As expected, the Chicken 65 was quite good with its Chinese and Indian flavors with a good balance of spicy and savory. I would say that it's a bit soggy but perhaps that's because of the delivery. Other than that, I would say that the Mixed Grill is a bit too dry. It does include all the meats that may taste well but nonehtheless overly cooked that it lacks the flavor that you would expect from the other dishes at this place. Lastly, the Onion Kulcha is alright but it gets a little soggy from the steam in the takeout box. So overall, I would rate this place a 3.5/4 but given that it has great potential, I'll round it up to a 4. read more

Five stars in food and in service. We were considering takeout but decided to dine in. To our surprise there was no wait because only 5 people was in the restaurant. Perfect for us because we could be distanced from others and sit right away. We ordered all the recommended dishes and beverages: samosas, buttery naan, vegetable thali and the mango lassie drink. We shared the vegetable thali as it's enough for two people. TIP: Order a side of rice. It's not enough for all the side servings. Our food came out fast and still tasted fresh. I've a novice to Indian food but this place is spot on for flavor. We definitely will be returning! They get a lot of takeout orders as they were piled up near the front door when we came. Beautifully grilled. I actually wish the paneer were less generously cut because I wanted more of the marinade. - Chicken Tikka Masala - While this is normally a go-to, I admit to being disappointed. Both texture and taste were different than I was expecting, almost more like a traditional curry. I actually wondered if it was influenced by a Nepalese way of making the dish - Samosas - flavorful throughout. Not a version that makes me clamor for more, but well and respectably done -Garlic Naan - I always appreciate when people take the garlic part seriously. I can't deny the food is consistently good at Namaste. My first time here a few years ago I dined in and the place was so cold in the winter that I don't remember anything else about the meal. But during the covid lockdown I decided to order delivery through one of the apps and I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I was. I've ordered several times since and there is nothing I haven't liked. My favorite is the biryani, a rice casserole with your choice of meat baked inside. I also like the chicken tikka and tikka masala. The somosas are an excellent appetizer and come with two different sauces, one is sweet and the other savory. Customer service is nothing to write home about but is definitely not the worst. They currently are accepting to-go and app orders only and place all orders on an unattended table just inside the entrance. All the delivery drivers walk up and touch the bags to read the names. Its a little unsettling to watch but I guess the protocol keeps most the staff safe and away from people. read more

They have me nice, big strips of chicken that were tender enough for me to cut with a fork or spoon. The garlic naan was also a great touch to the meal! I was so pleasantly surprised at this restaurant as I had no expectations but just came here on a friends recommendation. There were 3 adults and 3 kids under five years old and we were given excellent service throughout. The kids were given kid friendly paper cups and smaller plates to eat off of. We ordered the cheese naan, tilapia fish curry, shrimp biriyani, chicken momos, chicken biriyani, chicken vindaloo, mango lassis, and an Indian masala tea. We had to order everything mild because of the kids which worried me but I found out that these guys know how to adjust the heat without adjusting the flavor. The butter chicken sauce was delicious! I would eat that off of a piece of cardboard. The jalfrezi was good, but not as good as vindaloo. I still finished it though. We ordered takeout on Mother's Day. Food was delicious but, overall, an unpleasant experience. Blah customer service, missing food item, and an error on my bill. Ughhh! The lady who took our order by phone seemed confused throughout the conversation; was not knowledgeable about the menu; was not able to answer my questions; and was not polite. When we picked up our food, everything was packed compactly in a bag and, because there was only one customer permitted inside at a time (there was a line of eight people outside), I did not go through the bag to check our order. Didn't want to hold up the line and wasn't sure I could put it all back in the bag. At home, the pistachio Kulfi that was supposed to be included with our dessert platter was missing. A real disappointment but we let it go, because we didn't want to drive back. Today, I looked at my bank account, and there was an additional $10.00 on top of the amount I signed off on my receipt. Normally, I would go to the restaurant with my receipt and ask them to correct the charge, but we're still staying home except for essentials. Mother's Day dinner was a treat, and what an inconvenience to have to go back. Kudos to their staff for wearing masks and following social distancing though. The vindaloo was WAY too spicy for me, but that's not a negative for me - just a warning to everyone else. I have a pretty decent spice tolerance, but couldn't finish it like I would a normal dish. The real negative part was surprisingly the butter chicken. I'm not sure what happened, but the butter chicken was ridiculously sweet? No one in my family could handle more than a bite of it and it was honestly pretty gross to try. I'm being generous and will give them a 3 star. It's tantamount to a "C"! Let's start with the good. The business serves papadam and chutney free. However when we asked the papadams to be warmed - we were told they would need to microwave! Get outa here! The samosa chat was good. The lamb chops with Chana a complete hodgepodge!! The rice wasn't aromatic like Basmati normally is! The ambience is pleasant with some paintings on one wall and the customer segment is definitely diverse. Lots of Asians and also caucasians. The lighting decent - not overly warm or blatantly loud!!! The service was freakin' terrible!! They did not warm the Papadams! The tables were covered with a white table cloth but the table cloth was not changed after appetizers and before entrees. After entrees we were not asked whether we were happy. The momos came in a bundle of 10, but we wanted 5! They did not accommodate our request. The waters got empty during main course and were not filled. The samosa chaat was $5.5. Great price. The lamb $17.5!!! No way!!!! Cleanliness - the men's bathroom had pee that wasn't flushed! The floors were dirty. As u will see in the photos - the presentation of lamb was all over the place!!! No good. So to summarize - this is an overly hyped place. It has good chutneys and perhaps will be a place for a pit stop - perhaps for a chat or maybe for momos if they ever served them in bunches of 5! Our family loves us some Namaste. They are great for handling a group - be it during the buffet or during the regular menu times. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Their takeout process is efficient and I've never gotten an incorrect order. I like how many vegetarian options they have and I normally go for the paneer, vegetable korma, chana masala, and other delicious vegetarian options. The lamb biryani, butter chicken (even with the pick nephews and nieces), and naan are also big hits with our family. My only negative experience is coming in to the buffet around 2:00. The buffet was really not well-stocked and even though there were about four groups in the restaurant, they weren't refilling items. Other than this experience, I've usually had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Given all of the pros and convenience of Namaste, I will continue coming back whenever I get the craving for some delicious Indian food. read more
