I'm not from the area, but I needed somewhere to get a quick pedicure. I went based on Google reviews, which were pretty high. I went on a Saturday morning right when they opened. Thankfully I did because people were practically running in! I checked in on the iPad and was seen right away. The shop is very clean and the lady who did my pedicure did a great job. The prices were reasonable (for me at least). The only complaint (which was rectified) is that I was accidentally charged twice due to their iPad glitching. I couldn't go back to get that taken care of, as I live 500 miles away, but when I called, he checked the system and was able to give me the refund for the double charge. Just being in the area and this placed held the highest reviews and the close proximity to Fire House where I ate lunch I tried them out. First and foremost they serve ALCOHOL!!!! Beer, Wine, and Mimosas!!! I was sold before the reviews lol. The mimosas were very pulpy and acidic which lent they needed kore champagne in it and a no pulp option. The wine was pretty decent. Service was prompt and both of my techs were fast and thorough. Derek need a lil softening up but he was good nonetheless. First time coming here and I couldn't be more pleased! I usually avoid getting manicures and pedicures because I have super sensitive cuticles and they always get badly cut - but not at this place! I went in, showed a picture of something similar I wanted and let the technician know I bleed easily and she said she'd be extra careful and she was! I normally don't bad review businesses but this has to be said. I went in to get a gel manicure and the guy who did my nails tried talking me into dipping powder which I have tried and hated. When I told him i just wanted gel he literally just started filing my nails, didn't soak them, started cutting my cuticles with a cuticle nipper that he pulled out of a drawer, afterwards 6 out of 10 of them were actively bleeding. Then he complained saying my nails were too short to polish. When I asked him why he didn't soak my nails during the manicure he told me I didn't need it because my nails were too thin. Well, you soak them so you can soften the cuticles to trim them, which is why I now have 6 bloody and sore fingers!! I am not lying when I say he spent maybe 20 minutes on me. I got home and already the side of my index finger has chipped. Absolute worst experience and will never return. And to think, I paid $43 for this mess! read more

As soon as this nail salon opened in Moncks Corner, I LOVED IT. It's the type of salon though that once you've been going for a while they get to comfortable in a sense and starting treating you like crap. They tell you to let them do their job and what you want and what you think will look good, isn't good enough. And for the price you pay to get your nails done there should be some respect. I normally get the dip nails, and a herbal pedicure every time not walking out of there under 200 dollars (along with my mother of course) It's just awful. Definitely would rather drive 20-30 minutes to go somewhere else that's NOT this place. read more

Had a really good experience my first time at this place. Made an apt. for a pedicure (not gel) and they were ready when I got there. The place was decorated in a really clean, modern manner which I liked. Had an older gentleman do my pedicure and he did a great job! Wasn't a big talker (which I liked) because I just wanted to read :). I've now had this pedicure for 3 weeks and it still looks perfect! Granted it's not warm enough that I'm at the beach every weekend, but still really impressed given it's not gel. Definitely going back for another pedicure! They also offered me a mimosa (or coffee or tea) when I got there which was fun (though I don't drink). 5 stars for my first time there and will go back! read more

Worst experience not honoring gift certificate when told by employee that there is no expiration date on them . My service a couple of weeks ago, with my regular nail technician Helen, was the most unprofessional experience I've ever encountered. I am just posting this review because for some strange reason their business app wouldn't allow me to. I have been scheduling my nail dip, regular toenails polished, and eyebrows arch with Helen for at least 6 months and I was "SCHEDULED" for the same services on this particular day. Helen was pretty much done with my nail dip, applying the last clear coat, when another client of hers walked in and said to another worker at the front desk that she has an appointment with Helen. According to the time, it was time for Helen to begin working with this other client, but she was not finished serving me yet because she still had my toenails and eyebrows to do. When she finished my nails, she asked me to follow her, she directed me to a pedi chair, pointed to another worker and said she'd help me from here and left to go serve her other client. I was extremely surprised and angry with her for literally dumping me off on another worker like that, with no explanation! This was unfair and very unprofessional of her! I spoke to the manager about this issue and told him that I will not be returning to his salon. I haven't been back since. read more

I was in here yesterday. Walk signin with there iPad. I sit down with my daughter they're pretty packed. The woman ask what I wanted told her full set for me..pedi for my daughter. Tell call my daughter back for her pedi. My daughter's 8 ...I walk her back...come back to the front grab the polish she wanted..took it back to her and sat back down in the waiting chairs which are literally next to the nail booths. A woman that comes in after me...no appointment gets called to get her nails done and then another young lady that came after me ...no appointment..gets called before me. At this point I'm looking around like am I invisible. So I stand up walk took a peek around the corner to see how far along my daughter was but they had already started so I came and sat back down...it was at that point I was asked now what are you getting again. I just stated I'm no longer going to get anything done. Like what is the point of the signin if you aren't going to reference it. No drink was offered to my daughter like they usually do. read more

i was in there for 3 hours and had to wait 30 mins when I had an appointment service was ok but could've been better

Today, I was the first time I received horrible service. My daughters and I registered at 5:20 pm. The salon was packed with eager customers waiting to get their nails done. Therefore, I knew that I would've to endure some wait time. However, I did not expect to have to wait almost 2 hours before having to approach the manager concerning the length of time I was waiting. He would motion for customers to come to the back to have their pedicures. So, I decided to approach him concerning this issue. He stated that those customers had appointments. However, when I checked the sign in only two customers had appointments. I also observed customers walking in and going straight to the pedicure room. Nine other customers were escorted to the back, he never acknowledged my daughters and my present. I felt a degree of discrimination! Therefore, at 7:05 pm, we left the salon without any services. A simple ma'am are you able to come back tomorrow would have suffice or ma'am we will not be able to service you today would have been fine. Perhaps even a simple hello please take a seat will be with you soon would've worked to. My suggestion to this establishment is to follow the order of sign in and to separate persons with appointments. I would even recommend putting up a sign that states person with appointments will be service first. I am very disappointed, transparency is always the key to great customer service! read more

I am beyond upset with this nail salon. I'm on vacation out of state for a wedding. I asked to have a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. The brought me a basket of nail polish and asked me to pick a color. So I picked one for both my hands a feet. I also paid for the mother of the bride to get her nails done as well. My nails looked awful and they must have applied 10 coats of nail polish because she messed them up. I was not happy with my nails. They charge me 147. They apparently gave me and her gel nail polish amd gave me a more expensive pedicure. I don't get my nails done so I had no idea that's what they put on my nails. They told me to write a message to the owner and tell them what happened. However when I did they BLOCKED me! I called and they won't put the manager on. This has really been a horrible and frustrating experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. read more
