I honestly think she did it on purpose, hoping I'd change my mind after she'd already cut them off and let her do a $60+ acrylic service instead. I can't prove it, but that was definitely the vibe I got since she just kept trying to push acrylics. I should have just been patient and gone to my nail lady in Orange County. Instead, I left with extremely short nails because she couldn't just listen. On top of that, I was told the wait for a walk-in would be 10-15 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but just be transparent about the wait time so customers know what to expect. Regardless of her pushing acrylics and basically ruining my natural nails, I still got the exact service I originally asked for. So no, she didn't get the $60+ acrylic service, and she didn't get a tip either. Listen to the customer instead of just doing what you want. If someone says they want to keep their natural nails, respect that. Customers are coming to you for a service they requested, not for you to decide what you think they should get. I called Davi to request a same day pedicure appointment with Vivian, and a very polite man answered all my questions and got me in that day. He was a great first impression and it only got better from there. Vivian was such a pleasure to talk with and gave me a really wonderful pedicure. Her polish application was perfect and her massage was really great as well.
