She politely said thank you and left. I was only one of two customers in the salon. Maybe they were booked with appointments or whatever, but I was surprised and disappointed in how the customer was treated so indifferently. I've never experienced that behavior before. TERRIBLE Customer Service and timeliness…read more I just left a bad experience with Katy at the Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard Texas. Prior to my appointment I received a text from Katy saying she was going to be 20 minutes late. I reluctantly agreed, knowing it would push my own commitments back. I arrived at the salon on time, for my original appointment time. Katy stated she would be with me in a "few minutes". 25 minutes later, I asked how much longer it was going to be. She stated 5 or so more minutes. Finally, she was done with her previous appointment who had arrived late, which was the reason my appointment was pushed back. This salon has a strict on-time policy for clients; If you are late, late cancel, or no show, they cancel your appointment and charge you half the fee. When I stated that respect goes both ways, and asked Katy why the same on time policy did not apply to service providers, she became defensive. She stated she had let me know she was running late, and asked if she should have cancelled my appointment. I replied that she should have applied their stated policy to her previous customer who was late. Katy completely disagreed with this, and then said my appointment was cancelled. I stated that I completely agreed, and left the salon. I will not return, and definitely do not recommend anyone else patronize The Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard, Texas, either.

They were so very helpful, assisting me in choosing my services as well as the colors that would compliment my daughters wedding colors. I have never been to a salon where the service was so accommodating and attentive. They did a phenomenal job and my mani/pedi not only lasted through all of the wedding activities, the colors they helped me choose were absolutely perfect for the big day! Very professional and amazing service!! Thank you to Laura and Melanie for making this such a pleasant experience and for helping a mother of the bride a hit at the wedding! The nail tech didn't seem to know what she was doing but it didn't turn out bad. However, I told Frankie who did my pedicure that I wanted the $35 pedicure. I even showed him the picture on the brochure. I am a retired sr and have to account for all of my extras. So it was a SHOCK when they told me my pedicure was $55!! I guess he used a gel but no he did not tell me or ask me about it. I was so upset. Even the dip was $50 instead of $45. It seems like this place just tries to steal money from their customers. I normally leave a $20 tip but I couldn't today because of the overcharge. This is definitely the LAST time I will visit them!

As I was waiting , I was looking for my color for my nails. I don't look through the book, I just decided to look on the wall to get the color I want. Tommy then comes over to where I am and slams down the color pallet and says this is the same thing, I told him those colors are ugly and I just want to grab the color from the wall. He made such a big deal about me not using the color pallet. He said it would be quicker l. I said I don't care about that. I grabbed my color and sat down in his seat. He made me feel as though I was messing up the wall and the organization of it. I did not affect anything. The wall is not organized in the first place. I was so upset with him and how he was handling me , I started to cry. I told him I was having a good day and for him to leave me alone. I did not understand what caused him to act this way towards me. I ask for him , I tip him, and for him to treat me as though I was being a problem for him by not picking my color off of the color pallet. I will not be going back and I recommend Nails by Ms. V.
