The end result of my $80 FILL-IN. Happy Mothers Day to me. This could have been a pampering but instead I feel idiotic and want to cry.

This was the only nail salon Ive used for the past five years. when I had more money, I'd tip more. When I had less money, I still tipped at least 18%. I went in for a fill-in today. For Mother's day I wanted to feel a little glossy, and my manicure had grown out so I only needed a fill-in. I chose the service, thinking it might save me money because I'm in a frugal season. Gas is $5 now, you know?! I was seen immediately which is good, but I guess I understand why they're able to get me in so fast: they get clients out faster. My technician rushed thru my service, did just one layer, very thin. I still looked like I had at least a weeks worth of growth on my nails. I get to the register and it's $56, NOT including the tip. So I paid nearly $80 for a FILL IN!!!!!!! And it WASNT EVEN DONE WELL. I was nauseated when I looked at the price menu and found it cost LESS for a whole set of ACRYLICS. And again, he DID ONE LAYER. It'll last me maybe one week and then what?!! $80 for ONE WEEK? I'm so disappointed. I never felt so scammed by this spot but I guess they thought maybe doing it thin would get me back in the chair faster for more services. My life doesn't work that way. Generous clients should never be underestimated. I'm done with this place And I'm so sorry to say that.

I got my nails done 5 WEEKS ago and the retention is retention-ing, the application = flawless. I have had absolutely NO lifting, NO breaking and they're still going strong, all ten nails. I do need to get them done from the grow out but it is so impressive that they're still holding on this far out. 10/10 would recommend! Not to mention the vibe of the whole place is so relaxing and it's beautiful inside.

Standard gel pedicure and fill, don't by Christopher and Jessica who I highly recommend as technicians.

Today I went in for the third time to lavish nail spa to get a gel fill and pedicure, as well as a child polish change for my daughter who is five years old. This is my third time bringing my business to this nail spa, and I do highly recommend them as far as technicians who do good service. Buyers beware however, I was charged $174.50 (plus tip which I always like to leave a good tip)... this is the second time I feel I have been exorbitantly overcharged by the owner of the spa, they hide in all kinds of fees for simple things like the shape of the nails. Today, I did not get any extra length in fact, I just had them filed down slightly and asked him to do a thin layer of acrylic because last time they were way too thick, when I told the owner that this wasn't right, he said that the shaping of the nails as well as slightly cutting them down less than a millimeter was worthy of charging me the extra $20-$30. This is outrageous, who in their right mind would charge a good paying customer extra money for a simple shape, especially when it's the same shape or the nails are even shorter from when we came in? I asked him I told him that it was not correct and he rudely stuck to his guns on the issue. I highly recommend the technicians Christopher and Jessica if you happen to go in there, however, I do not think I will be coming back ever again because now I have spent over $600 in three visits here and it is amazing to me that an owner of a business can feel good about overcharging a mother close to Mother's Day unnecessary fees for services that should be obviously included in the price of a gel fill. Please, Charleston... Tell me who, in their right mind charges for filing the nail on a gel fill service, which is already very expensive? I would rather spend my business with other people or businesses who are grateful for the customers and who do not charge hidden unnecessary fees. Also, we were there less than 40 minutes, which is proof of the fact that nothing extra was done in this service. The last time I came, I had a different technician, and when I told him that the nails were too thick for my liking, he rolled his eyes inside heavily, so I decided to leave it alone and left feeling slightly unsatisfactory. Today I came back to give it another try and I was overcharged, in total about $40... which never feels good, especially not for a repeat customer who tips well and who has been a good client. Thank you for these beautiful nails, Christopher and Jessica, but unfortunately, I cannot afford to return and do not want to bring my business to places that are gonna feel good about overcharging me.

The service was very rushed and the quality of service was horrible. This place is over priced with a rude staff that talks about their customers in front of them. I was overwhelmed when I first walked in. I couldn't take my time finding a color, I was pressured to immediately find a color. There was no need to rush me being the establishment was client free, which now I understand why. They asked my guest if they wanted something to drink but not me. The side of my foot was scrub so aggressively my skin came off and started bleeding. The nail tech looked directly at me and tried to over it up and didn't even apologize or ask if I wanted a bandage. DO NOT RECOMMEND! STAY AWAY!

From start to finish was such fun!! The Technicians really take their time and double check their work. I've been a client for about a year now and look forward to many years to come. Very professional and welcoming atmosphere. They speak English very well so communication isn't a factor what so ever. The products they use are very durable and the quality lasts for weeks. I have very high regards for this place and I recommend to everyone.

This is what I asked for

Came in for a fill and Kim did it fairly quickly so that was nice. She was also able to color match the look I was going for. I will say that my nails are kind of slanted though. Okay experience I guess. It just felt slightly rushed and you can tell in the precision. I have photos attached of what I asked for vs what I got. $46!

Good service but holy cow $95 for a fill. Kinda crazy. Chris was super nice but I think it's very much over priced.

Place is very overpriced for a rush job. Pedicure then you have to pay for polish.

The first time I visited, I got a pedicure with gel polish and two acrylic toenails and paid around $60. On my next visit, I only got a gel polish change and acrylic on my big toe, yet I was charged around the same amount. I also had one acrylic nail break off, but I was charged for two acrylic nail replacements instead of one. The lady at the front desk told me that acrylic fill-ins and acrylic repairs are different prices which doesn't make sense... Charging $8 per acrylic toenail for fill-ins feels excessive, let alone $9 for acrylic repair when the quality does not match the price.... Both my mother and I experienced issues with our polish. Our nails looked streaky, and grown out around the cuticle area and when we returned to discuss our concerns, the employee dismissed them instead of offering a solution. We were told that nobody looks at toes that closely anyway. That response was frustrating because if customers are paying for a service, the work should look good regardless of whether someone is examining it up close. The issue wasn't taken seriously, it felt more like he was doing it reluctantly rather than genuinely trying to resolve the problem or address our concerns. Overall, I felt overcharged and dissatisfied with both the quality of the work and the customer service. Will not be back!

The location is quaint and super clean, and they offered you a drink if you want one. I got a basic french tip gel set on my toes and they came out fine, the white tip aren't as curved as I would like but I'm not super picky with my toes. It's my fingernails I am super picky about. Unfortunately I am super picky with the shaping and sizing of my fingernails. One thumbnail is much smaller than the other which does bother me. Getting an acrylic set is always a hit or miss no matter where you go due to how thick they can come out, and I do think mine came out a little thicker than I hoped this time. I really like the color I chose and that I got the cats-eye design, but what drops my rating is the price of $150 without tip (for a classic pedi with new gel, acrylic set with gel, and catseye design) and the lesser attention to the small details. I wish all my nails' shape were sharper and less rounded at the tip, and that my thumbnails weren't two different sizes. It's hard to notice those imperfections in the salon so it's unfortunate that I only notice once I leave and came really look at them. Honestly it's the price that gets me. Charleston nail salons overcharge just because of the city. So ask for a price estimate beforehand so you don't look surprised at checkout!
