Okay, it is basically a pan-Asian restaurant, which means that there are dishes on the menu from all over Asia, and the menu itself is actually quite extensive as well. Yeah, it wasn't bad, but it didn't have the charm that more specialised Asian restaurants tend to have, and it can be a little tricky finding the way into the place as well. In fact I didn't expect much at all. Well how wrong was I. A beautifully presented restaurant with linen tablecloths and a lovely outdoor dining area. The menu was not large but offered all the Thai favourites. Fresh and fragrant the food was delicious. I really liked the fact that the chicken satays were not drowned in sauce but had the sauce in a dish on the side. Service was efficient and unobtrusive and the staff dealt extremely well with a large table of people that couldn't make up their minds on what to eat and drink. The only downside was it was quite expensive for a Thai restaurant. Well done Barossa Siam. I will be back.
