The service was fast because it was empty; no wait. I was attracted to the introductory sale prices but I should have kept walking. The polish is of poor quality and the nail filing last 1/2 a day and then snagged, at least 4. They lack personality. They were more friendly with two male customers. The massage chairs were very used for a new store. If you're looking for a last minute budget experience bring your own gel or regular polish and make sure you pay attention to how they file your nails. Also, if you like a nice leg massage with your pedicure expect no more than three minutes per leg with minimal interest in doing it. read more

It was my first time being here and it was very close to my house so I thought why not try a new place, I was wrong to do so! Yes the place was clean and the staff was nice but they do not know how to do tips and anything special! This first picture is what I wanted and the second is what I got! My nails look nothing like I wanted. After trying to do an easy ombré she ended up doing a horrible French. She didn't tell me that she couldn't do the ombré so I had no idea! The first woman didn't know how to put tips on and messed on them. My tips are still crooked. The second woman tried to fix them but it wasn't any better. At the end of the experience, the woman said she was sorry!! Why would you tell me sorry and still tell me to pay the full price Which was $55! She didn't even offer me the 20% off which is what the new customers discount!! Never again will I come here! read more

I loved the laid back atmosphere, but question the sanitation practices. The first gel I got was cracking in the first few days. I went back to have it fixed (EVERY NAIL HAD CRACKS IN THE PAINT AT MY FINGERTIPS) they fixed them and then told me I had to pay. I had to make a deal of it just to pay $15 they said it was probably my fault. WELL the one they "fixed" looks horrible four days after as well. And for the record it wasn't my fault, I've been getting gels consistently for years and didn't even cook or clean at all last week. Pictures are from 4 days post gel manicure. read more

I recently switched to Nail Art for my mani/pedis. They have a big variety of colors-regular nail polish-many gel and powder colors as well. I like that they take the time to soak off your gel polish so there is less scraping of your nail bed. My manis and pedis have lasted over 2 weeks with no chips. The salon is very clean, laid back and comfortable. There is no hard sell for higher priced services. They either have tv or music on which adds to the atmosphere. I highly recommend! read more

I have been to Nail Art a few times already and each time I have had great results. I first went on the day of my wedding for a powder gel manicure. The gel and tips lasted for four weeks including 2 weeks in Southeast Asia without falling off or chipping. At other salons, I am lucky to go two weeks without a gel manicure peeling or chipping off. So I knew this place was legit. Each time I have gone, the ladies are super sweet and very hard working. They are very thorough with buffing and clipping, so be sure to speak up if it's too rough. The places in my neighbor are too delicate with the pedicures, almost like they are just washing my feet so I appreciate the ladies at Nail Art being thorough. I don't live in the area but anytime I am in Rockland and needing some nail maintenance, I will always stop in. Highly recommended! read more

I've been using this nail salon for about a year and a half now, and I have always been very happy with their service and the results. I see some people have left bad reviews based on gels and tips, etc., and their children being present. First, I get simple manicures, and spa pedicures, so I cant personally attest to how well they do ombre nails, and such, but there are always other people present having gels, powders, tips etc., done when I'm there, and they seem happy. As for the children, they are sweet and well behaved little girls, who are only there occasionally. Are they sitting like statues? No. But if you are someone who is bothered by the sound of children's laughter, well then, it would probably take more than a good manicure to make you happy anyway. What I personally have experienced at this nail salon, is consistently good customer service. I think most of us have probably been to nail salons where the attitude seems to be that THEY are doing US, the paying customer a favor. The ladies at Nail Art are ALWAYS friendly and polite. The salon is clean. They open a brand new pack of files/buffers for each customer at every visit. Non-disposable utensils seem to be sanitized properly. I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure here, and I always leave happy and relaxed. read more

I went there for the first time yesterday, they were supposed to do my nails and toes, they only did my toes because I was there for over an hour and half so I had to leave. Made an appointment for 9 am today and they were not there. When they finally got there another she started my tips and was so rough because she is using a regular nail file. The customer next to me asked what I was getting done, the nail tech that was spring her nails says it cost $40. My nail tech said no it's $55 so you can get a tip. That is unprofessional you don't make up prices as you go along. And my nails look horrible. read more

Made an appointment for a pedi and turned up on time. The lady sat me down and got about a quarter of the way through when another appointment walked in. She promptly told me to put both feet in the water and got up and started tending to the other appointment. I sat there for 20 minutes before realizing that I was not going to be helped any further. I was literally just left to soak my feet. So finally I asked. She said "sorry but she had an appointment". Which was very confusing because I also had an appointment and was there first. I asked how long I was to sit and wait and she asked if I could come back at 5pm. Mind you, the appt was for 2pm. No chance in hell I would have come back at 5pm and to be quite frank - ever again. I've been a long standing customer of this salon and could not believe that I was being discarded and left for my feet to literally shrivel while I soaked. Absolutely absurd! Manage your appointment book better and don't treat customers with such little regard. read more
