A refreshing and satisfying blend in each bite. As a pineapple fan myself, I was very pleased by the fresh slice on nearly every plate. The next outstanding dish was the Thai puffs. Thick flakey pastry, evenly filled with veggies and moist chicken. Served with a home made sweet and sour sauce, which was a bit runnier in texture but so much fresher in flavor! Love to see a freshly made sauce. They have curtains across the front glass, which threw me off but they have an open sign. Come on in during their lunch or dinner hours. The server recommended the shrimp wrapped bacon and it was excellent served with mashed red potatoes and broccoli. The bread and cinnamon butter was a tasty treat. I had to go back to the counter and get them to correct it. The girl in the back prep area was busy scrolling on her phone so the counter girl had to do everything. The chicken was so dry and hard that I could not stab it with the plastic fork. The brisket was chopped into tiny bits and was dry. It reminded me of kibble. The ribs were overcooked and dry as a bone. The sad little roll was ok, but there was no butter to be found. The mac and cheese was decent. Pretty good flavor and consistency. The okra was mediokra. Definitely frozen, and not homemade. The free ice cream wa so soft it ran off the cone so I filled my water cup with it and ate it with a spoon. That turned out to be the best part of the whole meal. I had been wanting to try this place for over a year. Overall, it was a huge, expensive disappointment.
