I brought my daughter to Edgewood last week for a persistent cough she'd had since before Christmas…read moreand specifically asked for her to be flu tested. Dr. Gendelman completely dismissed her symptoms and told us she wasn't "sick enough" to test. Once again, the only recommendation was to give Benadryl to "dry it up." Her symptoms continued to worsen, and today I had to take her to urgent care, where she tested positive for what they called "super flu." As a parent, it's incredibly upsetting to feel unheard when advocating for your child--especially when it turns out something serious was missed. The level of care at this practice has clearly changed, and it no longer feels like sick children are taken seriously. I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend this office based on our recent experience.

Christina and the other ladies are easy to communicate with and are extremely helpful. Today Christina helped me with a script that was written and huron valley hospital wanted it a certain way so Christina made it happen. Just for Huron Valley hospital not be able to get my daughter in until 6 weeks from now. Called the office again and Christina was again amazing and helped me again by giving me Information on another facility and thankfully I was able to schedule my daughter to be sooner than Huron Valley! Also all the ladies who check you in and out are always amazing. All the doctors are amazing. We usually see Dr. Deb, Melissa and or Dr. Gendelman who are all amazing and so helpful. They truly take their time to examine your kids and explain everything to both parents and child. So thankful for everyone in this office from the front desk, to the nurses and the doctors. Thank you Edgewood team for always being there for my family!

Their 24/7 emergency line is quick and efficient. From the newborn crying phone calls to 104 degree fevers and ER trips, they set a plan of action and always reassure they are with you every step of the way. I wish we could rate them higher. We have had nothing but incredible experiences with every single pediatrician in this practice. After our sons first day of PT/OT therapy, Dr. Ober called to see how we were doing. After every late night emergency line call, they have called to follow up/check in with us in the morning. They care about your child and know your family well. They go above and beyond and it is comforting and reassuring your child is truly in the best hands. Thank you for all of your care and support!

When we walked in, the woman at the front desk was on the phone. She said she was trying to call me since they had a strict 10 minute cancelation policy and that despite being there at 4:40 they were canceling our appointment. We could not help that there was an accident. My husband is a physician and not once in his career has he heard of a 10 minute wait policy or turned a patient away. A little empathy and grace would go along way. Not to mention we have waited 20+ minutes at an appointment before (never once did we complain). We will not be back.

Their primary…read moredoctor is Dr. Denise Lippitt but we have seen them all at one point or another and they are wonderful. They are kind, beyond helpful and they go above and beyond for you. Dr. Lippitt treats my children as if they are her own. She's more like a friend than a doctor. The front desk is friendly and reliable. I never have difficulty getting an appt and I rarely wait long. There are toys, books, a large fish tank and movies for the kids. The nurses are very sweet and patient with the kids. I have recommended this practice to many of my friends and I plan on using them until my kids are grown.

That little boy had surgery last night, we were at the hospital for 9 hours before they decided what you knew within 10 minutes. The hospital was amazing also. She took him to Beaumont like you told her to. Thank you. Your quick and accurate judgment could be the reason that my godson is still here. When I have children, I pray that you are still practicing medicine because I wouldn't want to bring them anywhere else.

Dr Yono-Atisha has been so supportive from our initial consultation before birth to our now 9 months of regular checks, weight checks, and sick visits. We always felt heard and well responded to in our worries. The office has an after hours call line which was very peace assuring when needed. Also easy to schedule and have not had any problems with payment or insurance. Overall VERY happy with this office and Dr Rhonda Yono-Atisha as my son's pediatrician.

That was at least another 20 minutes. This is no good when you have two under three. Not fun for anyone! The rooms aren't super clean either. A simple sweep through with a swifter shouldn't take more than two minutes with the small size of the room. Contemplating looking for another pediatrician.
