Brought my mom there today for a pedicure and it was done by Hannah and my mom said it was the best pedicure she had in years. My mom is wheelchair bound and Hannah assisted me with getting her in and out of pedicure chair and she really took her time with the pedicure. I got a spa pedi and mani. Service was efficient and sanitary. They also use some sort of machine to disinfect in between each customer.

Went in for a gel manicure and to have my current tips removed. The lady told me I would need to pay $10 extra to have them removed, I agreed. She then whipped out an old Metrocard from her desk and started to dig under my nails until the tips popped off. I was shocked that this is the method they used, so unsanitary, unprofessional, and damaging. And then on top of that charging $10?? That is just completely trying to take advantage of someone. I've had tips removed plenty of times and no one has ever done it this way. I have always gotten them soaked in acetone and then removed with a specific tool. I don't mind paying for the service if it's professional and done properly but this was trash. The man at the front desk offered to reduce it to $5 instead of $10 and I didn't continue to argue but don't think I should've paid anything for that. Wish I could upload the video I took on Yelp. Came here for the first time last Thursday for gel manicure and gel pedicure. The promo they were offering was 55.00. After 30 minutes, I was approached saying that gel pedicure would be 15.00 extra. I asked if it was written on the promo card and the lady said yes, I trusted her without having to see it for myself) I didn't argue and accepted this as the truth. Then another 10 minutes later I was approached again saying that there's an extra 10.00 charge for a special polish?? And that the tech should have told me? At this point I said "is there anything else I should know about before you keep adding charges?" Again, I went with it. I was certain that the extra charges will buy me great results. Not but two days after my visit, the polish turned to brown tint and it looks like my cuticles haven't been groomed. I live in California and my visits to the nail salon costs me 65 with tip for the same service and will last me up to 4 weeks. Make sure to ask if what is advertised as the price is what you'll actually end up paying before tip. read more

I reserved my review until my second visit, hoping it would be better, but it actually got worse. This is THE worst manicure I've had in a very, very long time. I went the first time as i wanted to experience a powder/dip manicure. The "manicurist " never introduced herself, didnt ask what shape to file my naturally, long nails, and tried using the tool to remove the shellac on my nails. Please note, the best method is to soak it off, and most who use the "tool" are in a hurry! After soaking, and me telling her this was my first powder, I got crickets! She did finally say it would last longer than other polishes, and she was right. It was so thick, my nails were lost in powder. Ok, so I go back after a few weeks, and was told it's a $10 extra charge to remove the powder color! Really! Moving on, I'd selected a shellac color, and asked this "manicurist" to repair a couple of broken nails. The repaired nail came apart shortly after leaving the salon, and then I noticed, the edges and tips weren't completely covered! Amateurish! I go back to the salon for repairs on Saturday and ask to speak to the manager, who had other dissatisfied customers waiting! She was not in the shop, and wouldn't be until today. I went back today, and the manager's fix of a broken nail was as amateurish as the first time done; I'm currently looking at a lump under color as she didn't file the glue to be even with the rest of the nail. This is a lovely looking salon, but their staff and services performed are awful! Keep looking if in search of a new nail salon! read more

I used to like this place and I like how you can book online. HOWEVER online it says classic pedi is 45 min and it's only been 20 minutes and I'm already getting polished. On top of it the person I made appointment with went on an "errand" so I could either wait (no guess of how much time) is go with someone else. For the price of a pedi it's not worth it. Well I went there with my friend to get le epicure, we had the spa pedicure and I would say save your money and go somewhere else.. the 2 ladies were talking in the langage the whole time sometime wispering like they were talking about someone nOt in a good way.. when your trying to relax and it's just rude, we both paid extra for the spa one I really go for the massage and they don't reaLly rub.. they don't do the leg part at all its just food Ann's barely any pressure, my friend had the same reaction, and then at the drying station another lady started to complain to us about the same thing they talk and don't do good work!!!!! First time here and very disappointed. I never write reviews but this was that bad. Scheduled a spa pedicure online which was convenient but showed up and had to wait for 15 mins. Place looks fancy but service doesn't match. Pedicure was supposed to last an hour but only took about 20 minutes. Uncomfortable chairs without any massage or features other than jolty recline back and forth. She rushed through the entire thing except for the 10 minute massage which was on a timer. Barely paid attention to my nails which hadn't been done since the beginning of quarantine so really needed it. Sloppy paint job and only did one coat. Could have done the same thing at home without paying $50. Don't understand the great reviews - maybe I just got a bad person. So don't take a chance on Ivy if you do decide to come here. Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately will not be coming back. read more

Let me start this off by saying I am the furthest thing from a Karen, or a glorified Yelp reviewer like that South Park episode poking fun at people. I'm very easy going and don't often complain or even take the time to write a review. That being said, this warrants a writing. The first time I went, my friend and I had a great experience. Lilly did a nice job with my dip powder and spa pedicure. Everything was clean, she took her time, no complaints. Unfortunately, after the experience my friend had today, I will never be back here again, and I will make sure to discourage others from stepping foot in here. My friend went in today for a dip powder manicure. She had a 5pm appointment with Nicole. Right off the bat, they told her Nicole wasn't available and had her wait. Lilly did her nails instead (same one who did mine when we first went in September). When my friend sat down with her, Lilly scoffed and laughed at her for having short nails. She then laughed at her for choosing to have her pinky painted a different color as opposed to her ring finger like most people do. During the manicure, Lilly continuously laughed and shook her head, as if to say what horrible nails my friend had. She complained to the other nail tech in front of my friend that the glitter she chose was getting stuck in her nail brush. She over filed her pinky, and buffed her nail with the buffer tool so hard, that her finger bled. My friend is on blood thinners, and even a small bleed can turn into a major problem. I have never been so shocked and appalled by a business in my life. The disparaging treatment my friend received leaves me grieved and at a loss for words, especially considering it was with a nail tech who had previously been so kind and professional. Please, please seek your business elsewhere. Nails Spa and Beyond is not deserving of your time and money. read more

I didn't read the reviews before I tried this salon, decided to go there because it was very modern and clean looking. I had a pink and white gel manicure and I have to say this one was done perfectly. I've had these done many times before, but the manicurist here sculpted down the pink and then applied white - hard to explain but they came out looking incredible. Also, he did the application in a couple of thin layers so that I didn't get that burning feeling under the UV that I've experienced before. Price was the same as I usually pay. This salon is significantly more expensive than the majority of salons in Westfield. They spend an extra amount of time on both manicures and pedicures, and their technicians are very friendly. They have a huge selection of colors and brands amongst their polish collection, and are one of the few salons in the area who has SNS (dip polish) for $40. The salon is pristine clean, very large, and has complementary water for guests. Their main issue is their front desk, and being understaffed. Every time I have gone in their front desk attendant has either spoken minimal English and unable to understand the service I have requested, and if that wasn't the case, the front desk person has been very disorganized and frantic with only a few people waiting. The same issue goes if you can for an appointment, which is why I recommend making your appointment online. My recommendation to management would be to train and fix their front desk staff issues, and add more technicians: there are at least 20 pedicure chairs, and only 5 people giving pedicures at any given time, which can result in a Long wait time if you don't have an appointment. I saw someone quoted 45 minutes on a quiet Sunday because they were simply just understaffed. Other than that, the only other issue is the lack of price transparency. There is few written pieces in the front desk / waiting area that state the prices of everything. Manicures start at $20, and the mani pedi combo is $47. They do have a special Monday-Thursday for a $42 combo for mani-pedi. This salon has great potential, and if you're looking for a really premium and relaxing experience this is the place to go. read more

I walked in as a new guest and was rudely ignored by the receptionist while trying to make an appointment. Finally after waiting almost 10 minutes, I made the appointment. I had gotten a new set of acrylic tips with gel. After 10 days, the nails started to come off! its been 2 weeks now and they're all completely off. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and did a beautiful job, but i'm not sure what products are used but its over priced for what they give you. I don't recommend this place. read more

if i could give zero stars, i would. first off, i showed a picture of the nail design i wanted and they didn't have any of the supplies a normal nail salon should have, like loose glitter powder or different colored rhinestones. second of all, the woman at the front desk is VERY unprofessional and extremely rude. she caught an attitude with me when i told her i didn't like the nail color choices she was picking out, since the color i wanted wasn't available in gel. i literally had to tell her to lower her voice, she didn't need to yell at me. then, as i was checking out, she kept asking me over and over if i was going to leave a tip. who does that? as a customer, i shouldn't be HARASSED into leaving a tip. finally, she accused me of not tipping the last time i visited. i almost cursed her out but i didn't want to make myself look like a fool in public. safe to say they lost a customer, which is a shame because leo actually does a good job when it comes to nails. i'll NEVER be returning to this business. your customer service skills are disgusting and embarrassing. for a "high end" place in a town like westfield, i expected better service. i'll GLADY take my business elsewhere that's more deserving. read more

Horrible customer service. Purchased a gift card for my daughter was told it would cover a gel mani and pedicure when she went to use they told her its was not enough. They ask her to pay the difference. They also proceeded to give her a regular pedicure and even when she asked multiples times if it was gel. This was my first time at this salon. I went because i had a gift card. I got the dip mani which is a powder instead of normal polish. First of all, I walked in and the place was stunning. Amy did my nails and I am more than pleased with the way they came out. Everyone that I encountered in my time there was nothing but pleasant. They are also very fairly priced. I walked into the nail salon without an appointment kid afternoon on a Tuesday. The spacious salon was practically empty, except for about three customers. I was told, by the receptionist, that it would be a half hour wait. I told her "no problem, I'll wait here," selected my polish and proceed to wait quietly in the reception area. About ten minutes later, another customer arrived without an appointment, requesting nail services. I overheard her voicing her concern over the wait time. She was Caucasian and pregnant and I am a black woman. Needless to say, she was taken right away. After, well past my appointment time, I politely asked the receptionist, "How long?" Momentarily, I received a text message, from the receptionist (who's sitting five feet from me), that my appointment was rescheduled fifteen minutes later than my initial appointment. I waited an additional fifteen minutes, after this rescheduled time, before I was approached for service. The pedicure was sub par. Two days after the service, my pedicure looked weeks old. The nail salon is aesthetically pleasing, but I would never recommend it. read more

My friend and i went to Nails spa and Beyond in Westfield today. When we got there, we were greeted with a smile and the place looked very nice. The woman doing my nails was kind too. I had brought 20 dollars anticipating that a manicure is 10 and i had 10 for dinner. My mom said that most manicures are 10 dollars. As she was painting my nails, I asked her the price of my manicure and she said 20 dollars. 20 dollars!? I thought to myself this better be good. As my friend and I walked outside after paying the absurd price of 20 dollars, we realize that our cuticles were cut up, there was polish all over our fingers and the coat wasn't strong enough. All of this for 20 dollars. For 20 dollars I'd expect an exceptional mani and this was the worst one I ever had. They had taken advantage of two girls. I ended up showing them and they even thought to say that the color was too light and that was the issue; not that there was polish everywhere where it should not be and the color was a bright blue. They gave my 10 dollars back after my mom called the place but lesson learned. There's 9 million nail places so don't go to this place. read more

Just tried Nails Spa & Beyond today. What a huge disappointment! First, credit where credit is due...the place is beautiful, large, and clean. The polish selection is insane but the better brands of polish are $5 more, so look before you leap. I've been to several salons over the years and have never paid $29 for a pedicure that lasted a hot 20 minutes. A 5 minute massage for BOTH legs - but only the tops of my legs since she put some bench under my knees. I know it was 5 minutes because she set a timer and when it went off, that was that. I've got crooked, chopped up toenails and polish all over my toes. To add insult to injury, I was asked 3 times if I wanted more services like a 10 minute massage. After that awful leg massage, I wasn't going to throw good money after bad. I'm being generous with the 2 stars. Try this place if you've got money to burn and nothing better to do.
