The old lady is always aggressive when doing ur eyebrows and moves ur head so much. I've done my eyebrows at other places and never experience something like that. She rubs and smudges my face all over. The first photo is my eyebrows currently and the second one is when I've gotten them done before. I always ask for clean up...not a new eyebrow shape. Awesome place located right off campus. I was referred by a friend that this location does great eyebrow threading so i stopped by one afternoon around 3pm and it was empty. They accept walk ins and appointments and I walked on. I signed my name on the sign in sheet and waited to be seen. It is a mother daughter ran business and it was only the owner in at the time. She was currently servicing someone so I had to wait about ten minutes to be seen. The owner listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. A word of warning. Do not go to Farideh unless you like your eyebrows very very thin. I don't. I went in told her I wanted to keep the thickness, just clean them up. I left with the thinnest brows I've ever had. I'm embarrassed to say that this isn't the first time this has happened. I've been in before and she over-threaded my brows. It took months to grow out and I went to another place to help shape them during the grow out. But I that this place still has good reviews. I figured maybe I didn't explain myself well and I gave her another chance. This time I was very clear in how I wanted them shaped -- keep them as thick as possible, I said. She did not listen. I won't lie. This is the second time. Last month I came to get my eyebrows and one of their staff (manager child) had their child running around crying and screaming. Making me wait 20 min to get my eyebrows in an empty place. Now after driving for 30 minutes in traffic, becauseI do love this place, I get told I need to wait 10 min, from 10 min it went to 20 min and then she said 30 min. When i got there and I signed up she was at the desk in her phone. As you see in the sign up sheet there should be no one if I got there at 4:03 pm. Now she's telling me " to come back later". I came here to get my eyebrows cleaned up and tinted. I didnt wait much and the lady who did them did a great job. Not expensive either.

If I could give 0 stars I would . The lady that did my eyebrows was older and actually did my eyebrows previously once. I found this place in need of a quick clean up but my first and second ( last ) encounter, she was very aggressive with my face and I kindly asked if she would not trim my eyebrows but proceeded to insist and tell me she knows what's best. ( I had to go back and forth with her twice to end up with what I wanted ). Second time I let her do her work without any suggestions and I simply asked for a clean up . I have thick bushy eyebrows and when I saw the results I was in disbelief . Not only were my eyebrows thinner but they were also shaped when I did not ask for that at all . I then told her I did not like the work she did on me and she then insisted she gave me what I wanted. I was very upset and disappointed with the results and asked if I could at least pay half since I really did not like my results. She then caught an attitude and asked to see a picture of my regular eyebrows . I did and she said that's exactly what I have when I know my eyebrows; I look at them everyday LOL ! It eventually resulted with her saying " if you don't have the money just say that" when I had my payment ready in hand. I'm a huge advocate for supporting small businesses but I wouldn't recommend this place to someone who is uncomfortable with speaking up about what they specifically want or to anyone who's getting their eyebrows done for the first time . I'm not sure about the other ladies in there, but this lady in specific could not take any criticism or feedback. Absolutely loved my experience with Kabita. Had a Brazilian done and this was only my second one. There was very little pain, no double dipping on the wax, and she worked efficiently but with care. Not all of their technicians are licensed so if you get the wrong person you will be screwed and likely end up with two different eyebrows. Totally picky about my eyebrows due to horrible past experiences. It's a nice small salon with fairly decent prices for LA. The salon itself is located on the main road and parking can be a hassle since they have extremely limited parking in their very own parking lot which is located on 24th street. I have been avoiding to get my eyebrows done since I been in LA for almost 3 months now but finally I had to get them done before I started looking like an ape haha. Thanks to Groupon, I purchased one session of eyebrow threading for $4.20. That is a decent price considering most places in LA charge way more than that. I feel so bad for forgetting the name of the girl who did my eyebrows. She was the only person at work that day (I cannot seem to recall the day) and it wasn't busy at all.
