Walked in on a weekend and was helped very promptly. The tech I had overall did a very nice job and was willing to help me try a lot of different colors and chrome coat variations on my nail. I ended up deciding against the chrome after he tried about 4-5, and he still didn't give me grief haha. was very patient and kind. overall would recommend! read more

It's my first time staying in this area so was very hesitant on getting my nails done. My pedicure experience was good but would have been perfect if the technician didn't keep asking me which pedicure I wanted after I confirmed it 3 times and pointed to it on the brochure. It was a little annoying and I wish I got an actual massage after paying for the upgraded service but toes came out great! Now for the manicure... GLORIA was amazing! She was very patient and really took her time. She even wanted to have a little fun with designs I showed her. Honestly I was super nervous but it came out so cute!!! I was so looking forward to this experience after seeing some great reviews... I got a dip manicure and within two hours, had a crack in one of the nails. I went back and it was fixed. Not even two more hours later I noticed one more chip, and now a day later two of my nails already are broken. When I tell you this is the thinnest manicure I've ever had! Really wanted a good experience but unfortunately this was not it. read more

The staff is nice. My nails came out ok. They did the best they could designing the space. It's kind of dusty in there. They line the pedicure stations and everything. But overall could be cleaner. The music isn't too loud. So that's nice. Pretty peaceful in there. Massage skills could be better. No hand massage with a gel manicure was dissapointing. Foot massage was just ok. I'd go back. It was walking distance from the hotel. read more

My daughter took me here for a birthday mani and pedi. I got a gel mani and regular polish pedi. This place follows CDC guidelines and are friendly people. The mani and pedi was nothing spectacular considering the price. I almost choked on my coffee when they said $65 for a regular pedi and gel mani! VERY EXPENSIVE. and I tipped $10 on top of it. I have been a customer of Nails Lux for over 4 years and I would not go anywhere else. My nail tech is Leila. She is very sweet and a true artist in doing nails. I tend to have ingrown nails and she patiently helps me with every time to dug it out in a way that is both painless and effective. She gives your legs a massage with a hot towel at the end, and she ensures you relax. The salon does have massage recliners, which enhance the experience. I usually get my manicure done with dip and a deluxe pedicure with regular polish. I have witnessed amazing nail work, and also occassions where customers chip their nails and the salon takes care of those situations without any charge. The entire staff is very professional, Kevin and Tina are very nice and they make everyone feel welcome. I drive from Doral to this location, because they have always made me feel special, and my nails come out beautiful. Absolutely amahhzinng! I am from out of town and looking for a place away from the norm is nerve racking! I found this place just looking through reviews and I could not be happier! I'm not sure what's up with the negative reviews. I've been going here for 3 years now and they ALWAYS have done a good job for me. I've had various techs - each one has been detailed and provided good service. Prices are about average for industry standard and if you're ever not sure, just ask! Anytime they've suggested something, I ask "how much" so there's no surprises. I've switched from gel to powder and have been happy, today being no exception. They're definitely my "go-to" nail salon. read more

Ann did a great job on my nails. They look beautiful. I got a gel mani and a gel pedi with paraffin wax and it was $142. The price was a little steep but my nails look awesome. Amazing nail place, I was so impressed! I came in one Friday evening to get a regular manicure/pedicure. The place itself was very spacious and there was maybe 1-2 other patrons there. Their massage pedicure chairs looked new and very sanitized. She took her time with my pedicure and my toe nails looked great. We then moved over to the manicure area where she did my nails. Between the relaxing music, the salt water fish tank, and the hand and feet massages she gave me, I was so relaxed, I could have fallen asleep. It's a really nice place, very clean, and new looking - and I like that they had tv's on with the news, I felt so refreshed after I left here. Highly recommended! read more

Update to this review: the manager Tina is what makes the complete difference! She remembered what I asked for coming in and saw I had different at check out and asked me what happened. She re-did my colors with the perfect color and matched my hands. Thank you for taking care of me! Original review: No lux treatment received from my male nail tech. Told me he didn't have gel in nude color and glitter so I changed to regular polish so I can go somewhere that has the gel polish. The color I asked for my toes was a dark burgundy and he began painting my toes black. When I told him I wanted dark burgundy again he threw his hand up annoyed. He was also trying to watch the World Cup soccer game. I said ok.... Don't worry and he continued with black. read more

This is a nice salon! Very clean and open space. The restroom was very clean as well! I was greeted when I arrived and was shown to the regular nail polishes and given gel polish samples to choose from! I usually go to Victor for my pedicures and Kevin who sits at desk 6 for my manicures. Unfortunately I had to stop going due to finances since COVID. I have been putting off going back because I heard Victor no longer works there and I only trusted him with my pedicures because he does such a great job with cuticles. However, I went back yesterday and had my pedicure done by Jemie. I told her exactly what I wanted with cuticles and I also had sores from heels that I wore a week ago. Jemie spent a lot of time taking care of cuticles, exfoliating and being very gently with the sores. It was an excellent pedicure and I'm happy I can continue to come here for service. Walked in on a Monday morning. The salon was slow, so the nail artist had plenty of time to work on me. She defiantly took her time, I was there for about an hour and a half for a regular polish mani pedi. She did a great job on everything, I would definitely recommend and come back. They had many colors to choose from as well. Salon was clean and staff was friendly. $35 for both services. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I went for a manicure once and it was coming off two days later, and after a long time I decided to go again to take my nails off and they couldn't do it right, because they did it in a rush, they were closing, so I had to come back today again and they put acetone on my hands, and I had to ask someone to take it off because my hands were burning, and someone else came, and took it off and asked me to take it off myself. If I could do it myself, I would not have came back to that place! This is the worst experience that I have ever experienced at a nail salon. read more

Sometimes they are good sometimes just bad lol mike is my favorite he does your nails like he cares. my first time gel manicure however was horrible! I don't remember who did them. Within a week they cracked because he was too cheap to add another coat they are see through and My already cut down nails broke every more please just do better I e been coming here on and off for 10 years I live in the area so please just do better. I have been to several other waxing places all over the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area, European wax center had me having to pay for someone else to re-wax because they literally missed 40% of waxing. It was ridiculous. And natura spa but after trying several estheticians there each one either left my scarred from the wax being too hot and ignoring my requests to cool it down, or they left behind many patches. And that is just to name a couple. Laura did a perfect job. Quick job with waxing and very low pain. Which I've learned means you have a good esthetician that knows your growth pattern. As a Transgender woman, I often move through public spaces with a sense of guardedness. However, Ugo's presence was a beacon of safety and respect. He was attentive and kind, reminding me that authentic human warmth still exists. While most of the staff were lovely, I did feel a very uncomfortable and rude energy from one staff member (I think he is a Brazilian guy and his name is Julio). He was very disrespectful to me. It was a stark contrast to the rest of my experience. As someone who has dedicated my life and my work (including my memoir Beyond Face Value and my activism for the Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ communities) to leaving the world better than I found it, these moments of respect mean everything.
