It is too bad that this salon was sold. They really had a good thing going for a really long time with an excellent owner, outstanding nail technicians and a great environment. The new owner immediately raised prices significantly. $35 for a basic manicure that takes twenty minutes is very steep when you consider the total to be $40+ with tip. It was nice while it lasted but it is a good time to find a more reasonably priced salon. Like so many things in Denver now, the juice ain't worth the squeeze anymore. I am sure this salon will continue to do well in this location provided the nails techs continue to be excellent. And it would be a good idea for the new ownership to get to know the clientele. Their business model is earn a dollar at any cost rather than providing excellent service with return costumers. I booked a pedicure and morning of woke up with sore throat, cough and fever. I called 3 times without answer to cancel and was told on the 4th call I needed to come in otherwise would be charged full price of the service. As a healthcare worker, I am appalled with the disregard to the communities health and customer service. To say I won't be returning is an understatement and will ensure the state of Colorado follows up with their practices. read more

I am very disappointed in this nail salon. I have been going here since they opened and have brought many friends in. I got a black and blue toe a year and half ago so they refused to give me a pedicure thinking it might be infected. I respected that. Then they said I was basically banned until I got a doctor's note. Now over a year and half later, and my toe nail since falling off because it was black and blue from sports and has been happening my whole life, and they still refuse to even look at it and still banned me without a doctor's note. If they bothered to look, they would have seen it was just fine, but now they have lost a long time customer. Plus they severely raised their fees so there are many other places that want want business. The gals here are great though. read more

From the minute I arrived it was a very unpleasant experience. I usually go to another salon but waited too long to book before the holiday. First, I couldn't even touch nail polish until washing my hands which was symbolic as the water was luke warm and the soap wasn't disinfectant. Crazy. They should be worried about so much more like properly cleaning after each customer. Every worker in the salon was wearing a mask like it was Covid again. That made me nervous too. Maybe they should have handed me a mask instead of asking me to wash my hands The pedicure--sub par and painful. They don't use callous remover and it was a painful scrub )my feet have very few callouses). She wanted to clip my nails below the skin to "make them even". Uh no to that. She then filed them and kept hitting my skin. All she needed to do was not be so aggressive with the clippers. I walked out with uneven nails and abrasions from the filing. Loved getting pampered today with my good friend! We went for pedicures and had a great experience. We made reservations ahead of time but a friend couldn't join so we did have to pay the "no show" fee(the price of the missed pedi). We didn't mind the fee, totally understandable. We checked in, picked our polish and sat in the pedicure chairs. We were also offered a drink as well, which was nice! The gals that did our pedis were the best! Jenny and Yuki (I believe that was her name, she was doing my friends Pedi and I forgot to introduce myself). They were so friendly and fun and did a great job on our toes! This is the best nail spa I've found in Denver! Everyone was so friendly and Bulan did a great job on my dip manicure. All the mail techs were welcoming to walk ins and those with appointments, which isn't always the case at some salons. Bulan was really careful with the drill and made sure to be gentle since my natural nails are weak right now. All the nail techs were joking with each other and seemed to get along and spoke to each other in English (since I know sometimes people think they're talking about the customers when they're not speaking English). Overall, the atmosphere was really positive and the salon was super clean. Bulan also made sure I liked the length, shape and color of my nails before proceeding to the next step. I felt like she actually understood what I wanted and didn't rush me. The price was $55 for a dip mani + $10 for dip removal. read more

Since my first negative review got taken down because the business harassed yelp to get it removed, I once again I'm here to tell people to not go to this company for services. Owners are incredibly unprofessional and rude. If you decide to leave a bad review, they will harass you personally through text messages. I attempted to do business with this company and the wife shut it down because she didn't like me or my work which she had never seen or spoken to me. The fact that they have now harassed yelp to get my previous review removed, as well as harassed me personally shows a lot about the character of this organization and the depth they will go to to try and protect their bad behavior from public view. I usually do not write reviews but I had quite the subpar experience at this nail salon. I had high hopes for this place because of the good reviews and high quality nails in the pictures, but my experience was quite the opposite. Firstly, it seemed that my nail technician did not know anything about powder dip nails. It took her an hour to remove my nails because she tried using only acetone rather than the nail filing drill that is typically used to remove dip. She scrubbed so hard that she bruised my fingertips, leaving them extremely sore for the next two days. The entire time she was removing them, she kept complaining about how long it was taking, which made me feel awkward. When applying the new dip, she seemed to rush through the process and not complete the steps that are typically done for dip nails (no drill buffing before application, no clear powder layer, no drill buffing to refine the powder). She did not apply the powder down to my cuticles, so I was left with nails that had already looked grown out. Additionally, I was left with a ton of residue on my hands that I had to manually remove after leaving. Overall, I am disappointed that I paid $75 to have dip nails done by someone who didn't seem properly trained in the process. I've been getting dip nails for a year and a half now, and this is the worst manicure I've ever had. I really wanted to like this place, but if you are getting dip/powder nails, I would not recommend this salon. Update: one of the nails already broke off. read more

She started my pedicure without even having me soak my feet first, I have never experienced that. They say that tipping is optional but will block your account if you don't tip every single time. On their website it says that if you don't want to tip choose "no preference" for your tech but then they tell you that you have to tip. If you get regular nail polish, it'll start chipping very quickly. read more

Is $48 for a gel manicure ($43 + $5 removal) a ridiculous price to pay? Yes, especially because we were paying around $30 just 3 years ago (and some places in South Denver do still charge around $30). BUT -- for $48, you do get good customer service and nails that last and don't chip. The place is super clean, everything is disinfected after each use, and staff STILL wear masks. All the techs (for the most part) are good, but April is probably the best. Also, you're definitely paying a bit of that Wash Park premium. I rated this place a one, I believe the receptionist is very personable, but overall experience was not good. I called this salon so I could send my wife and her friend over to get nail work done for my wife's birthday. Since it was a surprise I had to arrange for a card on file prior to the service. The receptionist was helpful, I told the receptionist that I'm not sure what type of services they are going to want accept I know they will want nails done, so assuming that they could accommodate them with whatever they needed I asked for a time slot on Sunday. The receptionist was fully aware of the situation, due to the online booking that they reserved me under, my wife arrived and asked for manicure and pedicure for her friend and they said no because they only had time for one service. So my wife was only able to get one service done, while getting the service she noticed two other ladies come in and she heard the receptionist say they were walking ins, they asked for multiple services and they accommodated them. This was pretty offensive to my wife. On top of all that she said the service was not done the greatest, very rushed. I was so disappointed after reading all the wonderful reviews. I think my technician who was a little older, and it was kind of a busy day, was just a little irritated and bothered and maybe tired. . She cut my toenails way too short then proceeded to continue to file them further down. I told her twice that it hurt. The way she rushed the whole process, the uncomfortable wet towels, and yes you can tell when people talk about you in another language as I requested something, the two second hot rock action, not sue why she bothered. And to top it off my polish doesn't even look that great, not sure she did two coats, has bumps in the polish, and doesn't even look shiny. Super sad as I was excited about this place.
