Getting an acrylic set is always a hit or miss no matter where you go due to how thick they can come out, and I do think mine came out a little thicker than I hoped this time. I really like the color I chose and that I got the cats-eye design, but what drops my rating is the price of $150 without tip (for a classic pedi with new gel, acrylic set with gel, and catseye design) and the lesser attention to the small details. I wish all my nails' shape were sharper and less rounded at the tip, and that my thumbnails weren't two different sizes. It's hard to notice those imperfections in the salon so it's unfortunate that I only notice once I leave and came really look at them. Honestly it's the price that gets me. The owner (lady) greeted me and assigned her daughter to work on me. I had to greet her daughter before she said anything to me. I asked for a pink base French and I got a clear base when she did my pedicure. After completing my pedicure she was trying to put my flip flops on (they were a little snug) and she said don't move your toes. I accidentally moved them and damaged the polish on my big toe. This gal (the owner's daughter) stood up, sucked in air through her mouth like she was about to hyperventilate! She scolded me by saying I told you not to move your toes! Then she tried slipping on the second flip flop and I was certain not to move my toes this time after already being scolded once. This time my toe was caught in my flip flopmand damaged the polish on another toe. She proceeded to scold me again and I said I did not move my toes but she caught it on the flip flop. She responded saying, the first time, I could get over it! Then she used her rubber glove to mash down the first oops, and said this one will be fine. She fixed the second one. Now, the one she left has a rough, texture to it. I'm sure I'm not the first person who has gone in with snug flip flops or sandals. Why would they not provide the disposable foam pedicure flip flops so this isn't an issue. Next, she starts on my gel manicure and I could tell she was nicking my cuticles. When she was ready to put on the base color for the French manicure, I noticed she was using clear again not the sheer pink I asked for when I walked in (I know for a fact that her mom told her I wanted a pink base). After telling her again, she finally put on the sheer pink base. This visit with the bundle discount cost $100. When I left that day, I could see that she got gel polish past the edge of my nail and onto my cuticles and I could feel a bubbly texture on each fingernail. By Saturday (3 days later) my gel manicure had air pockets in them. She did the most awful job plus she was extremely rude! I would never go back. Take your business elsewhere!

My husband didn't have time to hunt for another place because, when supporting a person with dementia, you can't just have their schedule be too disrupted.
