Pedicure was fine. Always like the leg and foot massage and the nails look good when I am done. No more waxing here however. They have burned me twice now with the wax below my eyebrows then they wax me. read more

Asked for my nails a certain way which was short and a milky white color. & nail lady couldn't do that. I will provide pictures.* they didn't have my color so she recommended nude okay cool, after putting the color on I wanted them square square, not square round or what she wanted to do to my nails. (Mind you I showed how I wanted my nails before) so she finished with square round and lady got mad at me because I was unhappy about my nails, she try's to fix it still not like the picture at this point I'm in the nail shop for 3 hours I'm ready to go. I go to pay and this lady charged me $50 for some short ugly nails, like tf I DONT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. & I will not be back !!!! read more

Do you know the show cheers where everybody knows your name? That's nails by Emily in Atascocita. I went there one time it didn't show back up for over a year. When I open the door one of the employees yelled out my name "it's Stu". That made me feel very special, I sat down in the chair for my pedicure and then I realized they do that to every single person that comes in the door.! If I could give them negative stars I would !!!!! I should of known, something was wrong when they didn't have my appointment (which I had made 20 mins earlier) and it was empty (no clients). They cut me 5x, the shape and length all wrong. The second lady really tried fixing but there was no hope after the first lady completely messed it up. I had to walk out unfinished!!!! The ladies here are super friendly and courteous! They are so easily accommodating and I have never been disappointed. I've gotten regular manicures, gel manicures, regular pedicures, gel pedicures, a facial, and tried their waxing a few times. I think their gel manicures are the best. I don't like solar nails because of the removal process, but a gel manicure looks just as good! read more

Needed a wax fix, and I went into this place not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. The prices are reasonable, $7 for eyebrows and $5 for around the lip. Just passing the place on W Lake Houston, I just walked in and they helped me right away and I really appreciated that since I was in a bit of a hurry. Like any places like these it felt normal until she started to pat down on the places after she pulled the strip was a bit hard, but just inform her to not do it that hard. She put aloe vera after because my skin is a little sensitive and that was nice. Nice ladies and they get the job done, I'll visit again! read more

Disappointing! My daughter Went for a fill and pedicure. They added services without telling her the prices or that there was a charge. So added charges for cuticle trimming, neck massage, manicure, etc ran the bill up to $125. Her usual nail salon doesn't charge for these. It was a shock when she went to pay. read more

Run away!! The girl cut me with the tool, kept bleeding horrible! she wanted to dump alcohol on it! but I decided to wash the cut with soap,I also got fungus! Never had had fungus in my life! I am so disgusted! I have been having gel nails for the past 10 years, moved to this area and decided to give them a try! What a mistake!! the tools used by the nail professionals at the salons may be the reason behind the acrylic nail fungus. The salon professional use the same tools for all their customers. Now, the fungi present in the tools can infect you when you go there. read more

No one is ever 'just a customer' and no customer is interchangeable. The women who work here reflect the kind-heartedness and generous spirit of the owner, Emily. If you are really fortunate, you'll be there on Customer Appreciation Day when there is food, drink, and fellowship reflecting their genuine joy in serving the community. I travel extensively but try to wait until I'm home for nail care because I feel so valued here. Also, please note that the prices are readily displayed. I noticed a review which indicated that someone was confused by the fact that multiple add-on services were not freely included with a simple pedicure. I don't know how anyone could be confused by this and cannot imagine there was any type of aggressive up selling or subterfuge by the wonderful women at this salon. I am a regular at Nails by Emily for OPI gel manicures. I especially like Bambi as my nail tech. She has done my eyebrows and pedicures, too, and I am a satisfied customer. The shop is CLEAN, the prices are the same as everywhere else in the area and the staff on the whole is friendly. Also, they are open on Sunday which is a plus. read more
