Called to see if they had walk in pedicure availability. The gentleman on the phone said yes come in. Came in was greeted, told what chairs to sit in. They had a huge selection of colors. That is something they don't lack! The chairs were comfy, the water was fixed to our liking, the two ladies that worked on our feet greeted us and appeared to be happy. Received a basic pedicure but that alone was good enough for me. Pedicure went well, color was great, I always get regular polish. The only thing I don't like is the finishing oil but I forgot to tell them not to put that on. They told us to stay to dry our toes "take your time" that was nice to not feel rushed out. I had a very disappointing experience with this nail salon and would not recommend it. Before coming in, I called ahead and also confirmed in person that they could remove polygel from my toenails. Once I arrived and was already seated, the nail tech (I believe her name was Helen or Heidi) suddenly changed the story and said my nail bed would be "too weak" to soak the gel off. Instead, she filed it down, did not properly shape my nails, and simply painted over them. The result looked terrible, uneven, not square as requested, and extremely rushed. I was still charged over $40 for a regular pedicure, despite the poor quality. When I asked if they could at least help soak the remaining gel off, they refused, directly contradicting what they said they could do before I came in. That same night, my toenail literally began ripping off, the very thing they claimed they were trying to prevent. I immediately called the salon and spoke to a young woman at the front desk named Sam, who told me to come back in. When I returned, they denied the service again, even after asking me to come in. This led to an argument with Sam, who initially offered a partial refund, then took it back. Eventually, I only received an apology from the original nail tech, but no real resolution. Overall, this experience felt extremely misleading, unprofessional, and money-driven. Promising a service, refusing to perform it once the client is seated, delivering poor results, and then denying accountability is unacceptable. Service date: November 28, 2025. I would give negative 5 stars if possible. !!!!! EDIT!!!! : Let me edit my review since the owner wants to lie about the terrible service I received, yes, a month ago. First and foremost, I did request the service over the phone and in person-- I explicitly asked for poly gel removal, and I was misled both times that it could be done. I NEVER said I had acrylic. I specifically said POLYGEL and was confidently told it could be done. All of my nails were INTACT besides one nail that probably needed to be redone. The poly gel wasn't the issue, I just wanted it removed so my natural nails could breathe. Once I was already in the chair, I gave reluctant consent under pressure, assuming that my nails would be handled properly. Instead, my nails were sloppily filed down, barely shaped, and painted over, resulting in a look that was far below any acceptable standard and a chipped nail that was NEVER fixed!! And for the record, when they denied me a second time after making me drive 15 minutes back to the shop, Helen glued the nail back and haphazardly filed the nails a little more for damage control to shut me up and get me out of the shop. This is a FACT. Second, the front desk staff, specifically Sam (if that's her name), was extremely unprofessional. She asked me to come back to the salon under the pretense of helping me remove the polygel, only to deny the service again once I got there and give me ATTITUDE when I expressed valid concern. Why does the owner fail to address that? This behavior felt like a money-driven scheme, not a genuine attempt to provide client care. Finally, I was able to figure it out through google and soaked my own toes in acetone at home and removed the poly gel with zero damage, something a trained nail technician should be able to do safely. Something they told me they could not do when initially they told me they could! The fact that this was refused, and I was still charged for shoddy work, only proves the lack of professionalism. This experience was misleading, unsafe, and poorly handled, and my review stands. The fact that they are deflecting and lying to try to save face is proof enough why you need to stay FAR away from this business if you want quality work, better customer service and overall something worth your hard earned pay. I normally NEVER write reviews but this is something I felt very compelled to warn people about. I cannot recommend this salon and would give negative 100 stars if possible. (OH! And for the record, I was charged $44, not $38. They charged an extra $6 to "remove polygel" --something they never did! Another lie! And I have receipts to prove). Came here with the girlfriend, we both got pedicures like we do every month or too. My technician was fantastic, I have toes that tend towards getting ingrown nails and most techs dig so hard around that, that it's quite painful, or they just down trim enough. My tech somehow did a great job trimming the nails while also being gentle. I got a coat of black which never looks great and somehow she got it perfectly smooth. The girlfriend's toes came out perfect. The price was right too, very reasonable, especially for the Charleston area. I was so impressed with their methods and processes here. For instance, the color I picked for my pedi was running low and rather than diluting it with acetone, as many other places do, they had a centrifuge type machine shake the polish bottle until it was mixed and thin enough to be applied to my nail. My nail color has lasted so long because of this small step, the quality of the paint wasn't lowered by the acetone. Everything was clean and they were so friendly and thorough in every step they took. I did go on my day off, so I was able to be there when it wasn't busy. They didn't take any of her information which should have been a sign that it wasn't going to go well. Nope... Nobody came out for her. Another employee brought a customer from a pedicure over to the manicure station where my nail tech began talking to her the whole time while doing my nails. We had little interaction. There was someone who WALKED IN after us. No appointment, a walk in... And was given service before my friend. My gel manicure was very quick and not really enjoyable as I was upset my friend didn't get hers done. I wouldn't have started my service if I knew she wasn't going to be helped... They turned out well, but my nails started to get off on the sides (bubbles were showing underneath) after just two days. I was looking for a nearby spa for eyebrow waxing and am so glad I found this nail spa! I walked in on a Sunday around 1:30pm, and they fit me in right away. The spa itself is much bigger than I expected, so while they have limited staff they have large capacity for guests if you make reservations (I assume). I can't speak to manicures or other services, but the eyebrow wax was quick and efficient. The person that helped me was super friendly and communicative about what she was doing! I got my nails done yesterday and the man doing my nails was telling me how he made my nails "look much better than the last set" .....he did the last set. And to his point, he did these better except for the design. I asked for a simple swirl on my nails. He did not deliver. In fact, he was laughing while he was doing it. Great to have a place so close to home that I can escape and get in a little pampering. I only go 2 or 3 times a year but I love to get a deluxe or paraffin wax pedicure from time to time. I came here and was very impressed with the spa. They were following all covid protocols and even had plexi glass panels between you and your nail tech. The chairs are all nice and new still which makes for an excellent massage. I can almost fall asleep from the massage part.
