I believe this place is family owned and the whole family is so kind - Van and Ken greet me so nicely when I come, and they remember all my preferences. Horrible. Hated how my manicure and pedicure turned out with paint on my skin and missing from sides of the nail. Somehow was a painful experience. Usually get dip to last longer but it somehow started to lift after 3 days and then peeled off, but dip peeling off is uncomfortable and took some of my nail off. the manicures and pedicures look great, but they thin their polish out with nail remover so it does not last as long. The place is not clean and the the gentleman whom performed my eyebrow waxing ripped skin off of both eyes. This is not a one time - had a bad experience review, I went numerous times thinking I must be wrong, but when I went to a different solon and the polish lasted longer, I knew my suspicious were correct - and the skin on my eyebrows was the last straw. I am really not impressed by this place. I decided one day at work that my shredded torn up cuticles had to be taken care of because constant alcohol sanitizer was killing me, so I decided to get a manicure. I only had an hour lunch break to do it, so I picked a salon close to work. I stopped in here and requested a gel manicure and there was no price list in sight. I wasn't quoted anything at all when I walked in, just told where the appropriate polish colors were. Okay, fine. I sat down for my mani and took my rings off, and noticed that not only was I the only person in the salon, there was clutter all over the place. There was a half eaten box of cereal laying on the front desk, rolls of paper towels on a chair next to me, and a stack of magazines sitting on the floor. What really bothered me is that the manicure tools didn't appear to be autoclaved. They didn't come out of a steam sealed/individually wrapped package, and I have no idea how they were cleaned aside from watching the tech wipe them with acetone in front of me. They were in a plastic package, but I don't know if that was sanitized. I specifically requested my cuticles be taken care of, and since they were cracked and bleeding to take it easy on the acetone. Not only was this not done, he continuously wiped over them multiple times with the acetone brush cleaning the edges meticulously when I asked again and again to cut it out because it was hurting me. Now I have raw cuticles worse than before. As I went to wash my hands in the back, I saw ONE price sheet in the back-on the UV drying table. What good does it do in the BACK of the shop? I don't even want to know what the waxing rooms look like, nor do I want to think about how old the wax is or how or if they sterilize those things. After he was done clipping my cuticles, the tech just shook the towel with the skin onto the floor. Um, ew? There was a large prominent sign on the TABLE that said 'please tip in cash'. Well-first, that's rude to put on the table as I'm getting my service-put it near the payment area. Secondly, there is a tip line on the credit card receipt for a reason. I usually tip in cash if I have it on me, but that's not much. If you wanted a tip in cash only, I had change in my car. But I don't see myself coming back here anyway. I don't trust the cleanliness and the mani I got was subpar anyway. read more

Very clean nail salon , the young lady did a very nice and neat job on my nails . It's in the fountains shopping plaza in the left Hand corner across from dicks sporting goods! What I REALLY liked is that they have large selection if gel nail colors unlike most salons ... And they're not too pricey . I don't wear fake nails so I love the gel colors for strength. Completely offended and disappointed - Will NOT go back! I have been going to BD nails regularly for almost 2 years now. I usually love going there and the way the staff treats me - we know one another on a first name basis and they are always so accommodating/great. I went to get my nails done and the nail tech, who I have gone to several times, starts loudly talking with a client not only about his opinions about POLITICS, but also RELIGION, and the client chimed in. I am not going to get into the specifics, but they were badmouthing MY religion and a country I have a strong connection with/have visited. And, then they started generalizing people from the Coral Springs/Boca area in which I live and saying how entitled we were. Both the tech and the client were both from different countries, but I would never do anything to disrespect them or make them feel the way they made me feel. There is a time and place for these kinds of talks and everyone is "entitled" to their own opinion, however this was unacceptable. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to BD Nails & Spa again. I wish I could give a star-rating of zero. read more

This place is awful. They don't sanitize their tools. They thin the nail polishes. And the lady I got had no idea what she was doing. I had to stop her and pay and walk out. Then she started telling my friend who was with me that it was because I didn't want to pay for quality service. No ma'am I did pay even though I shouldn't of and you service is not good. I got my nails done on a Wednesday morning at 9:30, I was the only one there. I got a pedicure and shellac done. I did not like it at all, he seemed rushed and did my nails at the same time as my feet. He did not file my nails correctly at all, it all was messy as if it was someone who did not know how to do nails. Then when he was putting the gel on my nails he did not even paint them completely, he left the edges without painting. On top of that the nail polish dried with bubbles! And he expected a tip! I am not going back there again, I went there as a last minute option and got the worst. I highly recommend "Polished" in sheridan plaza with muvico. I came here on the day of my wedding to get a manicure and toenail polish change and was pleasantly surprised. The woman who took care of be was named Betty and she was very fast and efficient. I was surprised at how well she did my nails in such a short amount of time! Very happy with my experience. I went on a Sunday at around 12:30 and didn't have to wait which was a bonus since I was in a hurry. Very affordable too. $22 for manicure and polish change in my feet. read more

My first experience was nice. The guy who worked with me was amazing. So I traveled another 18 mi to come back and have a mani pedi including dip nails. The woman who was placed with me was extremely rude. She ripped the nail extensions off my nail after I told her it hurt. She then dismissed me from her table. I will never go back. The massage chairs offer multiple ways to relax and have always worked. Disposable spa tubs are used during pedicures which offers another level of sanitation. I decided to give BD nails a try today. I opted to try their pedicure and shellac manicure. My pericure was done by one manicurist and I was pleased. However my shellac manicure was done by a different person and she did a terrible job!!!!. My cuticles were cut too deep, my nails were filed extremely crooked and polish appeared lumpy. I told the manager I wasnt please and refused to compensate me. Rather he wanted the same manicurist to fix my nails. I refused since she filed them so low (close to my nail bed) and she botched the job the 1st time. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AT BD NAILS. I love a place that can do a really fast but thorough pedicure, and this was exactly that. I stopped here while waiting to finish up at the Tesla supercharger, and I was a bit worried after reading the other reviews. However, I didn't have any of the issues some of the other posts mention. I think David was the guy doing most of my pedicure, and I appreciate that the other nail technician finished my polish while David was bringing some things to the back. It didn't feel rushed to me. There was also an extensive price list available and offered to us as soon as we sat down. The place was clean and uncluttered. We were the only people in the place, and their attention was fully focused on us. It wasn't fancy by any means and lacked little niceties like being offered something to drink, hence the 4 stars, but overall it was a quality and quick pedicure which is exactly what I was looking for. read more

I had high hopes for this place after reading some reviews, but it was literally the worst manicure I have EVER had. The gentleman who did my nails was very nice- but good GOD he destroyed my hands. First of all, he asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and I said yes- not knowing that he was going to cut them as low as he possibly could. My nails were cut so short, that when he started using the buffer he actually CUT MY FINGERS. That's right, not just one finger. He did it AGAIN and another finger. I decided to try the gel nail polish and I had an horrible experience. The owner David did my nails and the next day after getting my nails done, the polish came right off my nail. I called the salon to let them know that I will be coming back to get it fixed and this time Bettye "fixed" my nail.
