I have been here multiple times since it's opened and it's usually an okay experience. The two female owners are pretty nice and if you're lucky to get them, then you're probably good. But today I had a gentleman do my pedicure and he dug so hard with the cuticle clippers, it bled under the skin. He was oblivious to my concerns and I switched my pedicure from the deluxe (with the paraffin wax) to regular because I didn't want hot wax getting into an injured area. He seemed upset after this, finished painting my toenails and didn't even bother helping me put my slides on or moving to the nail station to get my nails done. The nail tech (she answers the phone often, I think she is a part owner) was pretty good but there is a defect with one nail that I didn't feel like saying anything about after the pedicure. I just wanted it to be done and over with. The time I had been there before, a nail tech left ton of bubbles and a black speck on my very pail shellac manicure. When I started pointing it out, she said it would be fine when it dried. It did not look fine. It was so bad, after I left I looked at it as it settled and then went back. The owner was really nice and redid them for me herself. Not to mention that today one of the nail techs was coughing so bad (as she did someone else's manicure), she got up several times to go cough in the back. These services are not cheap. We pay for a quality experience. Not only do I not want to be injured or get sick, the experience overall was just sub-par. There are plenty of nail salons in the area and I will be looking for another one. Very disappointed as it seems there has been a definite decline and I've been a patron since the beginning. read more

My partner and I went for a Manicure and a pedicure on a Sunday. We were walk ins and they took us though it was a little over an hour before their closing time. They were so good to my partner and I, even knowing they were staying late for us, they never made us feel bad or guilty (though when I realized it, I did) Our service was amazing and the end result is utterly satisfying. I have been to a handful of salons looking for the right place and I think finally found the right fit for us. I have been coming here for a few years now. The owner's Melissa and Mary. Melissa is amazing at ingrown toe nails, she is able to fix mine without having me cry like a baby. Mary is the only one my husband will see but he will be writing about her separately. We have tried so many other places over the years and come back here every time because of the level of care that they take with our safety and well being. When COVID struck they put up plastic barriers for the customers at the nail stations. They installed curtains at the Pedicure/Massage chair stations. They required folks to wear masks as they have a lot of seniors who visit and are more vulnerable. They also do full service waxing in a private room. read more

Great pedicures, the gentleman did a fantastic job. Eh gel manicure, horrible. Top coat had streaks and overall lumpy, also painted onto the cuticles and edges so lifting. She ruined my nail beds and cuticles, so many hangnails and cut up skin :( Now trying to recover and heal to get my hands looking nice again. Unfortunately I won't be back after this incident. It had the best reviews, and I really appreciated the extensive gallery they offer. It really shows the quality and skill you can expect when you go. Definitely a deciding factor when I was looking for a new nail place. Anyways, I had a great experience. The salon was very clean when I walked in. The staff was very friendly. I went during the week so they were not super busy. I asked for a full set of color powder nails. The technician who did my nails was Jessica. She was a very meticulous technician. I appreciate how she didn't rush doing my nails, and she took the time to double check everything. I've had my nails done for years by many different techs. I have to say, Jessica was one of the most detail-oriented. I cannot express enough how much I appreciated the time she took to make my nails perfect. I actually made an appointment later in the evening for my mom and I to get pedicures. We had different folks that did our pedicures, and they too were amazing! This place stays super busy so I highly recommend making an appointment if you can. You will not be disappointed. Except for the nail dipping time, other visits were satisfactory, however what is not satisfactory is not to be helped in the two times I was there today. A few weeks ago same happened, i went in as a walk in and they are too busy, ask me to come back later. I visited Silk Nails twice and the first time had a pleasant experience it was on a weekend and the service was as it would be at any other nail salon. The second time not so much, it was my niece's birthday and it was her choice to have her nails done and Silk Nails was close & I figured I would have the same experience as the time before. We had a wait which wasn't a huge issue but it was a weekday so kind of unexpected. Once we were seated our service was so rushed. They had my niece reach down from the pedicure chair so they could do her nails slouched down instead of the technician doing it on the side of the pedicure chair or a nail booth. The nail polish was all over her cuticle area. I had to tell the technician working on my nails that the shape of my nail was crooked. Overall, the experience wasn't great. I had a refill with shellac nail polish and a pedicure my niece had a regular manicure/pedicure and I walked out paying $90. I was trying to find something closer to home but I guess I'll have to drive back to the heights area to get a good manicure with decent service. Maybe if you book Linda as everyone else does in the other reviews you'll be fine but otherwise, time and money was wasted here. read more

I have been a regular at this place for a while and usually, they do a decent job. This time around I had a very young nail tech who did, again, a decent job of giving me a pedicure. However, had a foul attitude at the end of the service because I moved my leg ever so slightly to help her slip on my sandals. She asked me to 'look away' from my leg, while pointing towards the ceiling rudely. While I would have been happy to follow her instructions if given with a smile or if a 'please' had been added, I leave an unhappy customer. I certainly will not be back after the poor customer service. Responding to the Owner: Thank you for your quick response. I do appreciate your apology. I came to the US a few years back and I empathize with her. She spoke the language efficiently and was able to communicate with me throughout the service. Me and my sister got the same nails and they charged her $25 and me $55... When it was time to pay they said her card wasn't working so I had to pay for her and her new price came out to be $30. Later that day we found out it did charge her card $25. So I paid 3 prices. I called the salon and they told me to send them the pictures of the charges on my account and hers and it's been days and still haven't heard back. This was my second time at this place and unfortunately it didn't go well. The lady that did my nails (pedicure & full nail set) was very tough, almost rude. She got frustrated at me couple of times because I wanted my nails shorter and she didn't think they should be that short. Also, I wanted the cheapest pedicure spa but she insisted I needed the 35 package. She made comments several times about how short my toe nails were! At some point I thought she was done with pedicure and when I tried to pull my jeans down my legs, she said: don't you know how this works?! I ended up spending 80 dollars plus tip for 2 services I normally pay 60. Not to mention I have almost every single finger hurt, she was so rough filing my cuticles that I ended with damaged fingers. Customer service needs to improve! I came in for a pedicure and dip. I don't understand why the nail technician didn't start soaking my nails while I was getting my pedicure to make a good use of time and considering she didn't have any other customers. When my pedicure was done and I was in the nail technician's chair, she started removing my initial nail polish. She stopped in the middle of doing my second hand and had me move a few chairs over without an explanation. Then she just started on another customer. I was upset but a few minutes later a person came in from outside and took off my remaining polish and got my nails soaking. Imagine my surprise when she then left...no explanation again. Only when my original technician finished with the person I was moved for, she came to me to ask about my dip color choices. Too early to give it five stars, I think not! This place has all the up-to-date technology and well-trained staff. I truly enjoyed myself getting in full service at a decent rate. The chairs, lights, ambiance and more will throw you into a forever relaxing trance. The staff are all amazingly kind and hospitable. They offer free beverages including wine! I am a customer who values the quality of the service as well as the environment of the spa and both are positive feedback. I recommend all my friends especially whom are men and in need of that treatment of cleanse and rejuvenation. I had Linda and she was an incredible person who knew what I needed.
