I usually have this done with (excellent) Julia but was not available even though I had specifically requested her when I called for an appointment, but she ended up being double booked. You can tell Bella Noté was absolutely beautiful when first built, but is already starting to show signs of wear and tear. The nail tech was fantastic. The front desk gal alarmed me initially during an interaction where she implied we might not be able to be seated when our appointment time was, but we were, and she redeemed herself with good customer service at the end. For a #2 pedicure, you're looking at about 70-something dollars with tip which is on the higher end, but not the highest. read more

I tried Bella Note Nail Bar on Johns! This is a beautiful location. I was passing by on a Saturday then decided to go in. I was told they had appointment options online, so I booked for a Sunday. I arrived for my appointment on Sunday and no one seemed to know why I was there. I thought since I booked online they would know or expect me. I booked specific associates and it wasn't honored until I reminded them. It was really disorganized. Maybe due to the new opening. The person doing my nails was not talkative or welcoming. It was silent. My nails were ok. The massage chairs are great! My pedicure was ok as well. The decor is what makes this place the best, I might stick to my shop in west Ashley, but I do like having an option on the island. I will go here if needed. read more

The first time I came here it was amazing. The gentleman took his time and did everything right. The second time I visited I brought my daughter for her going to school gift. We had appointments, they seemed to be behind without any explanation. My daughter was tended to as I had to wait for 40 min before anyone was available. My pedi was decent. My mani was rushed, they had to switch people and step away a few times. I did the dazzle dry manicure. Mind you I've had this before and it lasted for a few weeks and did great. I'm currently 2 days in and already chipping. I'm unsure of it was the rush job, the switching of people or what...overall the price is quite a lot. I expected quite a bit based on my prior experience. Unsure if I'll return. read more

I won't be back. I called and scheduled appt for gel x manicure. I got there, confirmed my appt for gel x...manicure starts and they were doing just gel polish. I corrected them and they had to restart but luckily hadn't done too much. The appt still ended up taking TWO HOURS. And I didn't even have nails on or polish to remove. I then tried to make an appt for the following night for two pedicures despite the manicure challenges, and the receptionist told me 630pm was too close to when they close even though the manicurist told me they would do it. I said I would go somewhere else. The person who did my nails was very nice, however it's been two weeks and one nail already fell off. Gel x usually lasts me 4-5 weeks! Very disappointed in overall experience from this place. read more

The receptionist was incredibly rude. Said we would need to wait 20 minutes but almost an hour later, there was no update. When I politely asked if she knew how much longer, she said, 20 more minutes. She didn't even look at us when we spoke to her, didn't bother to check with technicians, her tone was so rude. We waited another half hour and then decided to leave. They are not honest. When we got there she asked if we would want to take a complimentary drink they offer with the services, when we said yes, she seemed incredibly annoyed and put upon that she had to get up to get us a drink. Not to mention she gave us a completely wrong drink. I've gotten a service there once before and at that time, the technician was incredibly rude. When I asked her repeatedly to not use the drill on my nails, she got angry because she just wanted the easy way out by drilling rather than doing anything manually. I do not recommend this place at all. It is very fancy, but they do nothing special plus the service is not worth the price because you are dealing with very rude people who do not care about how they treat customers. read more

Really wanted to love this new nail spa but the service I got did not live up to the gorgeous interior. I have visited twice, the first time just to get a gel pedicure. The pedicure was very basic, and while it looked fine, the nail tech was not very friendly and seemed to be in a hurry. I decided to give them a second chance with a pedicure and manicure. This time my nail tech was very sweet, but my pedicure does not look good. There are bubbles in the gel. Additionally, I only wanted a spa pedicure and ended up with a higher level service because I don't think my nail tech understood what I was saying. After my pedicure was finishing up, the nail tech asked me to leave a review right then and there. In fact, she had me pull up Google on my phone and then she pressed five stars all on her own, and it seemed like she wanted to write the review herself. I did not like feeling that I had to be forced to leave a review. Then we moved onto my manicure. I got a sheer color and it definitely looks better than my pedicure does. However, the condition of the spa in the manicure area was dirty. There was dust and nail remnant on several different stations. No one had been sitting there the entire time I was getting my manicure and they did not bother to clean it up. Overall, with other salons available on Johns Island, I highly doubt that I will be back. read more
