Fortunately, I drove over with one of the old railings to make sure. Glad I did. Walked in and Stan said, "I don't know what the hell that is." "It's a porch railing, Stan." He showed me the one brand they sell, completely inappropriate for this job. Meanwhile another customer, a contractor, was being told by another clerk, "I don't have a window like that", whatever that was, and the contractor was trying to choose a replacement. And a THIRD customer, also a contractor, was holding a broken piece of vinyl siding and apologizing by admitting it was "probably 8 to 10 years old" and hoping to match the brown color as best as possible. His clerk was looking at the siding like it was a prehistoric reptile. So! I'm thinking Ingram's motto is: if you want exactly what we sell, come to Ingram!
