Had multiple bad experiences here. Last summer before vacation had a horrible manicure. It was streaky and lasted 2 days. When I inquired about the streaky they yd me "that's how that polish is". Then last week went again. Took me 1/2 late and were rude to me. I also asked for 2 of 3 people when I made the appt and once I got there was told none of them were available. The next day on the way to work not only did I have chipped polish but one nail was completely off. That was after paying $23 for the organic polish they recommended because it supposedly lasted longer. Never again. read more

Took my mother there to get her nails done and eyebrows. NEVER AGAIN!!!. They rushed her in . Didn't let her nails dry. And it only took 30 minutes if not less total for manicure and eyebrows... very rushed in and out. Will never return there. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! read more

Will never go back here. Went with a friend and both had terrible experiences. Was pressured 5x during manicure to get gel when I just wanted regular polish. It was extremely uncomfortable. Once done, my nails had polish all over my on my skin because the woman doing my nails chose to drag the polish onto my skin and waited until she finished 2 layers to go back and wipe it off ( the nail polish had dried at this point.) I had to ask several times to have the polish removed. read more

Great experience. Loved the powder dip that Joy did for me. My daughter got a gel manicure and we were both happy. Called before we went to check they had an opening for us at the same time. The shoulder massage during the manicure was very relaxing. We will be back. read more

We were spoiled from start to finish here! Very surprised with the level of service as we had meant to go to the Fashion Nail Salon next door because it had been recommended by Yelp. The sign just says NAIL on the front. Looks like every nail place in the world... BUT Lisa the owner welcomed us with hot neck pillows and wonderful service. Will definitely return for the incredible blueberry pedicure and foot massage. So damn good. read more

This place has gone downhill FAST. One of the nail technicians is SUPER rough, and like I see in other reviews it's painful to get a manicure from her. I went in the other night to get a gel manicure removed ($7) the woman who was working on my nails didn't remove all of the polish & I unfortunately didn't notice until I left since the remaining polish was on the edges of my nails. I also got a cuticle infection which has happened too many times. Total carelessness. I seem to get an attitude when I want my nails cut as short as possible. Lots of sighing and exaggerated "difficulty" when cutting and filing. Also, it seems like a huge burden when I ask for matching colors since I like to do gel manicure and regular pedicure. The women just say 2 polishes are a match when they're not. I ended up with a white manicure and silver pedicure last time I went. It all just comes down to rushing and carelessness. There are plenty of other places to go, don't waste your time here especially since it's not as clean as it used to be & they just don't care. read more

I usually go to Amy's Nails and they are AWESOME but unfortunately they were closing tonight. I went to Nails and wish I hadn't! I wanted a gel manicure removed and then re-applied. First, they tried to use the electronic filer on me and I had to stop them. I asked if they had CND and they did. The manicure looked great when I left but literally about an hour later completely started peeling off! It's clear they don't know how to do shellac. My nails looks worse than when I came in. This is ridiculous. I could take the polish off with a quick swipe of the nail. Waste of time and money, will NOT be back. Ugh. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service, I waited in a pedicure chair for 30 minutes till someone came, then a woman comes to help the woman who came after me in the next chair. I said, excuse me I was here first. So she moves over to do my pedicure and she's moving so fast I'm worried she is going to cut me, I asked her to please slow down and she says I have an apt, so I asked her to stop my pedicure and she did. I have never had such terrible service in my entire history of getting pedicures. I do not live in this area but I will never give my service to this place again. NEVER go here! I arrived to an empty salon to find rude people, unclean basins and poor service all around. The pedicure was actually painful. She cut the nails too short, and then reminded me to pick a color. They upcharge for most colors..not good. No massage, no complimentary shoulder rub, but they were terrible in every way, so I wasnt surprised. I had to remove the cotton, check for dryness. I went to pay the 45 dollars on my credit card and she said "you dont have cash?" NERVE a waste of my morning and my money. too many other better places to try in Katonah and elsewhere read more

I meant to go to another salon, my mother told me not to go to "nails" but I didn't realize that was the name of the place. It's awful from the minute you walk in. Not clean. The staff are rude and as someone else mentioned, they are cold. You are in a service business! You are working on someone's body! Be kind! smile! All the kindness in the world would somehow make up for the poor color choices, unprofessional cuticle cutting and no massage.
