she seemed in a rush and literally slapped some acrylics on so poorly the tips are still glued to my skin and the French tips are so obviously uneven/crooked and bad. I just can't believe someone would do just an obviously poor job and pretend nothing is wrong especially to a client that comes in often.
