Once she finally got started, she moved at a snails pace. the wax was way too hot and left burn marks on my skin. when I came home I noticed a whole patch by my eyebrows that she completely missed. what a waste of time and money. I'll be finding another place going forward.

Beautiful place. Clean and relaxing. Employees are always hardworking and pleasant. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the female owner. I have been there multiples times I do not know her name, but every single time without fail she is always rude and unwelcoming. Joe on the other hand is friendly and seems to appreciate my business. Despite attempts to be cordial, she remained stoic. During the pedicure, she pushed a book of nail colors at me to pick from and roughly pushed/pulled my feet from the water instead of instructing me to do so. When it came to the gel manicure (she remained rough), filing and sawing across the nail beds. This is not only uncomfortable but weakens nails. Even after stating my discomfort, she continued rather than use an e-file. I left miserable with sore nail beds. Since staying nearby, decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, it was another disappointing experience. My usual salon provides a strengthener and three coats of gel that lasts about a month; this gentleman used two coats, charged extra for the strengthener and asked that I return in two weeks. Once I returned home had to re-file nails; each one had a different shape and size. The pedi color was also darker than the mani due to not using the same number of coats. Wish I had met the nail techs other reviewers spoke of, because I wanted to like this salon. Hopefully my experience will help them make necessary improvements for others, but I definitely won't be returning.

I needed a gel pedicure and an acrylic fill in . The guy in charge said he would be able to do that no problem . I started with the pedicure first and was initially pleased at how thorough he seemed . Once polishing began it took a turn for the worst . It was like a child coloring outside the lines , polish was everywhere all over my skin ! He said he would fix it and even tried to do some nails over but they were still really bad . After he proceeded to poorly clean the pedicure tools which was horrifying and I hope I do not get some kind of fungus . In any case I just settled for what I got and wanted to proceed to do my acrylic fill in . I needed something basic with no manicure so no metal tools would be needed . While I was doing my toes he assured me he had the acrylic I needed and also the nail type I needed and he took a look at my nails . Once he saw I was dissatisfied with my pedicure he proceeded to tell me he could no longer accommodate me because the salon was so busy . Mind you there was only one person in the salon . I pointed out that I had made an appointment and told them what services I needed and they agreed . He then proceeded to tell me he didn't have the nail type (tips) I needed when just 10 minutes before he told me he did . When I brought that information to his attention he said my nails were too long and he wasn't comfortable doing long nails . There was excuse after excuse because I spoke up about my pedicure . I was very inconvenienced and charged $40 for this horrible service and bad customer service . AVOID if you can there are some better and CLEANER places in linden which isn't very far if you're in Rahway .
