The best little kept nail secret in Denver (I hesitate even posting this for fear it'll explode, lol)! Kevin is THE BEST when it comes to fake nails, he is a must for pink/white or regular I am super picky and even tho I've moved to Lakewood, I still make the drive to see him! All of the ladies are so good doing pedi's that I never have to worry...massages are awesome and long, they use fresh sterilized tools and everyone is always super friendly! For years I have been searching for a good, cheap, no-appt-necessary eyebrow wax in Denver. I have tried dozens, and have consequently spent most of the past decade walking around with uneven eyebrows. Finally, I found this place. I have been twice, had two different techs, and both times my brows were perfectly even. All for $9. Phew. The only odd thing is that they sort of accost you when you come out of the wax room in the back, demanding that you pay "right there". Not a big deal, really, just a little uncomfortable. On the subject, they let you put the tip on your credit card without comment, which is great. read more

I was surprised at how reasonably priced my gel manicure ($25) and regular pedicure was today! I have paid a minimum of $40 for a crappy gel manicure in the past... Being my first time and the cheap prices, I was not expecting much, but was so surprised! Sy did a wonderful and detailed job! I have paid much more, for much less in the past, so I'm happy I've finally found a nail salon whose services are so great. The salon isn't fancy, but it's clean and was not crowded when I was there. Ok so ive been getting my nails did here for about 6+ years. Im about the most picky person when it comes to my nails, i Like them med length, a natural curve and super square. (pink and white) I also do hair for a living, so in the end result when they put the buffing cream on....my nails do NOT turn yellow from working w/hair color. Both Kevin and V are Amazing w/super high maintenance clients, as im sure they think i am....its ok! Im also super picky w/my toes, i see Gwen, but all the Girls are Awesome! If u want a Spa-Pedi and only pay $35...for a 45 min service....their the BEST...They, paraffin, hot towel, exfoliate, give a super long massage and hook up the toes with cute, cute designs. This place gave me the BEST and FASTEST full set I have ever gotten! As many people know, going to a "sweatshop nail factory" as I call them (where there are a handful of manicurists who don't speak English, don't attempt to talk to you, and do your nails as fast as they can before moving on to the next anonymous customer) can be a dangerous thing. Because the technicians move SO fast you are likely to get rubbed the wrong way by a nail file, get cut by the drill bit, or burned by primer. But NONE of this happend, even though Nails Blvd could qualify as a so-called sweatshop nail place! I have very sensitive skin, so I was releived to not have to tell the manicurist "ouch not so hard!" Besides this, they have comparable prices to other salons, and do the best "pink and white" I have ever gotten - good enough for a very special occasion (i.e. wedding!) I met a girl in Cherry Creek mall who worked at Aldo, and complimented her on her nails. She said she had gone to Nails Blvd for over 5 years and had always seen Nikki. Even though I didn't get Nikki, I still recommend this place, and will keep going. read more

I've been going to this location for more years than I care to admit. They've always done a good job. But I believe they changed owners. They used to have many nail techs and now there's only three..on a good day. Every time I go lately, I'm rushed through like a cattle. You used to get a nice relaxing pedicure like it should be with exfoliating scrub and a nice leg massage. No more. When they're busy and have allot of walk-ins, they rush through it, even if you'd made an appointment. I think myast mani-pedi took all of about 20 .inutes. Even when you're the only one in there, they still rush through. So disappointing. Time to find a new place. read more

If you want to get dirty looks when you walk in (even though you called in advance to say you were coming), be convinced that the technicians are talking about you (based on all the time they spend looking up and gesturing at you for reasons that will remain unclear), feel rushed the entire time while getting a manicure and pedicure all at once (despite the lack of a line or other customers), and get cut and scraped during the course of your pedicure, then, yeah, totally go here. read more

I just love getting my nails done here. I have been going to get my nails done by Kevin (and sometimes V) for at least 8 years. Kevin does a great job with Pink and Whites and they last for weeks. Although, he has had some turn over with the women that give pedicures I have been very happy getting my pedis from Lee. I highly reccomend this shop because he does a great job with nails and they also have the nice relaxing pedi chairs. I know for a fact he has air conditioning and he is very flexible with closing the door and turning on the air if requested- personally I like the fresh air on nice days. read more

I have gone to this Nail salon, for a number of years. It is close to home, nice chairs and the staff have always been very nice and do a good job. I stopped in a few weeks ago, with my 17 year old niece, for a treat for a mani/pedi and in preperation for a beach vacation. A newer person, that I had not met before, was assigned to my pedicure. When I told her what I wanted (gel manicure, regular pedicure both french) she argued with me and kept insisting I needed the higher priced (deluxe and gel on both) services. I repeatedly indicated that I knew what I wanted. She made negative comments throughout, never said please or thank you and then at one point grabbed my foot and slammed it in the water. Finally, I said "do we have a problem" to which she did not reply and began singing loudly in Vietnamese. At one point she just got up and walked outside with her cell phone. Did not remove toe seperators, did not say good by or thank you and did not help with shoes. The owner came over and indicated that he had overhead and that it was clear there was a problem. I indicated there were many and that I was very unhappy. He said "he would talk to her" later. I paid for all of the services, left 20% tips for the other staff and left. The pedicure proceeded to come off very quickly and I believe she did not put the normal number of coats of clear polish on, to make her points. Just awful experience. Very upsetting and think the owner did a very bad job of trying to address and resolve the issue. Sadly, I will be finding a new place read more

While the salon was clean and I was able to get an appointment right away, I found that they were surprisingly expensive. I went in to get a leg wax, a bikini wax and a pedicure and they wound up charging me $110. They advertise that they did brazilian waxes but they did not provide the service they advertised. They did an okay job but I have paid much less in Hollywood, CA, Santa Monica, San Francisco and the West Village in Manhattan. I was a little staggered at the prices. read more

I always go here to get gel manicures and waxing done, I always leave satisfied they do a great job with eyebrows, my only complaint is that the massage is pretty weak if you could call it a massage at all which is the best part of the manicure! read more

I stopped in at 5 pm to get a basic manicure. My nails were in good shape, just needed to have some cleaning of old polish I had removed myself. then I hoped to have a nice matte red put on. The manicurist used tools taken from a little cosmetic bag that did not look clean. I saw no disinfectant solution at her station. Her emery board had old nail residue on it. She took a cuticle tool and ravaged my cuticles to the point of bleeding. the blood was evident as she wiped it the towel. I pulled back and asked her abut the blood. She prepared a cotton swab with nail polish remover on it for me to wipe my cuticles. That is when I stood up, reported the situation to the owner/manager (male Asian), and prepared to leave. He simply apologized but took no other action. We can assume that this is routine practice here. read more

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing, I used to work at the Jamba Juice near Nails Blvd and was introduced to it by a co-worker and have enjoyed this darling place ever since. Even though I don't work at Jamba anymore, I still frequent this nail salon only because they are quick and do such a beautiful job and understand how I like my nails---which I usually just get the American style to make my nails look natural and shinny. Ha, ha. I recommend this place to all those who want great service in a speedy fashion. And trust me, I have already been to two other salons and dislike their service only because they are nothing like Nails Blvd. Just go try it out. read more

First time I went here was great. She was very meticulous with my shellac. This time they got a rush of people and another lady was very bitchy and rushed through my shellac to the point that there are bubbles. I will pay but not too more than 10% and will not be back. read more

To be clear, the service is very good and the place was well cleaned. Though, I must said that there is is a problem every time I make my payment. When I used my card, the card did not work and I had to pay using cash, which I have to walk to a nearby ATM machine to get. A year ago, I would have given this place 5 stars, as I have been a loyal customer there for the last 5 years. In the last 6 months, this place has gone downhill fast. I get pink and white acrylics and have them filled about once a month. In the past, I have never had a preference who did them, as everyone was consistently good. More recently, they have gotten a lot of new staff, and quite frankly, their work is slow and sub-par. Last weekend, I showed up for a fill on my pink and whites and a pedicure. I was told to wait 5 minutes, which I was happy to do, and when the girl finally called me over to the nail station, she was rude and then started yelling at another girl doing a pedicure and then gruffly told me I was going to have to come back in an hour, as they were too busy to do my nails. I let them know I would not be returning (ever) to their nail salon and they just let me walk out the door. So much for customer loyalty. read more
