Several trucks pulled up on time and like little ants, every pro fanned out to do their jobs. The work area was left immaculate and when the project was okayed by Excel, everything was turned on and worked perfectly. These folks just keep going above and beyond. Namaste Solar installed my system around 10 years ago. Everyone should know how well they take care of their customers for the long term in light of the life of the system that is purchased. I'm writing at the moment because SunPower warranted my solar panels and they recently filed for bankruptcy protection. I had no idea. However, the manufacturer of the panels will stand behind the warranty IF I register with them within the next few week. Again, I would have had no idea. Thankfully, Namaste sent me and email informing me of the situation as well as the looming deadline. That's taking care of their customer. I'll that, a year or so ago, I had to install a new roof on my house. Namaste was very responsive and coordinated the work necessary to remove and reinstall my panels. Pricing was reasonable and service was excellent! I really wanted to do business with a local and smaller solar provider, but after the experience with Namaste I am rethinking that... I called and instead of getting a person to interact with I was redirected to an "on-line" interaction. The representative was initially cordial but soon turned indifferent when I stopped "working" for my estimate. I was asked to provide information about my home and when I could not provide the data, things got chilly. After an inordinate amount of effort to get to a person I finally reached the operator and requested a manager to discuss the situation. While I had good service from them a couple of years ago on a reinstall (except for some deck damage), I wasn't as happy this time around. They responded quickly to my request for service, but then quoted me a price 25% higher than what I could find for the exact same inverter, new, with free delivery, online. When I asked if they shopped around for their cost on parts (not even mentioning the $160 per hour labor quote) they promptly replied with a $200 invoice (due in 10 days!) for the diagnostic visit, which lasted about 20 minutes. read more

Namaste Solar has proved to be the best company in the Solar Energy industry. Due to the size of our home we had to be at "Net Zero" to fulfill Boulder County permit requirements. That means we had to have enough solar power to operate on our own entirely "off the grid". Because of the size of the job I had to contact over a dozen solar companies to get a quote including Tesla. Tesla was initially my first choice because I was a big fan of Elon Musk, however their products were not ready for delivery and they kept changing my order trying to substitute Chinese made products for the American made ones they could not deliver. Namaste was ready, willing and able to get the job done from the get go. Adam Libs my residential sales coordinator followed up constantly to make sure our installation went perfect from the initial installation schedule to final permit approval. Jason Ortiz is an absolute superstar! He is simply so amazing with customer service that my wife cooked lunch and dinner for him just to keep him at our home longer. Our installation was flawless and the educational "classes" he provided to train us on our home solar and energy monitoring systems was spectacular. He installed a program that we could see on both our Control4 screens and our iPhones and Android phones that allowed us to see when we were generating so much solar power that we were actually feeding the grid to Xcel energy that we used as a back up energy provider to get us through the winters. We had so many credits that a power bill for a 6,000+sf home had 7 months a year at zero dollars and only a few months that ever exceeded $150. The system proved it could pay for itself in under ten years. Namaste installed a solar system on my garage roof a few week ago. From start to finish the experience has been great. My salesperson, Matt, was incredibly helpful and honest about the pros and cons of solar on our particular roof setup. Much more so than some of the other solar companies we spoke to that tried to sell us the biggest system possible. Matt helped me understand what system would be the best bang for the buck, and was honest that our roof wasn't perfect for solar. That said, we really wanted to make a switch to solar energy, but really appreciated his honesty. Matt came up with a very comprehensive proposal and walked me through all of my questions. Every substantial purchase in life takes effort to ensure you're making the right decision. Our solar project took something like four months, with every delay caused entirely by me. I sent out for four or five bids. I brought three companies to the house for interviews. Ever the armchair engineer, I even taught myself some of the math behind the solar equations. Enter Namaste. They brought the lowest price for the right hardware. The panels they prefer aren't the highest rated, but neither are they the most expensive. Go elsewhere for the Cadillac; we just want to avoid the power bill. The team at Namaste and I worked through several, I think four, different design iterations -- all of which were by my request. They were incredibly patient with my questions, and helped me learn a bit along the way about how this technology really works. It is fascinating if you dig into it. If you're considering going solar, you really should. Installation on our 8.54Kw system took about a week, with extra time digging and refilling a trench between house and garage to connect two arrays together. My fiance and I bought a house this past December, and like many, got a bit of sticker shock when we saw our first electric bill. We consider ourselves to be efficient with our electricity, but with a much larger house and heated tile floors in our basement, we had an enormous bill on our first month of electricity. We instantly looked at solar. The first place I looked was Solar City, a company that advertises everywhere, including our local Home Depot. I called them, got a quote, and it sounded pretty cool. Then I did the research. Sure, it would cost me nothing to get them installed on my house, but I wouldn't benefit other than about 10 bucks off my bill every month and in the future when xcel raises their price. In a nutshell, I would be paying Solar City for the energy produced off my own roof, instead of paying Xcel Energy for the energy that they provide. Not much of a benefit. I looked up places and found Namaste. They had great reviews, great references, and they were incredibly quick to respond to me. They have a fantastic financing option that had me sold. They do a 12 year low interest rate loan on a majority of the cost of the solar panels. Then, they do a 1 year, same as cash loan that is "floated" until I get the federal rebate next year to the tune of 8k. When I get that, I give it to them, with no interest. Takes a huge chunk out of the cost of the panels. I got a 7.92 KW system that is slated to produce about 12,000 Kwh of electricity a year. This will cover all (most likely more) than we will need. It banks up, so whatever I don't use, I can use in the coming months. (Particularly useful in the winter when I want to use those forbidden heated tile floors). I started this process in February. They aren't a HUGE company so they don't have the people to install the panels right away, but it gave us time to do all the research and get all of our ducks in a row. Namaste took care of the permits, inspections, and drew up all the plans. We really didn't have to do anything. It was originally supposed to be installed in late July, but they are continually hiring new "Co-Owners" (Their company is owned by employees) and the panels ended up being installed last week, early June. It only took them 2 days to install and it was inspected and approved the following day. Now we just have to wait for Xcel to come by and install the net meter, which, apparently takes around 2 weeks. I can't wait to turn them on! I will update my review as soon as they are on and functioning. So far, Namaste has 5 star service all the way. read more
